If I could give more stars to this company I would!!! I needed a new kitchen faucet to replace my old one that was older, outdated, and breaking off pieces of metal on the inside of it . I called Colburn yesterday 11/20 and they said that they could come by in the morning. The lady who answered the phone was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Today, 11/21 John came by my house right at the estimated time. He was knowledgeable and efficient. Right away I noticed he had on shoe covers! As a family with kids we do not wear shoes in our house. So when John showed up already respecting the home we live in by wearing shoe covers I was really won over. The whole thing took approximately 30 minutes. He answered all of my questions. And showed me how to operate my new faucet as well as gave me helpful advice to keep my other related appliances in tip top shape. Also HUGE POINTS for leaving everything clean afterwards and no mess. I was really impressed that he left the area he was working on as clean as before he came in. I just bought a house and moved to Las Vegas in December. I had high water bills and not knowing who to contact I decided to get several estimates. The first two companies wanted to replace the main water line without doing much to find the leak. The estimates were staggering. I saw the reviews for Colburn Enterprises on Yelp and called to see if they could come out for an estimate. John came within a few hours of my call. I expected him to do what the others had done, but he immediately looked for and located the leak. Within two hours he had fixed the leak. John, the owner and his wife Amber are fantastic. They are a small family owned business and focus on quality and making sure customers are more than satisfied. I had a water softener which was not too old, stop working, and John came out to look through the system. Initially I was told that it might need a Re-Bed, which would have been a quite costly endeavor, but when JOhn looked over the stamps and dates on the system, he realized that wouldn't be the issue at all. He finally realized that there was a broken seal in one of the valves, and replaced this one. The real value of the service came in when he finished. He asked if there were any questions I would like to know about the system and he took the time to walk me through everything important on the system. He answered any questions I had and let me know about the expectations for the full cycle. What a great resource, since there isn't much you can find online to read about to educate the homeowner about their systems. Services are reasonable priced and they are HONEST. They did not try to sell us unnecessary parts or services and they back up their work as well. Before Colburn, we had another plumber company (they advertise on the fwy billboards ("Yes, they can rip you off") come in to give an estimate.. What they quoted was 200% more expensive then what Colburn worked on for us. I called the office and asked why they are so expensive. The person on the phone told us that, "We are the best".... Well, I have to respond, "Best at ripping us off!" and hung up the phone up. Let's just say we will definitely use Colburn Enterprises again and again. read more

This is the true definition of a hard working, family-owned business dedicated to doing quality work at a fair price. John gave me a rough estimated of the 3 projects I needed completed in a home I recently purchased. All work was completed right in line with his estimates which also happened to be much lower than other bids I received. More importantly, John was professional, courteous and was sure all my questions/concerns were addressed with each project he completed. In addition, he went above and beyond to show me a quick fix for an additional minor issue I was having with my shower faucets. He not only fixed it, but walked me through how he was fixing it in the event I faced a similar problem in the future. Just bought a house with a water purification system installed. I'm so glad Colburn puts their phone number on their equipment so we didn't have to go searching for it. I called to schedule a service appointment, got an appointment right away. The gentleman who came out was right on time, very friendly and informative. ALL I wanted was my RO filters changed....I have used this company since 1997 for all my plumbing needs when I moved into a new home I bought my water softener and RS from them as they supply all the parts and filters. Had them come out to change my filters and replace a faucet in March was told they no longer can get filters for the RO. I found the filters online while John was still there he said just call when they come in and he will come replace them. Called for an appointment and was told it would be $130 not the normal $100 because I supplied the filters they no longer carry. I had to cancel my appointment due to work when I tried to get another appointment they blocked my phone number. I just needed my filters changed and water softener serviced!!!!! Very bad customer service! Called for service yesterday (Sunday) left msg to call me... No call. Called Monday about 9am, ask for emergency service. Was told they will call me back.. No call.. About hour later called again and was given the same answer. Now is 2pm and still no call back! I have a huge problem with water softener which was bought and installed by them, and that's why I am not calling anyone else ( so far). Looks to me the lady on the phone doesn't care much about business ! Update: Service man came over after 5pm and informed me, that that is the time he had schedule for! So .... If Amber told me this (or call me), there wouldn't be a problem. He, however did a great job flushing all my plumbing, which was all clogged after water softener filter bursted. Came out to check my water softener. Told me that the unit is disposable and not worth repairing. I was charged $90 for the 15 min it took to diagnose and tell me that. So now the new water softener will just be an extra $90. Don't recommend. read more

I called about getting a leaky valve on my water softener fixed, and the wonderful lady on the phone had me text pictures to her so they could properly diagnose what needed to be fixed. She told me someone would be at my house first thing in the morning to fix it. The next morning, the technician (Jeremy) showed up and was very professional. On June 3rd, I texted the phone number from the answering machine to ask if they could replace the resin in a Culligan water softener system and the person texted back saying, "We can replace the resin but if anything else is wrong with the system we can not fix it as we cannot get the parts". I asked for the price and how long it would take and they replied "$400 we do it all in one day". So on June 5th, I set up an appointment over the phone for an 8am appointment on June 12th and also informed the person I had been texting that I had an appointment scheduled. At 7:41am on June 12th the day of the scheduled appointment, I get a text saying they cannot change the resin because Culligan would have to do it, but then they also offered another company that might be able to do it, "H2O to go". This company is very unprofessional and inconsiderate of people's time. Letting a customer know less than 20 minutes before an appointment that you are unable to perform the job is unacceptable, especially since they had all the relevant information and they just chose not to use it. This company is either inexperienced with water softener units or simply did not want to replace the resin for me since they indicate Culligan would have to do it, but then they also recommended another company to perform the job. read more

My water heater needed to be replaced and thankfully it wasn't an emergency so I was able to shop around & get bids. I ended up getting estimates from 15 different companies which took a couple days as a few of the companies frustratingly insisted on coming out to my house first to give me an estimate even though I gave them all the info needed over the phone or via email/text message in order to give me an accurate estimate. The estimates ranged all over the place from as high as $2200 (Plumbing Kings) to the low end of $1200 (Colburn) to replace & install my high-recovery model (a model that costs more) water heater. Side Note: all the companies that insisted on coming to my house to give me an estimate were the ones that ended up being on the higher $$ range of the estimates and all of them tried to close me on doing the job right then and there. So any company that insists on doing an on-site estimate does so more as a sale closing technique than for actually providing an estimate in my opinion. Colburn was great from the get-go. Communication with the office to get an estimate was very responsive and thorough and there was no pressure. Kerry asked me to text pics of the current water heater set-up and was prompt about getting back to me with an estimate. After I got all my estimates and made my decision to go with Colburn, I texted Kerry back to schedule to the service appt & was set for a 10am-12pm arrival. Received confirmation text messages & a call from Kerry to confirm the appt time and Colburn showed up right on time at 10am. Marc, the service technician doing the removal of the old unit and installation of the new one, was fantastic! It was clear he had lots of experience and he was professional, thorough and answered all my questions. When the bill came...no surprises, exactly as originally estimated. Colburn is now my #1 choice should any other plumbing issues arise in my home and recommend them without hesitation.
