When there is a line of over 20 people and we all have to wait over a half hour to get served with only 2 employees in the store, with 2 other employees in the back not helping up front at all and then orders are getting made wrong, it makes me rethink about coming there again, that was the worse service I've ever had there. Schedule more employees to work on the weekends, because next time I'll just walk out and not come back, especially since I come there usually twice a week and now that's gonna change as well. read more

With a steady amount of people, the 3 employees working managed to get people througu the line smoothly. Elias did a terrific job making my mud pie mojo, making sure to clarify my substitution. With great conversation as my ice cream was being mixed up, he made my day with his energetic personality and ensuring my experience was a great one. With this visit being a great one, we will make sure to stop in more frequently compared to once a year. this was my first time at cold stone & I was super dissappointed the service was so rude and they messed up my daughters order then charged me for all 3 icecreams. i specifically asked for no chocolate in the birthday cake ice cream and asked if they could do it and was told yes. then I get it and it has chocolate brownie all blended in it, my daughter doesn't not eat chocolate and tried to be nice and couldn't do it she took one small little bite . when i asked for another the guy was super rude telling me chocolate and brownie is different. then proceeeded to charge for all 3 and didn't fix the issue fully instead they gave my daughter plain vanilla ice cream no sprinkles ( definitely not birthday cake ) and charged me and was super rude about it. Received an email from Cold Stone that for a limited time, they are offering Waffle Ice Cream taco starting on Monday. I went to this location on Monday and they told me that no one told them they were supposed to start selling tacos on Monday and will start selling them on Tuesday. The worker told me that they've had customers come in all day asking for the taco. Went to Cold stone again today (Sunday) to order the taco. Of course they don't have it again today. This cold stone location is poorly managed. They don't have the right supplies, employees don't care. Customer service is horrible. read more

Pretty standard Cold Stone Creamery location. Don't have too much to add to about it. It's in a strip-mall with lots of excess parking around, so you won't have to worry about fighting to get a good spot to visit this location. Employee seemed bored, but she wasn't rude in any manner. She did a good job mixing the ice cream with the toppings, and she was pretty efficient too. She seemed to get people through the line pretty well, and there wasn't any huge line despite her being the only employee in the store. Ice cream was delicious. Their new Truffle Fudge creation is really good. Would definitely get it again. I'm sure the calories are insane, but still, it's good, super-creamy ice cream. I was surprised by the price, though. Their smallest cup size was over $5. That could definitely get expensive quickly if you're hoping to eat with a family or have the larger sizes. read more

No complaints on the service as the two young men who waited on us were very pleasant. It's the exterior of the facility that we feel led to bring attention to. The parking lot was littered with trash. It was disgusting. We were on a mini vacation and since it was so hot, thought we'd get some ice cream. We were working hard today and decided to get ice-cream at 9:50 pm. We looked up the time on google and it said it closed at 11 pm so we decided to go to Cold Stone. Unfortunately when we got there (10:05 pm) the doors were locked (said they closed at 11 pm on their door too) and the employees were cleaning, watching us and they didn't move. My boyfriend and I went to this location at 8:15 PM. Their website states that they close at 10 PM, but they had already done the closing procedure. Everything was put away it was hard for them to make our ice cream. They explained to us that our ice cream would be a little bit soft due to the fact that their counter was not cold anymore. My ice cream was not mixed well with the toppings. They were also out of cones for the night which is what we were looking forward to the most. It was also very overpriced for two small ice cream. VERY SAD & DISGUSTING/DISRESPECTFUL. Tried ordering 2 custom Ice Cream Cakes Online for a birthday. We are from out of state & was highly recommended to get them from here. Something was wrong with the online ordering & said to try another location. Thought it would be another one around the Quad Cities. It was actually up by a Coralville I believe it was called. Waited a day to try and order again online because we know things happen. Still didn't work. We decided to drive to Cold Stone in Davenport & place the order in person since we still had about a week before we would need the 2 small cakes. The way they spoke to my 11 year old daughter who was trying to get a special cake for her dad was absolutely disgusting and uncalled for. They treated her like she was more of a problem than a paying customer who had picked out the perfect kind of cake her dad would love. They had no idea she was with me, would not get me or acknowledge who the manager was. I've left a few voicemails with no response. I bought 10 $10 gift cards 15 minutes prior to this happening and politely left them on the counter and said whoever wants these can have them. How do you allow employees to treat others that way ,especially a child who was excited to do something nice for her dad? My husband didn't get a cake for his birthday ,which , is fine but a call back or something would have been nice. We are business owners ourselves & know the quality of work employees are giving now a days but I will run all my businesses myself before I would allow anyone to be treated the way our daughter was. You could see how instantly deflated she became when she was spoken too. It stinks because we wanted to try it before we left on July 15th but I left $100 worth of gift cards and won't spend anymore when I can't get a courtesy call back. Don't ever forget where you came from and that you were 11 years old also at one time & probably excited to do something nice for one of your parents, family or a friend. I am very dissapointed in this business. I love coldstone, however the service at our location has been less than acceptable. I went to Coldstone yesterday night, and Elias was the only one working! There were three employees and Elias was the only one working. He took care of the rush completely by himself, and many of the customers questioned why he was alone. As it so happens, his other 2 coworkers were in the back fooling around and being unproductive. I asked for the others' names and will be emailing HR later on. Went to the Davenport store tonight and had walked in at 754 and was asked by a gentleman behind the counter with ice cream in his hand to go read the sign on the door, I proceeded to walk outside to read the sign and it read that we are not accepting customers after 750pm, I then asked the gentleman, so do you want my business? He looked at me and then I walked away getting back into my car. The sign added to this post was not there when I had walked in and the sign that I read was no longer there. very unprofessional. I will not be visiting this store anymore due to there unprofessionalism and rudeness manners. it's crazy to think that they were still serving people who were waiting in line but not me Because I was 4 minutes late. i have never seen this happen before, I hope that management and the franchise owner can address this issue so everyone can be happy! read more

For delivery, Ordered the "birthday cake ice cream" and added another brownie for an additional cost. The delivery was quick (not sure if a 20% tip makes a difference). Anyway, the chocolate dipped waffle bowl and the ice cream were both delicious and the serving size for one was actually enough for TWO ice cream aficionados! However the extra brownie ordered was incognito, except for a few minuscule chunks. Fine except for the "extra few dollars" charged. Maybe the proprietor did not see the "add ones" section on the ordering website? The mystery of the missing brownie...hoping it was unexpectedly included in another order.
