Rooms are very clean and furnished with queen or king size beds, table and chair, chest, futon/sofa, flat screen TV, and refrigerator. We stopped around 10:30 PM and there was no staff, but there was a number on the door to call so we did. Amy answered the phone, described rooms, and quoted us a very reasonable price, then came over to let us in. She gave us a tour of the public areas of the hotel including the kitchen - rooms include continental breakfast from 5-10:30 AM. Coffee all day. Highly recommend this place.

However, I wanted to stay somewhere with real character, and the Angoria completely won me over. The rooms, while compact like a traditional motel room, are beautifully renovated, spotless, and feature very comfortable beds. The staff was warm and friendly, making our group feel welcome despite us being a bit noisy at the bar and pool. Another nice touch: while the bar officially closes at 10:00 PM, the bartender has the discretion to keep it open until midnight if guests are enjoying the bar and pool area. Speaking of the pool, it is a bit smaller than it appears online, but that wasn't an issue for us since we didn't end up swimming. A couple of quick heads-up for future guests: Road Noise: Traffic on Bryant and Beauregard can get loud in the evenings, but fortunately, the hotel provides earplugs to help block it out. EV Charging: Avoid the on-site ChargePoint charger unless absolutely necessary. It cost $27 for just 2 hours for a fraction of a full charge--way overpriced! Management should really consider renegotiating rates or switching providers. The charger issue didn't ruin my experience. My buddies and I had a fantastic stay, and I would definitely stay at the Angoria again!

I was told only some king-size bedrooms come with a microwave,they did not have any other king-size beds available so we moved to a room with 2 queens not very happy but it did have a microwave. The room did not have any empty plugs so we had to ask management for an adapter. There is NO ice machine. They use a cooler and fill it with ice ( very unsanitary). The breakfast consists of bagels and muffins. If you want something warm you pay extra. The room was clean the bed was comfortable,but Not worth $155 + tax about $185 total.I saw a $100 charge on my account. They put a hold on your card.I called tonight to ask how long it would take to be released and was told it could take 4 days. Also was told I could be charged $5 for a make up stain on a wash cloth if it doesn't come off. UNBELIEVABLE.

You have the option of renting one room at a time or the whole thing, depending on how large of a group you have. Each has its own bathroom and access to the common living area (which is super cozy and great for just hanging out- we escaped a rainstorm in here our first night!) The Chaparrel Ranch has free range chickens and ducks as well as a pen of goats. You may also encounter the steer that roam the surrounding pastures.
