They've sold me skis, customized my boots, adjusted equipment all for reasonable prices (and equally important talked me out of buying things I don't need)! I usually deal with Matt who is extremely knowledgeable and definitely customer oriented. I also bought skis for a great price from a different employee! Nordica Enforcers, I bought last years model and saved MT 50%. He assured me nothing changed on the skis except the graphics. I love the ski. The usual experience in WNY ski shops is either one of the owner hovering trying to sell you everything or conversely kids who are disinterested in helping you at all. I can't recommend EAST AURORA Mud Sweat and Gears more highly.

The kids they had "assisting" me could not make recommendations beyond "This section has women's boots" and "I like these because they look cool." He couldn't answer basic questions about sizes and had no idea how to even get me into a boot. Any boot. My experience at Mud, Sweat, and Gears was completely different. An experienced skier who is even familiar with offerings at ski lodge in the Pacific Northwest identified not only why I wasn't able to get into most boots, but what features were necessary for me to find a good fit. He set me up with new boots that have adjustable calf section and room for high arches, then customized them with a heal lift and custom insoles. Thank you!!!

There are now groomed trails that can be ridden year-round! How freaking cool is that! The first think you may notice when driving by is the green wood-paneled Cadillac limo. This rad thing is their shop van! These guys load up and hit up bike parks in this thing. This is by far the coolest shop van I've ever seen. The guys at the shop are the nicest humans you'll find. They are all so good at what they do, and won't make you feel like an idiot when you come in. I had the pleasure of camping here for a women's weekend event, and the guys at the shop made sure we had what we needed and let us have our fun. Shop dog Willow is the cutest! If you stop by, make sure you get a sticker of sweet Willow. I'm almost bummed that I don't live here anymore, but now I have an excuse to come visit! I will be back, and I would recommend this shop without hesitation!

While in New York for snowy weekend we decided to rent snowmobiles. The people that we stay with…read morenormally rent from this place. I first have to explain the building. It is my dream man cave with rough-hewn lumber for siding on the inside and smells of 2-cycle engines and gasoline. Complete with the friendliest people you could ever meet. Snowmobile people generally stick together and it seems like everyone in this crew including all of the customers came in and out of this place during the day seem know each other and were really friendly. Now going into this place I want to let you know that renting snowmobiles is not a cheap way to spend your morning. The snowmobiles they have are not 12 year old pieces of junk most of them are current model year and have very few miles on them. The particular sled I was on retails for about $16,000 and I paid around $230 to rent for 4 hours. Not a bad deal if you're only going to snowmobile once or twice a year. This dealership was located in a town of Ellery and the way the trail system works here is that these snowmobile clubs are all volunteer and they maintain the trails which go through private properties. So they have to respect the property owners so the trails are maintained. We had an incident with one of the snowmobiles where we ended up flipping it into a very small body of water. It was completely unintentional however fellow on a snowmobile have to be driving by and knew where we rented the sled from call the owner, helped us get this let out of the water unfortunately the engine was hydrolocked. This stranger than helped us towed the sled a few miles up to the street where the owner, Bryce, met us with the trailer and he wasn't even mad. We helped him load the sled in the trailer and got it back to the shop or he even encouraged us to grab another sled and go out and finish up a rental. But to be honest we're pretty much done at that point. Fortunately the damage was minimal and the shop did not charge us for the damage. These are Stand Up Guys working very hard in a small company and I would encourage you 110% to give them a try.

I figured the best place to check out gloves would be a ski shop. The store is set up in a way that makes it fairly easy to navigate. I didn't have to search hard to find what I wanted. While I was looking at the children's gloves (my mom has small hands), Kaley asked if I needed any help. I told her I was buying gloves for my elderly mother who has Raynaud's disease, and that I thought the Gortex ones I found in the children's department would be great, but that I would also like to see a balaclava for Mom. Kaley explained that the Gortex gloves I chose were a nice and warm choice, but wondered if I'd like to consider another glove that she said was popular with a lot of others with Raynaud's disease. She said the Size Small in ladies was pretty small, so maybe it would suitable for my mom. I was impressed she knew what Raynaud's disease was and could point me toward a glove others with the problem were purchasing. I took her up on her suggestion, as she explained that after Christmas, Mom could exchange it for something else if this one didn't fit the bill. She also showed me a balaclava that would be great for my mom. The store was clean, the customer service fantastic, and the exit area kept very warm thanks to a portable heater they keep there as a service to customers. I'm not someone who skis or snowboards, but when it comes to warm winter wear, I will be going back to make further purchases.

We've been renting skis here now and getting work done on our skis since it opened. I just got to deal with Trevor and he helped me out by fixing a tip on one of my ski poles. I've also dealt with Alyssa previously and she was wonderful to deal with. They're the only spot really to get your skis in Buffalo. Their prices are cheaper than online, which is kind of hard to do. I just had both of our pairs of skis, sharpen and waxed and they were great on the slopes. You're looking yfor ski equipment. This is a place to go.

Mike was very patient and was able to answer all my questions and offer product suggestions on how to solve my problems. I will be back soon to get a full tune up, sharpening and wax. I was thrilled to be helped by a saleswoman who took her time answering my questions and making helpful recommendations. She made sure to wipe down anything I touched so the inventory would be safe for the next shopper. I was lucky to find a great pair of goggles which happened to be on sale . Upon investigating, I noticed the tongue area possessed a foreign object behind the padding, causing the issue. And the boots were just poorly fitting. However, the staff was friendly and helpful.
