We wanted black flagstone, they said there is not actual black flagstone, but assured us they could stain and seal brown stone and it would have a lifetime warranty, and they would absolutely back up that warranty. It lasted maybe 60 days, they have been back out at least 3 times in the last 11 months to "correct" it. Each time was a major inconvenience with out dogs, but we went with it. They sprayed solution on other stones which are now affected as well and the black stain has chipped off or come off on most all of the stones. They keep blaming Sherwin Williams for the issues, saying they told them this would work (they had never done it before). Now their "solution" is that we buy new stones that we find ourselves, and they will provide the labor to change them out. I said no way are we paying more money after a year of this constant construction, unkept promises, countless hours of communication, waiting for weeks for them to come back for repairs, when they refuse to back their own warranty. I have contacted Neighborly/Grounds Guys Corporate twice with no response yet. I will continue contacting them until we get resolution on this, as they definitely over promised what they were capable of doing, refuse to back their own warranty and have walked away from the project unless we want to spend MORE MONEY on our own to replace the stones. I have 11 months of phone calls, text messages and emails to show that we have pursued a permanent solution to the $22,000.00 mess Grounds Guys Cedar Creek Lake has left us with, with no resolution at all.
