It costs 532 dollars and that is with the 10% military discount. Overcharge? Absolutely!! I was unable to stop the water flow from the bathroom sink so I went with them one time, but that's it. I had asked them if the house shut off valve was in the laundry room on top of the water heater. The next day I get a call from a different person at the company talking about how a water pressure test was done and how high it was without being told by the plumber or showed any proof that this test was completed or the results. I get sent an email with all these estimates that I didn't ask for except for maybe a toilet issue, but don't have any leaks. My GE water heater is 26 yrs old, my microwave is signature ward 40+ yrs old, washing and drying machine over 25 maybe 30 yrs old, garage freezer is over 25+ yrs old, and all these appliances still work. The point is they sent me an almost 3000 dollar estimate for my water heater which I did not ask for. Their estimate is just a total without break down of charges between labor, parts, and how long the projects will take to complete. They said that their warranty for repairs might become invalid because of "high water pressure in the house." Then please explain how I have all these long lasting appliances that still work.
