Did a poor job and charged 650.00. Called them back out and they returned and did the job right. But then charged me again, the same amount 650.00 I refused to pay, as this was a re do of the poor initial job. It's interesting that they only have 16 reviews and they have been in business for years. Anyway I called them again 2 years later and they said they didn't want to clean my carpet as I was "too picky". read more

I had a pair of custom barstools that I thought were ruined by a bad red wine spill - the stools are blue, white and grey fabric and the wine hit every color. Coleman Cleaners completely restored them, and I'm in total shock at how great they look. They also didn't charge a fortune. Can't recommend this place enough!! read more

I was very happy with the service i received from Coleman Carpet Cleaners. My couch needed an emergency cleaning. I called several companies this morning to get a bad spill removed before it dried. All the companies were booked out a week or more. When I called Colemans and explained the urgency, Mr. Coleman himself came out a few hours later making time for me between other jobs. That is service above and beyond. Thank Mr. Coleman for caring about my situation. read more

Bottom line; it's never ok to drive that aggressively in the wet with your company name on the door While leaving Goleta today I encountered an incredibly aggressive driver with Coleman Carpet Cleaners on the door of a white Ford Explorer. This driver zipped past me on the freeway doing well above 80 mph - probably into the 90s and in the wet as it had been raining all day. This driver got off the freeway at the 154 exit so they literally saved moments by driving dangerously. It's never ok to risk everyone else's life if you're in a rush, especially with your company name on the door. read more

Friendly, knowledgeable techs. Very professional and they did quality work. I'll definitely use them again.

Colemans has always been there for me. My two dogs got skunked and rubbed their skunk faces all over my area carpets. Colemans picked up my rugs and got the skunk smell out. They always take great care in returning the rugs to my house, laying them down carefully. They always are polite and professional. they truly care about their customers. ;) read more

The cleaners are miracle workers ! I have used Coleman for rugs, upholstery, a linen bed frame, pillow covers. They all came back perfect. They also pick up and deliver. Great service. read more

I had an unusual request and I was happy that they treated me with respect. I had bought a throw rug that I wanted to use as a contoured bath mat. This meant making a cut-out for the toilet and stitching the cut so that it would not unravel. At first they said it might take a week or two. But as it turned out it just took about a day and they did a beautiful job. I had asked at several other businesses before going to them. Every other business was actually rather rude to me that I would even bother them with such a trivial job. So, I am quite happy with how things turned out with Coleman Carpet and it makes me want to do business with them in the future. Maybe on a job that is not so "trivial"! read more

Coleman Carpet Cleaners - Here is the contour trim job they did for my bathroom carpet. Nice! - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Goleta, California

Go anyplace else than Coleman. They did a terrible job cleaning both carpets and furniture and then deny any further responsibility to do it correctly. If you want to open a can of worms with a company, call these guys. Even their employees follow the company culture. Rude, and try to look the other way. The owner, who set that culture, is no better. John will agree to anything, and then back out of any agreement. How this company has stayed in business this long is beyond me. To top it off, their prices are considerably higher than their competition. Santa Barbara deserves better, and Coleman is not the company to reach out to for cleaning anything that matters. Some companies appear to forget that Santa Barbara is a small town, and word travels quickly in such a town. GET EVERYTHING FROM THEM IN WRITING! Otherwise, you'll never see any resolution. Coleman continues to disappoint. read more

WOW. The inside of my car looks brand new! It's almost unrecognizable. The carpet and upholstery are practically sparkling. They even got an hard, lumpy paint spill off the back seat. Coleman really took care of us from start to finish. Teresa made the whole process super easy - she's a gem! Update 5/1/20: Just got a decorative rug cleaned and it's like brand new again! Really happy with the service. I appreciated the extra social distancing measures they took in light of COVID-19. They also had masks and gloves available for customers to use while in the store. Thanks again Coleman! read more

I just had my rugs cleaned by Coleman. They have never looked so good! Cody and Randy were right on time, very professional, and took great care not to damage any plants when they got the hose over my balcony. I really appreciated that. I actually thought I might have to replace my carpeting in the near future but they did such a wonderful job I don't think I'll have to for a while. Whenever I have my carpeting cleaned again I will call Coleman without a doubt. I've already recommended them to friends. read more

Horrible. Don't use them, even though they are recommended by Carpeteria. Call The Carpet Guy. They said they used scotchguard. Me think not!!! Charged over $500 for 800 square feet. read more

John, Michael and their team are the most dedicated carpet care experts in the greater Santa Barbara area. They have served many of my clients' needs throughout the last 20 years and consistently provide stellar customer service and A+ cleaning care. Highly recommended!!!!!! read more

Amazing place to have your oriental rugs cleaned. Your wall to wall will go from old to new. They take care of every carpet or rug no job to big or small. I worked for them before my knees gave out and was trained from the best, John Coleman who started the company out of his car in the 60's still is involved in the company fully. His son Michael follows in his footsteps, with hard work ethic and know how to get the worst of the worst stains out of whatever your rug, carpet,or upholstery needs may be. So after three years there I can tell you they are definitely men of their word, and when they shake your hand look you in the eye and make you a deal you can take their word for it. After all ,what is it worth to do business with someone who doesn't stand by their word. read more

I used Coleman Cleaners a couple of times to clean the carpets in my house because I was told they were the best. They seem to do an OK job. They were courteous, on-time and very expensive. They scraped up my baseboards a bit with their big hose and failed to put protectors under several legs of my furniture to prevent bleeding from the wooden legs onto the carpet so I had to call them back about this in order to get the stains out. My nightmare with using this company came when we had a water leak in our house and I called them to do the dry-out and repair from the water damage. I specifically used them hoping that my carpets would be treated with care and saved. During this job, they put over 10 new stains on my carpet that were not there before, permanent stains that they could not get out and are still there today. They also spilled some chemical on our carpet, lied about it and then tried to cover it up by painting (yes, actually painting) our carpet with paint the same color. After confronting them, the best they did was to cut out that section of painted carpet and replace it with a spare piece I had in my garage. The owner said the other stains were "normal wear-and-tear while working". They also botched the job on the dry-wall ceiling repair and we ended up with a crack down the ceiling in between the new and the old dry-wall. We recently had them come and try to fix this crack and ended up with a 1-foot wide line down our ceiling instead. I've given up on these guys and have just concluded that the flooded area will never be back to what it was and I will forever have these permanent stains on my carpet and a line down my ceiling. I highly recommend that you stay far, far away from these guys for any flood damage repair. read more

These are wonderful cleaners. I used them for slip covers and was so pleased with how well preserved the covers were. Great business.

Coleman is the best carpet cleaner I have had and I have recommended them to friends. They did an excellent job--when they finished my old carpet looked almost new, a very pleasant surprise. They were prompt, courteous, careful and very willing to move the heavy furniture. They left me with a small bottle of spot cleaner which works very well. I will certainly use them again. read more
