They love their business, and it reflects in the joy of their customers and the energy and overall vibe of the place. There is nothing else like it for hundreds of miles. Truth be told: West Texas can be a very cold and unforgiving environment for vintage entertainment activities, such as RollerRinks and Game Arcades -- the region is hard on businesses that generally thrive and boom in an urban environment. Skateland offers both Skating and Arcading, and unlike the oil booms in this part of the world, it ain't going nowhere. It's an honor and privilege to see a place like Skateland thrive, survive, and dominate its 21st century digital landscape.

They…read morehave a small area sectioned off for the little ones learning to skate, so they can learn and be safe from the big "kids." All of the arcade games work, not many available though. There is a small pool table & a snack bar. They have a projector that displays the Spotify playlist. You can request music as well. You can have private/semi-private parties. One draw back to visiting Skateland on a Friday night is the LINE waiting to get in is a mile long. Most of the kids in line get dropped off an HOUR BEFORE doors open! The owners Cody & Amanda have some older kids to help out with security but some of these kids that get dropped off need a good old fashioned butt whoopin! Other than the occasional little teenie bopper jerk it's a fun place to hang out. The owners have a lot on their plate and could use help keeping kids in check. If you see something that is out of line or kids getting out of hand call them out on it or let Cody & Amanda know so they can have the kids removed.

We all know San Angelo is the type of town that you find businesses by word-of-mouth and this is how I found her. But what if I was new? I'd never have found this great business!! Literally we drove up and down North Chadbourne looking for this business! The brick and mortar business is located in historic downtown San Angelo down the block from the old Coca Cola building and caddy-corner from Dix Key Shop. We showed up early last Friday morning and she set up a demo for us for the colors we wanted, demonstrated the satin materials as well as the organza. We absolutely fell in love with the organza! classy, elegant and most of all REASONABLE PRICES!!!! We are signing a contract with her for our wedding and are super excited about the overlays and chair sashes we are renting for her, it will break up all the "white" in the hotel's tablecloths and white bridal hydrangeas in my centerpieces! She also has lots of other items for rental, vases, pillars, chairs, etc. Everything is separated by color, she has some already displayed so that you can easily view the colors available in the actual materials you would be renting. Apparently if you also need decorator services they can go out there and decorate the space and let your family rest and relax while they beautify your space. If you are planning a party in the area, come check them out. I was given an estimate a copy was made for reference and we are going to secure a contract. All is good in the world (sigh of relief...)
