I got the ice cream coffee cake and it was really good! The cake wasn't too sweet and the mini ice creams at the top were sooo cute! The workers also made the cake just how we wanted it. A handful of tables are available inside and some on the patio as well. Try any ice cream sample before you buy, just ask! I usually like my ice cream with a mix in of some sort for some texture so I chose Love Potion 31, which was amazing. The mini dark chocolate hearts filled with raspberry jam and white chocolate ice cream was a total indulgence. The chocolate hazelnut was also great...think dark chocolate and nutella! The cookies and cream as pretty smooth as well, although I'd prefer more cookies in it. I used to really enjoy going to this location for my favorite chocolate chip ice cream, but on this latest visit, I wasn't too much of a fan. I got the double scoop of chocolate chip ice cream, which tasted good as usual, but the part I didn't like was the waffle cone which was pretty stale and hard to chew. It was apparently not freshly made, but the cone affected the overall ice cream experience. Not sure whether it's just their process to finish old cones. The staff/cashier who helped me out looked like she was maybe little annoyed? I can't pinpoint it, she wasn't rude or anything, but the expression isn't as welcoming as it could be I guess. I am not sure whether it it is a bad day or what but there were quite a few customers that day since it was Memorial Day. They kind of made people wait outside until customers inside were done. It's the first time I see that in a while, but I guess it is good in a way to be safe, although if I had to wait outside in the hot weather, I wouldn't be too happy. I go here only once or twice a year. When it's 31 cent day for ice cream or when it's my birthday and i get free ice cream. The store has been in Sugar Land for AGES and has made it through all the new competition and location. Ice cream here is solid and standard of the expectations of what you would have of baskin robbins. it's small inside but they keep it clean and not sticky which can be a problem in ice cream joint. staff were friendly and let us sample almost every flavor before we bought our ice cream so it was a great guilt free time. read more

Line was close to the entrance when we walked in. Usually I order the one which taste like coffee because its pretty close to hagaan days flavor. Yesterday, I tried very berry strawberry, and it had chunks of strawberries. Total delicious with just the right amount sweetness. I heard someone mention pineapple and looking forward to trying that one next time. Staff was nice and continue to serve though It was closing time. Plenty of seating and parking. I think I have a sentimental attachment to this place... which may explain the four stars. The ice cream itself is a solid 3 to 3.5 stars though. Just sayin. As a kid, I use to go to this location to get my ice cream fix and it still brings back good memories whenever I drop by. I like this location because it's still relatively unknown (i.e. uncrowded, even though it has been there for years) and the people that work behind the counter are nicer than the ones in the Rice Village location. I ordered a cake online for my son. I went to pick it up and they charged me for it at the store. I assumed that one of the pending charges in my bank statement would drop off, but they both posted as having gone through. I called and spoke with Sheila and she told me to bring in my bank statement or a receipt. I wasn't given a receipt, so I brought my statement. Instead of apologizing that her employee charged me at the store when she shouldn't have, she asked me why I didn't catch the error. I told her that I assumed the pending online charge would drop off and that I took for granted the person ringing me up knew what she was doing. The employee just said yes and I said are you sure it's available and he said yes. Poor service and cleanliness. No customers in the eating area and several tables have melted ice cream smeared on them. As a lady asked about what I'd like, I asked to sample a flavor. I took my niece here on our most recent treat excursion. Some of the flavors are seasonal, while others are pretty much there until they get discontinued. When in doubt, check online to see if your favorite flavor(s) are there. Also they send out frequent coupons via facebook and email so if you are a frequent patron, make sure to scope out those deals. This time I got the lemon custard, which I think it is flavor that I have never tried before. It was more sweet than tart, but still good.
