We had a sick pet who accidentally ruined some new carpet we just had installed, but COIT was able to come out within a few days and completely got rid of the stains and smells. They even did a scotch guard treatment to help with any (hopefully none) future accidents, and was very reasonably priced. They were quick and efficient and did a great job! I highly recommend them! read more

He did an excellent job, cleaning out the air ducts in my house I'm pretty sure they had never ever been clean before, so it was weirdly satisfying to hear all of the evil being removed as it all got sucked out of the vent The air from the vents has smelled fresher ever since read more

Coit did an excellent job cleaning our carpets and upholstery after we found mice droppings all over our condo. Mark was very responsive and easy to deal with. The best part is they were available on very short notice as we needed to get the place cleaned out before winter break. read more

I called COIT for carpet and tile cleaning and sanitation after we had a medical emergency at our home. They knew exactly what was needed. The cleaner called ahead to confirm arrival time and then arrived exactly when he said he would. It's a small thing but indicates how respectful he was about my time. He had all the equipment and supplies needed to isolate the area so nothing spread out of the room. In the end, all evidence was removed, the tile and grout looked like new, and the carpet was restored to its original state. I recommend them wholeheartedly. read more

Excellent service, very timely response and very professional. My review needs at least 85 characters so I am writing this sentence.

This was my first time using COIT and they were great! I requested a quote online, I was contacted within hours, I scheduled an appointment time and the representative arrived right on time. I had a chair cleaned and the granite countertop on my outdoor BBQ sealed. The work was done quickly and I am happy with how everything looks. I didn't price shop around so I don't know if COIT's pricing is high or low compared to other companies that offer this service but I did think their pricing was fair. read more

COIT Cleaning and Restoration - Seal your outdoor granite before it cracks! - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Sparks, Nevada

My aging and ill cousin was living in horrible conditions and when I found that out, I hunted for someone who would go clean his condo. The first cleaning crew I hired from Yelp showed up and refused to do the job without even contacting me. I was furious when I found out and really raked them over the coals. My cousin needed to be in a clean environment and they left him in squaller even though I was very clear when booking the appointment that the condo was beyond awful and unlivable. After chewing out (Angel) for not doing the job as promised and not contacting me to tell me they didn't do it (I found out from my cousin), I called COIT. When they found out what happened and that my cousin was living in those conditions, they squeezed in a same day appointment and took good care of him. I am forever indebted to them for this and they have my deepest respect and gratitude. My cousin passed away in December, but at least he died with dignity in his clean condo thanks to COIT. read more

Mixed feelings about this company. We had a house fire that caused a bunch of smoke damage- luckily no structural damage. Basically this means we needed the entire house to be cleaned by hand. It took almost a month to complete the job. Pros: the people were great. Very friendly and understanding of my situation. They also started very quickly. The same day I called my insurance, coit called me and setup a work schedule. Cons: horrible with communication. Never once did they tell me what was happening next, or when I would expect my cleaning back. I had to call every day to ask about next steps. I was completely confused about how to get items fixed or returned, and never got much of an answer. In the beginning, when I didn't hear from them they said they were waiting for my insurance to accept something on their side. No one ever told me - if they had, I could have called and gotten things moving. This delayed everything by a week. I had a baby on the way, I needed this wrapped up asap. I also asked for them to prioritize the baby items, they said they would, but I didn't get them back for about a month, AFTER my other items. They didn't listen. I also had a few items they cleaned with a washing machine instead of dry cleaning - I then had to work with them to get these items reimbursed. So EXTRA work for me outside my claim. They also used a new chemical, vaportech SOS, for the first time, and none of them were trained on if it was safe for a pregnant person. I had to call the company to find out. Finally, one of the crews that cleaned inside, did not clean up after themselves. The wood floor was muddy when they left, I had to clean it. read more

The roof and drain pipe leaked through my condo and after a roofer checked, my management company hired Coit to dry and remove the wall and ceiling affected by the leaks. Percy Hernandez and his great crew did a fabulous job, they were professional and efficient. The tear down and drying time was only 3 working days (fortunately there was no asbestos.) They left the place clean and covered the open area on my wall with plastic. Now I have to wait for the repairs!!!! Thank you Percy and gang. read more

I had apointment for estimate air duct cleaning today. 1-3 PM. Very busy Christmas time. made whole day around this ... just got message right before. they dont' have enough workers. they could have let me know this this morning. There are many places that do this. on to the next one read more

Needed a quote on some repair work done and the company was very responsive and fair! We had an in person quote done in two days (mainly because I couldn't make the next day work) and the price was more than fair. Actually, the technician was able to do the work then and there whereas other places either quote me insanely high prices or do an in person quote one day and a repair in a couple weeks. Thank you COIT for your transparency, quickness, and prices! read more

I had my shower tiles cleaned today, and to be honest, I was a little disappointed. He did an adequate job, but not great. He missed some spots that I later cleaned myself with some spray cleaner and a brush. He complained (politely, but several times--) about bringing his hose in through the back door, closer to the bathroom, instead of dragging it through the living room and down two halls. (Did he forget about "covid reluctance" to have him come through the entire house?) Good things: the company was very responsive, and scheduled the cleaning just a weekend after I'd called. It was delayed two days because of Monday's weather, which was OK; it was easily rescheduled, and the technician called before coming as I'd asked. To be fair, the shower really needed cleaning -- nothing done during two years of Covid-- but it could have been better. read more

Requested service through Coit.com 10 days ago expecting to hear from someone yesterday for service requested today. Crickets. I called this morning and the person on the phone simply commented it was just a request for service...no apology for lack of follow through, nothing. The killer is this I had asked they just come to provide services regardless of cost. Would have been money in the bank for them...apparently they don't need my business. Their competitors were more responsive. read more

Mark and Wyatt of Coit Cleaning did a perfect job of restoring, stretching and cleaning 3 bedroom carpets. I can always count on Coit, from water damage to periodic carpet cleaning. I have been using Coit for over 20 years. They respond quickly. Their prices are fair and customer service is excellent. Thank you again for a job well done. read more

COIT was recommended to me by my bathroom tile installer. I needed the old entry tile and old kitchen tile seriously cleaned. From first call for estimate to final job done was an excellent experience. On time, very reasonably priced, thorough job; the tile is so much brighter and all grout sooo much cleaner. Very pleased with Wyatt who did the job and was very careful in my home throughout. Highly recommend. read more

Recently got on Yelp to find a firm that offered cleaning of my under the house dryer vent. Coit was quick to respond with a fair estimate and was able to schedule the cleaning for a Saturday morning. Mark, the technician, arrived promptly and explained the procedure. After turning the dryer on, we went to the vent to check airflow. There was some. Mark said should be more than that. He then quickly got to work. Afterwards, he showed me the lint that had accumulated. He replaced the dryer, ran a short cycle. We checked the vent and WOW! What a difference!! He was very courteous and answered all my questions. Thanks Coit and thanks Mark! Wife commented a couple days later saying that our clothes are drying so much better and quicker. Happy wife, happy life!! read more

We have lived in our home for a little over 5 years and just saved enough for hardwood floors. The original owners had beautiful drapes with a valance that is about 25' Long. The husband and I both agreed we wanted to keep them so I found COIT on Yelp and gave them a call. With new floors, I wanted clean drapes! We were lucky enough to have Wyatt as our service technician. He removed the drapes to take them for cleaning and advised me that they could clean my giant valance on site. He also told me that they would hold the drapes while my floor was being finished at no additional cost. My beautiful drapes are now in place and I couldn't be happier. Thank you COIT and thank you Wyatt for an excellent job. read more

Please check the service fee for one hour before you make the appointment. It is a lot of money to be told to call a plumber.

I had a very bad water leak under my kitchen sink into the crawl space. The plumber wouldn't go under to fix it because it was to wet. I was told to call 911 restoration their guy was in Tahoe at least an hour out. COIT showed up within 20 minutes of my call. COIT's guy Dekon was knowledgeable and thorough, cleaning up stuff that could turn into mold. Hopefully I will never need to call again. read more

So I needed my carpet cleaned in a condo I own. Half the condo is tile and laminate. Only the upstairs is carpet, or 600 sq ft. He quotes me $192. I told him it's only 600 sq ft. He states that they charge by the room. I'm like, okay, it's two bedrooms. He says the staircase is a room and the hallway is a room. Holy schnikees! results turned out okay but the carpet is only a year old so it's not like it was filthy. Anyway, you might want to shop around. They were able to come within one day so that was a plus. read more

It's unfortunate that my experience with this company was so poor that I have to leave a negative review, but after multiple incidents I feel this is the only prudent thing to do. Coit was hired by my insurance company after I had some water damage in my kitchen area. At this point I'm not even entirely sure what coit was hired to do, but they came in to demo some of the damaged floor and move my appliances. In the process of this they severely damaged portions of my walls, ceiling, and hardwood floor, so much so that the scope of the job dramatically increased and the rest of the floor had to be replaced. When the construction company came in to do their portion, they noted that the demo was so poorly done that multiple portions of my kitchen would need to be rebuilt that shouldn't have to had to. Again dramatically adding to the scope of my project and certainly adding on time and expense. Further, all of my interactions with coit on the phone have been poor, they don't get back to me in a timely fashion, they don't communicate effectively at all, with me or with the other involved contractors. It is apparent to me that they don't care about the customer or their reputation in this community. I should point out that after coit caused all the damage and this was discovered that They are contributing to the cost of the repairs, and I want to give them credit for that, but still if their employees were professional and knowledgeable in their area, certainly none of this would've happened at all. I'm hoping I don't run into another problem like this that would require their services, but certainly if I did I would not use this company again. read more

I just moved into a new home in Genoa, NV, unfortunately i had a water incident with one of the lines underneath my new house and had to call COIT, they sent out one of their guys named Jonathan who was very helpful and informative. He got straight to the damage and made us feel very secure about the situation. He even said things will get better, he apologized for having to deal with this issue on top of everything going on in the world right now. I would recommend calling COIT for any messy cleanups, they are the best out there! read more

One doesn't ever really want to have to use a cleaning and restoration company - It usually tends to be under bad circumstances. We had a water leak in the wall of our house resulting in mold growth. The builder of our house put us in contact with Coit. They were prompt in calling us to set up an appointment to assess the damages. They came out same day and were out first thing the following morning to clean the mold and water damage. I didn't feel the price was too much for the work they had to do....it was actually less than I would have thought. They were thorough with their work and explained everything before beginning. Hoping we don't have to use them again but they will be my first choice if we ever do. read more

We had some water damage and mold in our garage and the insurance sent COIT out to assess and clean it up. Coit Services is a professional cleaning service that I've used for a couple services. I appreciate their timeliness and honest pricing. I have used them for heat vent cleaning and carpet cleaning. They usually can schedule in a week's time of your first initial call. I would recommend them for both of the services mentioned in this review. However, they offer a wide range of services such as dryer vent cleaning. Thanks Coit! read more

I wouldn't normally write a review for these kinds of services, but recently these guys were in my apartment building cleaning all the old insulation out of the attics and cleaning them out. Who knew they did more than carpet cleaning, but they do a lot of other stuff. Anyhow, all the dust coming through the vents was affecting my daughter and these guys were above and beyond their job to help. They sealed off the vents and even cleaned all the air in my place with an air scrubber. Mark Medina was especially helpful. If you need any of the many services these guys provide, I would ask for him read more

I have used Coit for carpet cleaning several times with excellent results. Recently, I had the unfortunate experience of a roof leak which flooded my office. Knowing that Coit is in the emergency restoration game, I called them. They came to my rescue within the hour! The technicians were knowledgeable and kind. The communication was top notch so I was always in the loop of what was to happen next. They handled everything with the insurance company and my office was back to normal in very little time. I am highly recommending Coit for carpet and drapery cleaning, emergency restoration, or dryer vent and air duct cleaning. Great service all around! read more

Sean and Jarred came out to restore/mediate a leaking sewer pipe in my house that was discovered by my heating company when they smelled the foul air under my house. I called the plumber and they immediately called Coit to come out right away. It was a seriously large leak and they had to dig out 2 feet of sewer damaged soil that was close to my foundation wall. It took 1 day to dig up and dispose of the soiled dirt, deposit an antibacterial substance and set up a drying machine for overnight drying. They returned the next day to remove the drying machine and placed the new plastic inside the basement where it was affected by the leak. That only took about an hour and a half. All this time, Sean and Jarred were professional and polite and explained exactly what they were doing. They cleaned up all the mess because it got a little messy toting the bags of stinky mud and dirt through the house. Luckily, I had wood floors, but I'm willing to bet that they have protection for rugs. If you find yourself in a situation where you have to use Coit for restoration/mediation, call them! read more

Very pleased with the customer service from the start to the finished product. I called COIT to clean the carpets in a fairly large house I was renting. Patrick came out to give us a quote. His professionalism and knowledge was a pleasant surprise. He is truly an asset to this company. On top of that he has a great sense of humor and able to connect with his clients on a personal level. The day of the cleaning the techs were great with communicating with me and it worked out that they could show up earlier which was more convenient for me. Mark and Wyatt were both friendly and very knowledgeable in what they were doing. They did a fantastic job and finished in a reasonable amount of time. All around this company is highly recommended. Coit performed dryer vent cleaning for us. They were on-time, professional and got the job done at a reasonable rate!

Trying to work with COIT for water damage and restoration was a painful process all around. They broke the glass panel of a shower door and didn't tell anyone, so that delayed the entire project by a full week. They overcharged for tasks not performed. In removing tiles to correct damage underneath, they took out twice as much as the tile company estimated would be necessary. (which means buying and paying labor for twice as much new tile!) There was NO communication with the customer (me), so I had to manage all the coordination for them, and had to chase after them just to get basic info like when they will be showing up or how long things are expected to take. Once they had the sale, it was like the customer didn't exist. I will keep advocating for anyone to AVOID COIT Services at all costs. Since all their services are run by the same management, I wouldn't trust any of their other services or communications either. read more
