We were thrilled to see a lot of high school students enjoying ice cream while actually hanging out with their friends versus being on their phones. We knew it was a good location with the long lines. It was our "server's" first solo night. She was so nervous but incredibly sweet. This place used to be my favorite childhood ice cream spot. I haven't come here in months in the one time I decided to come the ice cream was half melted in behind the glass on top of that it felt like a sauna inside. And to add onto that, the workers were super slow. I could've given birth the five kids and traveled the Earth five times before I got my ice cream. I ordered the chocolate devotion which has fudge brownie and chocolate chips and I only got chocolate chips and chocolate ice cream what a waste of almost $20 do not come back or you are wasting your money. My only complaint is the person working had a grumpy personality and wasn't very helpful with my request to use an app called Upside that was advertising Coldstone. The ambiance is clean and simple. It is what it is. Just don't understand why they don't have waffles cones. The waffle bowls were totally old and so hard you might break your teeth on it. The service was good, so I won't knock the employees. The ice cream was standard. I just think the portions are ridiculously big at Cold Stone's in general. It's definitely something you'd have to share with someone or feed yourself to diabetes. Maybe it was an off night, but it had a weird musty smell inside and there were flies everywhere. I ordered something that I thought was supposed to be Reese's, but the peanut butter tasted very weird and the ice cream was freezer burned, from what it tasted like. This was my only visit since I moved here in 2005 and will not ever return. I would rather just pick something up from the store and make my own. read more

We have been 4 times now since we have moved here last year (2016) in April. The shop is small and located between the party shop and Vietnamese restaurant in the same plaza with Michael's and Lane Bryant. The staff has always been friendly. Due to its size it has about 8 or so tables indoors but plenty of outdoor seating as well. Plenty of flavors to choose from, including 3-4 non-dairy choices. You pick your flavor, then they mix in your toppings. You can even get it made in pints and half-gallons of any mix you want to take home. Fun for kids to watch, have never had a bad flavor ice cream, or a bad experience. It's good quality, expect to pay more than Dairy Queen, it tastes far better. read more

Cold Stone is always delicious and this one is no exception. There usually is a little bit of a line whenever I visit, but what do you expect when it's the only good ice cream shop in Jacksonville? The longest I've waited was 20 minutes for my "like it". The other day a friend and I got there about 5 minutes before they closed and they already had the closed sign up and the doors locked. We screamed through the door that it wasn't 10 p.m. yet and the workers reluctantly opened the door.
