Cold Stone Creamery! Going Bananas JELL-O Pudding was the best. Thanks Lomita! For this if I had the resources I would tip a 100$ each time and dance and sing myself. Because usually if you give a tip into the tip jar of any tip jar of any Cold Stone historically all the workers hauling ice cream on that shift would start singing and clapping and dancing as a grateful automatic response. If you didn't know that, this is not a joke, they just do that as appreciation for the purveyors of their fine establishments who take the time and care to tip. Coldstone is one of my favorite ice cream places. Cake Batter is always my ice cream flavor of choice. I usually get it with cookie dough and chocolate fudge mixed in. This coldstone in particular had great customer service. Very friendly environment. Took them a little bit to notice someone was in the store, but overall a positive experience. read more

Cold Stone Creamery is one of my favorite Ice cream shops! I love how creamy their ice cream is and I love that they have a variety of toppings you can mix in your ice cream. I usually like to get their chocolate ice cream and I like to add brownies or vanilla cake to it. Their brownies and vanilla cake tastes so fresh and so moist too! it makes the ice cream even more amazing. If you haven't tried Cold Stones ice cream cake then you are missing out and you need to try it. Their ice cream cakes are really well made. I have bought several cakes from here for birthdays and for potluck events. I usually don't like to eat frosting but I love their vanilla marshmallow frosting that they use on their cakes. It almost tastes like vanilla ice cream and a marshmallow but in a frosting form. and their cake is super good its so moist!! I prefer the vanilla over their chocolate but their chocolate cake is really good too. you can customize your cakes but they also have a few cakes in the freezer you can choose from. My favorite ice cream cakes of theres: -Cookie Dough Delight- which is vanilla cake, cookie dough pieces in vanilla ice cream with vanilla frosting. -Cookies and Creme Cake- If you love Oreos you need to try this. [Review #209] The latest dessert trend is "Thai-style" of rolling ice cream, & Cold Stone Creamery might be an early pioneer of that made-to-order concept except it's not rolled & doesn't use a milk/cream liquid base. CSC's ice cream, churned from the finest ingredients, is mixed/blended in with candy, fruits, nuts, or cakes, on a frozen granite stone. We came in on a Saturday afternoon & we're the only ones in the shop. Shortly after, a family came in after us, followed by several patrons so we ordered quickly from the Signature Creations list: the Oreo Overload; it's made with sweet cream ice cream with double the Oreo cookies, chocolate chips, & fudge. Our ice cream mixologist was generous with the cookies & quick to mix our creation, probably because of the long line building up behind us, but final product did not look a thing like the pic. :-| Its looks, or the lack thereof, was a hodgepodge of a mess but it was tasty nonetheless. I think it would taste & look better (more appetizing) if he had mixed only the cookies & chocolate chips, then drizzled the fudge. There was an Asian woman who came out from the kitchen but I didn't see her assist with the customers. And according to previous reviews, this seems to be their MO. I felt bad for our mixologist. CSC is not what I call artisanal ice cream like Scoops, so its price point is hard to swallow. The small "Like It" cup is nearly $5.00, & add-ons are 99¢. My Signature Like It cup was $6.39; for the same price, I could get a quart of ice cream from Baskin-Robbins or Handel's. :-O The unisex restroom needs to be sanitized; there was an unpleasant smell & wetness on the floor, & we were only washing our hands. :-O Parking may be hard to come by on weekends because CSC is located in the same plaza as Big Lots & the 99¢. The only reason why I brought my daughter in the first place was because she received a gift card from her aunt but I kept forgetting to redeem it over the summer. With its high price point & iffy customer service, I can't pinpoint what makes CSC special enough for a return trip. However, I am impressed with Cold Stone Creamery's partnership with Best Buddies. Currently, they're hosting the 2nd annual fundraising promotion "to support Best Buddies & their mission of ending the social, physical & economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual & developmental disabilities (IDD), such as Down syndrome, autism & other disabilities. Best Buddies helps individuals within this community form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy & communication skills, & feel valued by society." I volunteered for Best Buddies a few years ago, & it's a great organization that supports people with IDD... just for that, I'm adding an extra star. read more

The Open sign was turned OFF and most lights in the store: turned off. Had to try the door to make sure that they were open. The lady barely wanted to take our order. Just stood there. It was really HOT inside and I asked why the lights were off, if they were going out of business. She replied NO. I asked for a vanilla shake. And she stated that she couldn't make it because she didn't have the mix. Husband asked if she could make chocolate shake. She said let me see, she went to the back, came back and said that she wasn't able to make the mix, because it was too close to closing and that it would spoil over night. I've been to this Cold Stone Creamery location twice since my first visit here and I've now decided to up this place to 4 stars :). I'm not quite sure why I didn't give it 4 stars in the first place because this place sure does deserve it Each time I've come here, I have been greated by a very friendly staff. There is hardly ever any wait and we're quickly served. I also noticed the prices here are a bit lower ...always an added bonus :). As for the flavors I've tried, I got the cake batter ice cream with cookie dough and the cookie dough ice cream with chocolate chip flakes (ooh I wanted it with oreo but the girl made a mistake and gave me chocolate flakes instead....but that's ok..it was still good :). Great ice cream and service, but I'm extremely annoyed that when ordering the cake batter batter batter signature mix, which has 2 toppings, it costs an extra dollar than it would if you were making your own mix with 2 toppings. Yet neither of the two toppings cost extra on their own. It's not logical and seems like shady business since I doubt anyone else pays attention when checking out. Not sure if this is the same at all Cold Stones or not, but it doesn't seem right that I could think I'm ordering cake batter ice cream with brownies and cookie dough for one price, then get charged a dollar more because it's a "signature mix". read more

With places like these, the review has more to do with the service than the actual ice cream itself as the ice cream and toppings aren't made in-house. I went on a beautiful socal Sunday, reaching 90+ degrees in the South Bay. When I walked in, there was only ONE worker working. I mean he was working his butt off and keeping his cool while he was catering to each customer in line. Because there was only one worker, it was an extremely long wait. I felt bad for the guy! I wanted to try the new flavors they had (lemon custard, watermelon sorbet, tangerine sorbet, and pink lemonade sorbet) but I just felt that I shouldn't because he was doing all the work and there was a line behind me. So instead of trying new flavors, I just got my usual order. Also, because he was the only worker, he didn't have the time to make new cones, so I actually got the last plain waffle cone. So as much as I'd like to give five stars to the guy, the management doesn't deserve any stars. How can you leave this guy all alone on a sunny summer-like Sunday? It took over 15 minutes to get my ice cream. It's 10 minutes longer that it should have taken. read more

It is 3:38 pm on Friday. Only one person in front of me and no one else. The young woman serving ice cream is not only rude but lazy. I ordered four kids scoops and two love it Ice creams. She used the tiniest scooper to begin with. She was struggling to fill the cups of course, it was such little at a time. She barely put the normal amount we always get. I told her to please be fair with the scoops. She rudely said she was trained and the scoops are weighted so every scoop is the same. I asked her where the scale was at and she said, "I know, I don't need the scale". I told her that clearly one of the four kids scoop was beings cheated. She said no and although I asked her to please remedy her action. She refused. Talk about poor customer service. Going forward I rather drive out of my way to get fair treatment and have happy employees help me. My son cried when he seen his portion against the others. I am attaching a picture and you all tell me what you think?? I suggest we don't go to a business that could care less about our business. Prices are A-OK for what you receive here, fresh made ice cream hand scooped and its not one of those unsanitary smooshy milky frozen yogurt places. Service was scary. Two girls working on the night of 9/10/2021. One girl had long dark braids, the other girl was short and had too much makeup on her face. I ordered online at 8pm. Walked my dog over at 8:40 to pick up the order. When walking in and going to the online pick up area both girls ignored me. I waited patiently and politely let them know I was picking up an online order. They seemed mad and had attitude towards me. I do not know this business or go there often. I decided to test the girls and see how they feel about customer service. Simply telling these two they were real bad at customer service sent them into childish rage. It was hilarious. The girl with the braided hair wanted to call 911 because I complained to her face. The smaller follower girl actually gave me the middle finger. They started with "get out" then it was get out were calling 911!! Then they started telling me how they really felt. They stated I was a door dash customer and that means I automatically get treated rude? Warning to everyone, they look nice but can be evil in a heartbeat. These little kids will not be employed at this place very long it's a lawsuit waiting to happen. The crazy part is the food isn't so special, they seem to need customers. Came here a few minutes before closing on Saturday night - they close early at 9pm, while other neighboring Cold Stones close at 11pm. When we got there, there was not a long line, but it got busy once we got in there. The service was OK, but the ice cream (as always) was delicious! I got the sea salt ice cream with gummy bears and rainbow sprinkles. I was disappointed that we "lost" 3-4 gummy bears when the server scooped the ice cream into the cup after mixing. The first topping is free, but at $0.99/additional topping, I would have liked to see the effort for the extra gummy bears into my ice cream cup. Other than that, the service was fine...not exceptional but I guess it was the end of the day so the workers were tired. read more

I have been to this location several times now. I always leave happy with all of my custom ice cream creations. Sometimes it can get busy, but is well worth the wait. The employees are always kind, and provide great customer service. I have noticed however the employees are inconsistent. I don't think I've ever seen the same employee twice. Making me wonder if the management is tough to work under. Anyway the ice cream is delicious, you can create your own or pick one of their custom creations all of which are delicious. They also offer ice cream cakes, and ice cream cupcakes if I am not mistaken. The prices are a bit expensive however if I had to choose between a $5 pint of Ben and Jerry's from 7/11 or a pricier pint from cold stone i would definitely choose cold stone. Their in store made ice cream and custom mix ins are a fun experience. read more

AVOID this place and go somewhere else. First off the girl left the open sign off when the place closes at 9. I got there around 823pm. Then she left the doors locked and disappeared for a while. I called twice and there was no answer. Secondly she had no idea what she was doing. She left about half the ice cream out of the cup. She could've got a bigger cup but ended up throwing half away. Lastly she had the worst customer service I've seen in a while. She was giving me and attitude and slammed the utensils down on the counter before I left. I usually don't have any issues when I come to Coldstone, but this time was a different story. Talk about a confusing and frustrating experience. I specifically came here because I had a coupon for buy one "Love-It" sized ice cream, get one free. My sister also had a $10 gift card. So in total, we bought three ice creams: Two "Love-It" sizes (hence the coupon) and one "Like-It" size. The cashier rang up the total and said it was $16. I thought that was high, considering we had a coupon, so I asked "Is that with the coupon already added?" and he goes "No, I'll ring it up right now." So then the total drops down to $11.87. My sister handed him her $10 gift card. He slid the card and the total still said $11.87. I obviously knew the new total should only be like $1.87, but the cashier didn't say anything and just stared at us. So then my mom tries to hand him a $20 cause the register still says $11.87 and I say, "No, it should only be $1.87" and the guy still just stares at me. So I ask him to clarify the new total and he goes "it says right there" and the total still hasn't changed. By that time I'm extremely frustrated and tell him that it should only be $1.87 not $11.87 and he just rolls his eyes at me. So I hand him $2 and he snatches it from me and gives me my change. I don't think I should be treated with disrespect when he was the one who didn't have the correct total showing. If you want someone to pay $1.87, you shouldn't have $11.87 on the register.
