He came out and said he was going to call me the next day (Thursday) with the price of part and service but I didn't hear from him until Saturday after me calling the business and his cell phone on Thursday and Friday all to tell me they said they won't have the part for 10 days. That is fine but a call with ANY update would have been appreciated. I'm all for communication and an update on Thursday whether he had or hadn't heard from the company where the part was coming from would have been nice so I can say yes or no and have someone else come out to do the job. I guess I should've known when he called me 2 hours after the scheduled time for Tuesday. Nothing but a lesson learned and will never use or recommend South Park Appliances. The worst part of the deal is; is that the technicians knew that the screens sucked from previous complaints. They advised me that it was the only iPhone 7 screen they had left and that's why they installed it. Anyway to make my rant longer they agreed to replace my screen with a better quality screen once they are in stock which is fine except for the fact that I have to take time out of my busy day to do it. Communication is key in all service based businesses. Could have saved everyone time and money, honext time. So, I went back this morning to have the screen replaced as previously stated and everything went great. They made good on their promise and then some. They replaced my screen and threw in a complimentary screen protector and discounted my previous bill. Accordingly, I'm updating my stars to 4.5 as the overall experience was very professional and fast. At the end of the day I will use their services in the future; any business can have an imperfect day as long as they implement real time corrections to the customer as was done here.

For most folks - like my wife and I - the dryer vent is not a major thought. We take the filter out, clean it, and return it - and believe we have done all we can to keep our dryer clean and safe (i.e., fires do result from a build-up of lint). But we were surprised - and shocked--one day to find the dryer filter would no longer fit. A flashlight look revealed a horrible build-up of lint, packed so hard it could not be scraped. My wife contacted C & J for no particular reason, and wow: they fixed the problem, to be sure. But they did more than that: showing me before and after pictures of the lint build up, cleaning the vents, and charging an extremely fair price.
