What I like about Cold Stone is that you can design your treat from a selection of ice creams, toppings and cones. A clerk hand mixes your chosen ingredients. I stopped by after craving some ice cream early afternoon. The clerk was friendly and patient as I pondered the perfect combination. I was excited to see coffee ice cream, which is how I prefer my coffee. I settled on Heath Bars to mix with my coffee ice cream. What a delicious combination! The service was quick, but I was the only one in the shop. I ate inside listening to the motors on the freezers, which were very loud and annoying. I lost a game so I treated my friend to ice cream. Im glad they chose ColdStone because I haven't had it in years & honestly forgot how good it was lol. It's your typical ice cream shop but always cozy and has a welcoming atmosphere. There were two young ladies working who were so nice! Food: seriously the best ice cream! I consistently get the Mud Pie Mojo + Reese's and don't deter much from this order. It's SO good. It is expensive. I spend almost $7 on a medium cup. I could get 2 half gallons for that price at the store. Service: Service is good! They're speedy as they can be. When it's busy it can be a bit of a wait with only 2 workers but they try their best. Ambiance: their outdoor seating needs to be improved immediately. There's 2 tables and maybe 4 chairs outside total. I think more people would enjoy eating outdoors if there was more space. Inside there's only 2, maybe 3 tables, but it can get crowded and loud with a line. Please invest in outdoor furniture! Lock it if you have to, but the space really needs it. read more

Hadn't been to a Cold Stone in years but I noticed they were still open after an evening movie (yay for being open until 10pm on weekends!) and told my husband that we should stop in. My husband ordered the exact same thing he used to from over a decade ago when we were first dating so I'm guessing the menu hasn't changed much. I also went back to my usual Oreo Overload option so I guess I haven't changed much either. Service was very basic, not really greeted or guided and no performance of making our treats but he made our ice-cream quickly and got us on our way. I was pleased to learn that Cold Stone Creamery offers non-dairy ice cream. Although they only have chocolate, which was acceptable, the service left much to be desired. The gentleman at the counter hurried me through my order, gave minimal explanation about adding toppings, and rushed me to pay. Despite the shop and bathrooms being clean and neat, I've visited three times, and each time the customer service was just as poor as the first. So, Saturday June 25th my mom & I decided to get ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery. We, haven't been to Cold Stone Creamery in a long while. Cold Stone Creamery is in the Trader's Point area, an area that used to be booming, but AMC movie theater as well as pizza restaurant Monical's are still in the Trader's Point area keep it alive. Walking into the Cold Stone Creamery building there are no stairs, small patio seating area outside, as well as small seating area inside. Once, inside the ice cream shop it smells so freaking good. Like, just by smelling all the delicious sweet treats you'll probably gain 10lbs. Ha! I ordered my favorite which was the delicious chocolate devotion it's made with chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips, and hot fudge. It was so gooey, chocolaty, and just delicious for a chocolate lover. My mom had a plain cheesecake cake ice in a dish, that was sweet, tasted just like a cheesecake, and also delicious. Nonetheless, if you're in the Trader's Point area make sure you checkout Cold Stone Creamery for some delicious sweet treats. read more

The ambiance was so unwelcoming and I felt discriminated against, especially when the guy working behind the counter cross contaminated me and my finances ice cream and then proceeded to slide our change to us on the counter instead of handing it to us. After lunch, my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to ice cream for dessert. Fortunately, there was a Cold Stone Creamery two doors away! I usually don't go to chain restaurants for ice cream, but since we were mere feet away, it seemed okay to give the place a try. The entrance has some small tables between the door and the order counter. Where the line begins is a nice display board that lists the favorite combinations along with ingredients and photos. That sure helped! The ice cream is displayed in stainless steel bins instead of the round paper cooler/barrels that I've seen at most homemade shops. What I liked was that when I placed my order for the Banana Caramel Crunch, the server grabbed a scoop and smashed it on a chilled prep surface, then proceeded to add the chopped banana, drizzle the caramel and add some crunchy stuff (???) before folding it together to mix it up....right there in front of me! I went with the smaller size in a cup and it was really good. My wife went with the Strawberry Blonde option and liked having real strawberries added to the base ice cream, graham cracker, caramel, and whipped cream. She thought it her favorite ice cream ever from a chain...another league than DQ (and of course, another price range.) Sure, you can have ice cream at home, but this was really good and creamy in texture and the flavor combos make me think I should put a little bit more effort into treating myself to the sweet things in life. Has a former employee (not this location) cold stone is based on huge amount of customer engagement and going above which they did not do at all. It was more here's your ice cream and get out. From working the job for 5+years that are also shorting you on ice cream for sure. I would go to a different location then this one. I come in here often and realized I haven't reviewed this place. I love ice cream and because its close to home its my go to spot when there isnt any ice cream in the house. I love the variety of things to mix in the ice cream. But my favorite is banana carmel crunch but I try to branch out every now and then. The usual mix-in process was much shorter than normal and there were very large pieces of Oreo and brownies in our bowls because they hadn't been mixed like normal. The employees were very patient with me, as a Cold Stone Creamery amateur, today and very helpful and friendly! This one could use more seating, though. I enjoyed watching them mix my ice cream sensation up - kudos to them because I would not want to hand mix all that all day long! And the ice cream was sinfully delicious for a chain!!! I hadn't been to Cold Stone in years, but have recently been on an ice cream kick that's had me stopping here a few times in the past month. I love Cold Stone ice cream, but this location is just very hit or miss. Each time I've went, I've been waited on by the same woman who seems to be confused about the amount of ice cream/toppings that go in each serving size, even though I ordered one of their signature flavors. The first two times my Gotta Have It container was barely filled and there seemed to be more toppings than ice cream. Yesterday the toppings were non-existent and she mixed so much ice cream that it barely fit in the container. The employee was struggling to put the lid on. When I finally tried my apple pie ice cream, there was very little apple filling and very little pie crust. If I have another craving for Cold Stone, I'll probably go out of my way to stop at another location. read more

Terrible service. Not the first time so figured I'd write a review for them. Called in to buy about 50 gift cards as a door gift for a kids birthday event. I was helping a friend with her daughter's first year birthday. Called in up front to check if they have any gift cards for me to purchase. They said there is 15 gift cards available. I said I will be there shortly to purchase them. We were running short of time so figured I'd get as many they have available then try my luck at a Traders point in a different location. Drove to the store just for this and was there within 15 minutes after my call only to be told they DON'T have any. I was definitely shocked and told them that I had just called and etc. The Asian lady (owner) mentioned she looked at the wrong pile of unusable card but said she doesn't have not a single one to purchase. I was pretty upset and the best part she didn't even think it was a big deal. Didn't offer a way to make it up to the unnecessary trip that I just took. This place makes me sad. I actually did a mega research project on Cold Stone once for a marketing class and I think that their home office would be appalled at this store. I first fell in love with Cold Stone in Evansville, where I went to school. The lines were always long, but it was always worth it as the store smelled amazing, the treats were perfect, and the friendly staff greeted every customer and sang for their tips. Every single time I've been to this store over the past five years, I've been dissapointed. Their staff sucks, they don't say "welcome to cold stone" They seem depressed and angry with their lives. The place is always a mess, dirty, and no one ever cleans the floor or tables. It's really sad because Trader's Point is a great area with a lot of great restaurants where a place like this could make an absolute killing, epsecially with the Movie Theatre right there. They need a better manager and bad. In the past, I thought maybe it was just an off night, or maybe they just need a little staff turnover, but it never changes. Granted, working at a place that expects you to be happy 24/7 isn't for everyone, but the rest of us put a smile on our face at our jobs, so deal with it! I'm paying you for my ice cream and for a good experience. The past few times, I haven't even left a tip because no one deserved it. And even if you give them a tip, they don't even say thank you. After all this time, I don't even feel like the ice cream tastes as good as it used to. But maybe it's just the dirty tables and sorrowfull staff that leaves a sour taste in my mouth. read more

we have ordered multiple cakes from here and every time something is wrong. This time, the cake was literally slanted and we were told that the chocolate gnocchi was the cause of the cake being slanted. It doesn't make sense that a $40 cake shouldn't be able to stand normally. When we told the manager about this, she argued and chuckled and then simply offered a tiny cup of ice cream which she just threw sprinkles in and did not even ask what we wanted. when we get ice cream from this location, the scoops are noticeably less generous than other locations.
