When Eric comes to your house you need to remember two things. First, don't offer him your tap water, he won't drink it. Second, he wants your undivided attention so he can explain why you are making a smart decision. In general, I am not a fan of in-home sales presentations but Eric will show you things that you didn't, but need, to know. You might already be sold on the concept, let him do his presentation anyway, he will appreciate it. Even if you don't buy into all the medical consequences and particle test demonstrations,which are are the only real way to help you visualize the problem, the system will prevent hard water damage to your appliances as well. That alone will save you money and aggravation in the long run. Most importantly, you will see and taste the difference in your water. Your showers will be better, the hard water stains disappear and you will know that the water you, and your family is drinking, is safe. A friend of mine used to work at the Clark County Medical Examiners office. He told me that he could always tell the difference between a lifelong Vegas resident and others because of the green film in the chest cavity. This guy is a tough as they come and won't touch the water coming out of the tap. Finally, if you have questions, Eric is just as responsive after the sale as he is before. It has been over 6 months since H2O to go installed our system. Being it was the first water system we've ever had, we wanted to give some time to see how it was overall, instead of giving a review while we were still in the honeymoon stage with this installation. I can say that the system is very simple to maintain. We go through the salt in about 3 to 4 months, but H2O to go delivers and will even fill your system with the salt, charging currently about $6 per 50-pound bag (system takes 3 bags) and for $8.50 a bag will fill the system for you. I will say don't use the pellet salt and for sure don't mix the pellets with the actual salt. I've tried both and the non-pellet salt is far superior but is hard to find in stores, but the delivery by H2O makes that a non-issue. As for the water, it took us a while to get used to the feeling of soft water, it feels slick on the skin like you didn't get the soap off, but now we feel the difference when we go other places (hotels, family) that don't have a system, and we like the clean feel. Finally, and probably more important, is the taste of the water from their system. The wife is very particular about the taste of her water from the tap and refuses to drink it. However, that has changed and she easily drinks the water from the system at the sink and from the refriderator, including the ice. We can say that although close, the water we have is better than the water from a Costco Kirkland bottle of water. We haven't bought a case of water from Costco except when we go on a week trip away from home. I have to say it is great tasting water (and no, I don't know any of the staff at H2O personally, not their personal friends or family :-). We are truly impressed with the service and the taste/feel of the water. They even send notification when it is time to change the filters for the fresh drinking water. So far, so great. read more
