I had an extremely uncomfortable and honestly scary experience at this Cold Stone location. I have a very severe peanut allergy, which I clearly explained to the employee before ordering. I specifically asked whether a certain flavor contained peanuts, and I was told no. After being handed the ice cream and taking a bite, the employee then decided to check the ingredient book to double-check. At that point, I was extremely alarmed. If you're unsure, that should be checked before serving someone especially when they've already disclosed a life-threatening allergy. Because of how unsafe and uncomfortable I felt, I did not end up eating any ice cream or completing my order. On top of that, both the men and woman working were not friendly or reassuring at all, which made the situation even worse. Food allergies are serious, and this experience showed a complete lack of care and awareness. So I walked in, no customers waiting at all. 5 girls behind the counter one of whom was sitting on the counter by the sink. No one acknowledged me at all until the first sitting on the counter saw me staring at her. She reluctantly came and asked how she could help me. I could see some of the other workers working on what I can only assume were online orders since I was the only customer in the store. What happened to "welcome to cold stone?" Or some type of acknowledgement that someone was there to serve a customer?? I had 3 orders to place and instead of her putting them in the chiller while she's working on the others she left them on the counter and as you can see they were melting because the place where they were making the ice cream was too congested so she had to wait for a space to clear for her to work. She starts making the ice cream and while she's making the ice cream another nice employee comes in and helps me with the second order. She asks me cookie dough right? We purchased prepackaged ice cream sandwiches. The plastic packaging was so thin and had been frozen so much it was brittle. We did not notice that the bottom had broke and shards of plastic had peppered the ice cream. I discovered a piece after buying into one and was very shocked to find plastic. We then realized almost all of them had plastic shards. The young kid at the store provided a replacement and apologies. But we have yet to see a sincere customer service response from management. When we called the night it happened my expectations would have been for the manager to use Postmates to immediately replace it. Not to say bring it back and we'll replace it. read more

When we're craving something sweet, my boyfriend and I like to come to this Coldstone location. It's this very location where my boyfriend introduced me to Coldstone for the first time. He always orders cake batter ice cream with Oreos in an "I Like It" size. I usually order Birthday Cake Remix in the same size. The cake batter ice cream is so good and I personally enjoy the addition of brownies that come with my order. The size we order is perfect if you're looking to fill your dessert cravings. Sometimes the employees give more than plenty. They aim to fit as much as possible for you in the small cup so you don't need much more. read more

The girl preparing our order smash the sorbet with attitude. Asked her for a second ice cream in a waffle cone, of course pretending that I didn't ask for it, serves in a regular cup. Ask her again for a waffle cone and of course have a rolling eyes AGAIN! Very disappointed to pay a overpriced ice cream and get treated like garbage for someone without care for her income source. However when we were ordering our ice cream the female employee who was scooping the ice cream had her hair down and a piece of her hair fell into one of the ice creams and she proceeded to take it out after she noticed like it never happened (at least she took it out i guess). I am not sure what Cold Stone's company guidelines are for having your hair pulled back, but as a customer this really grossed me out. Really disappointed with our experience tonight. We came to get ice cream because it is my daughter's birthday. When we came in, there was no other customers, yet the 2 employees did not say a word or even make eye contact with us for a few minutes. They finally were ready to take our order but, it was obvious they had no desire to be there. Worst service in Miami, there were two girls working tonight, both in high school, whose friend came in, and they let him skip the line, in front of me and my little sister who had been waiting there to get our ice cream, and then proceeded to make his ice cream before ours. They then did not make him pay, very noticeably while the store was filled with other customers and gave him the ice cream for free. They messed up both of our sizes of our ice cream as well. Well I came to this location 2 weeks ago. The behavior behind the counter is not the best. No one wants to attend a new customer. Maybe it is very stressful to work here i am not sure. Yesterday convinced me that the culture in the location is terrible. I was there at about it 10:45pm and there was one girl walking around, one working (slow) but working and one talking to her boyfriend who came to see her. Very unprofessional and I nor the other customers behind me (long line and it's been 15 minutes without acknowledging of us). had a need to listen to his personal problems and how upset he was. Was the only one upset, no. The line behind me was complaining plus one customer approached the staff and asked how long it was going to be like that because she will cancel her order and leave. I usually hate traveling to Doral due to the traffic and distance getting there. But that store moves and they always have a long line. Somehow though, they have a great attitude and they also move with a purpose. Sorry about the terrible review but the employees need retraining and a change of attitude. read more

The service at this location was very poorly. No one greeted us when we walked in. When we were ready to order the girls were conversing & laughing, and I had to interrupt them saying "excuse me I'm ready" & she said "okay" and laughed.... didn't really get the joke there, but super rude. One of the girls (the one with purple hair) asked me if I was ready to order & I told her yes, she gave me a sample of the ice cream I was going to choose & went to charger someone else as if she wasn't assisting me. Went in on a Saturday night around 8pm and the service was the absolute worst that I have ever experienced at a Cold Stone. I have been a long time costumer of Cold Stone but I will not be coming back to this location. My boyfriend and I were the only ones in line waiting behind a couple that was helped immediately. Then when it was finally our turn, out of the 5 employees who were present and working the counter, 2 went to the back (obviously to not help) and the other 3 workers completely ignored us while they were working on an online order. How rude!!! They didn't even have the decency to ask us to wait or even acknowledge our presence. Having been my boyfriend's first experience at Cold Stone, it was upsetting to see that we weren't even attended to in order to try the flavors and ask about toppings. Honestly, a change of staff and attitude is extremely needed at this location. I am extremely disappointed with the costumer service and I will not be returning. read more
