OMG- so grateful to have a friend who always thinks of me and loves to share food! LOL. The ube cream cake was a little firmer than the mainstream American/ Asian style cream cakes. That 4" by 4" all-purple piece of cake was good- Not overly sweet and just simply good. Over and above that, the ube bread rolls were pure deliciousness. The individually wrapped bread rolls were extremely soft and fluffy like Japanese milk bread. The sweet ube cream filling would be my favorite part of those fluffiest bread rolls. I just cant wait to visit the bakery shop and food court that fellow Yelpers raved over!

I could definitely see sitting in the space, maybe doing some work, or talking with a friend. It's also kid friendly. There were a lot of different jar options to choose from for dessert, and that's what we came for... we were immediately overwhelmed and full of questions since this was our first time visiting. The cashier was very helpful with sharing the most popular options, and telling us her thoughts on her favorite options. I chose one of her recommendations, which was the brownie delight, and I was absolutely delighted. My friend got the tres leches. His dessert was also very tasty... I was very impressed by the flavor of the cake in that. On another note, if dessert really isn't your thing they also have shakes and juices to choose from. They also do catering, which I thought was really nice... I saw some of the boxes they were preparing and I think that's a great idea for a party.

The stovetop was the only equipment that functioned properly, while other equipment either did not work or the owners were unable to operate it safely. The kitchen conditions did not appear to be properly maintained or fully operational. Although a refund was initially agreed upon due to these issues, the refund was never sent. Communication and professionalism throughout the process were extremely poor. Based on our experience, we would strongly encourage others to thoroughly inspect the facility and confirm all equipment is fully functional before doing business here.

I was shocked at the food options and now curious enough to return for lunch. My coffee drink of choice is a mocha latte and they did a great job. I plan to drop in again for food since the menu offered some slightly different twists on sandwiches.

For the uninitiated, a paleta is a Mexican frozen dessert similar to a popsicle, but crafted from whole, natural ingredients like fresh fruit or rich dairy. Despite the anniversary crowds, the friendly staff kept the line moving in under 20 minutes. They offer an incredible variety of regular and filled flavors. My wife ordered passion fruit filled with condensed milk and dipped in chamoy for a tangy, sweet-and-sour kick (though she felt the fruit flavor was a bit subtle). I got the pineapple mint and dipped it in cookie butter--as a huge fan of cookie butter, that extra layer took it to a whole new level of deliciousness. While indoor seating is limited to four or five tables, the Sugar Land Town Square location offers plenty of outdoor seating and free parking in the garage right across the street. Paletas start around $6.50, with dips at $1.35 and toppings at $1.10, putting a customized one at over $8. At that price, it's a bit steep for frequent visits, but with friendly service and a refreshing treat from the Texas heat, it's definitely worth checking out!
