Our server was excellent--friendly, attentive, and totally on the ball. We genuinely enjoyed her banter, and she added a lot to the overall experience. The atmosphere was a highlight. From the deck room, you get a relaxing view of Fort Knox, the Penobscot River, the docks, the railroad tracks, and the river walk. I get it. it's a tough business and hard to get good help. I had my own small restaurant for 40 years. but I was always there making sure everything was as good as possible. and it was. get it together guys. put some effort into it and don't disappoint people like us traveling who don't want fried seafood or pizza, for Christ's sake.
