I came in late, the shop was empty and both workers were hiding in the back, and I saw one of them roll their eyes as we walked in. Asked if they had any non dairy, and the attendant said no. Then once we were paying, I saw a flyer that said "plant based", and when mentioned attendant said that was the only one they had. I guess she thought that meant I ordered it, because she decided to add it to my bill and charged me for 5 when I only ordered 4. Growing up in the 'hood, I know that you always have to go far to get any type of decent services. I went in to this location today because I was already there and I wanted to treat my mom to some creamy goodness. Unfortunately, that ice cream was not creamy. Like others have posted, the ice cream was freezer burned - reminiscent of my childhood - the months old ice cream from the plastic bin that was left in the back of the freezer and forgotten about (but still ate for breakfast because that's what children do). lol. Except I literally paid $26 for two ice creams ... so it was quite unacceptable. One star for the young lady who rang me up and , subsequently, helped me with a refund. Zero stars for the management/owner who sells that poor quality ice cream I got today... to a population who will typically not speak up about being dissatisfied. Please note this was my experience today, so please do your own research. And if you do end up going here and your ice cream is not good, then speak up and tell them. Went to this location on 02/29/24 @ 9:30pm. On the website it said it closed at 10:00pm. When I got to the door it was locked the floor was mopped and a young lady was just standing there looking down. She acted like she didn't see me it was so obvious. I knocked she ignored me.. I knocked and again she ignored me again I knocked harder and she looked at me with and attitude and with hand gesture's stated they were closed and rolled her eyes. I was so upset because it was closed at 9:30 pm and on top of that this young lady greets me all rude! I don't recommend this location at all false advertising of their closing time and a rude employee. It was pretty much the very end of the ice cream in the tin so they scraped the side of the tin to get my ice cream. I love cold stone! This location always has very nice ladies. It is pricey, which is why I gave it a 4 stars, but everything else is a 5. It seems clean, and their ice cream is so good! If you sign up for their rewards, you usually get coupons for birthdays and sometimes just because. This is the only time I come, when I have coupons. I always get the ice cream with 1 mix in, but this last time I got one of their creations. My mom ordered the cheesecake one and substituted the graham crackers for almonds, which I thought made it even better and I got the strawberry blonde, which I thought was a little too sweet (and I have a sweet tooth, so that should say something). Anyway, you can always ask for a sample of their ice cream and they will be glad to give it to you. No sense of remorse or understanding ! My daughter asked for a sample and did it with attitude ! Very immature person . After serving our ice cream on a waffle cup We leave the store and get to the vehicle , we find out the waffle is very stale So I asked to change the waffle out , starts to argue with me in front of customers suggesting to only change the waffle cup ! No sense of solution So she changes out the waffle cup and I get back to the car and it is stale again I must say I am a finance manager in the car business , and I know what great service is , this person didn't even meet 10% of great service or a solution to keep a customer Instead went on and did everything to lose a customer I will never go back to that location In fact never go back to cold stone !!!! I'm honestly surprised no one on Yelp has commented on the smell. I've heard people in the store say the same thing--it smells weird. I had been a loyal customer of this cold stone for several years until recently. I recently went and had a very bad experience with the new cashier working. I bought a ice cream cake which was really ugly. The girl made another cashier who wasn't experienced write on my cake. When I told her that I didn't like it she went off on me. Telling me that the cake was fine the way it was and that there was nothing she could do. She then decided to ignore the fact that I was there. Once she saw that I wasn't leaving she said that there was no one available to fix the cake but the owner. I told her that it didn't matter who fixed it but I wanted it fixed. You could end up paying almost 26-30 dollars if you came with a family of four! This is a convenient location for me, but ironically this was my first time here. Cake batter and oreo creme filling was a good hit. My friend did some crazy birthday cake remix that seemed so much sweeter than what I had. I always have coupons for this place, but I didn't for this visit and was kind of sad. If you're not walking here I'd imagine parking would be a struggle. This is not a location to visit on a whim, go somewhere else. Parking is a HASSLE. 13 dollars for two love its seemed so expensive to me when I used to frequent cold stone quite often.
