The only thing we thought would have been better is to serve the Cafe Bombom in a glass cup/glass. Presentation sometimes is important and serving it in a plastic cup kinda takes away from it. The tres leche cake was good, the guava pastry was not. Lacked the filling and then it was wrapped in plastic so the humidity made it most. I finally just told her to wipe her hands on my pants because we didn't have anything else. Then I went looking for utensils to make things a little less messy and found only one fork, so my daughter and I shared it. I know these seem like small things, but my family owned a restaurant growing up, so I also know how much the little moments shape whether someone feels cared for. We live in an area with a lot of young families, and even small gestures like having napkins stocked, keeping utensils available, or offering a paper towel when someone is clearly juggling little kids can make people feel genuinely welcomed.
