This wasnt a very good expeeience and i was not pleased with the quality of coins i purchesed i think they may have been counterfeit. Not 100 percent but just glad i didnt spend too much as the one guy said as i handed my money " all sales are final" bad store read more

I went in with a very specific request and the folks were very helpful and knowledgeable.

So surprised these guys don't have a single review?! I've been buying metals from them for awhile and they are very kind and straight forward. Not looking to screw anyone on a one time deal. Their premiums are commensurate with what you would find anywhere else and always better than apmex. Not to mention I I have scored some unique and cool pieces sold at spot price without the up charge you would find elsewhere. Honest folks you can trust! read more

Great shop, highly recommended!!!! Whether you are looking for silver or gold, they will have a GREAT selection for choosing! Very educated!!! Great people, price, and atmosphere! Definitely worth stopping by and seeing what they have. Always something different! read more

So unassuming from the outside but amazing place without any visual thrills inside. Just simplicity- great pieces, fair prices, all abound with knowledgeable Paul. Check this place out if you love old coins, jewelry, and watches! read more

Todd and his team were amazing. He graciously and generously indulged our 8 year old budding collector in great conversation, regaled us with tales from his long career and his family's 3-generation business. The entire team was a hoot! Can't wait to go back. Lovely selection of vintage jewelry and watches too. read more

Great place to bring coins. I walked in and they immediately were able to help me with my coins.

The first time I came in I had no immediate interest in making a purchase, and my fiancé was really just looking around- we never for a moment felt anything less than entirely welcomed and even got a a good laugh over some of their more eccentric pieces with the owner. I came back to sell some scrap jewelry and it couldn't have gone smoother! This place is awesome. Everyone that works there is very friendly and fair. They were also able to secure me CURSED PIRATE TREASURE EARRINGS so I mean, what's not to love? read more

My roommate introduced me to Paul and his crew. I'm a simple silver stacker, I've got more silver than people know. Anyways, Paul has a five gallon bucket of loose change. I have spent a lot of time playing with all my coins, I could easily have just bought silver. I really like this shop. Found some civil war coins. History is cool. read more

Took a coin here the other day. Had previously had some bad experiences with other coin places in the area so I was kinda weary but the staff here were very friendly and knowledgeable. The transaction was super simple and easy and I got a good price for the coin I sold. Would recommend to anyone looking to sell items and it will be the only place i do business with in the future for things like this. read more

Paul and Lori are very fair and good people. I came in with a platinum ring and they gave me a fair price for it right off the bat. They are friendly and will be honest with you, instead of having to go to 2-3 other jewelry pawn shops, I just had to go to Coin Connection. Thanks guys, parking is in back! read more

This review is for selling. I've been to many different gold buyers over the years and have stuck to a few that have been very competent in the LA area, but then I found this place. The customer service, money offered for the value of the piece and the knowledge plus plain friendliness will have me as a repeat loyal customer from here on in. I definitely would recommend Coin Connection for anyone looking to deal with fair, knowledgeable and honest people. read more

I am so happy I finally stopped in here!! Like so many others, I've passed by this place 1000's of times and I've always been curious about it. So the other day I was with my friend walking around and was able to stop in. We were greeted by sweet as pie, Laurie!! She was so kind and we ended up meeting The Legendary Paul!! Both were so incredibly kind and accommodating! I will definitely be stopping in again! They have an amazing collection of unique coins and jewelry! I love crosses and I found this super cool one that I'm wearing and won't take off!! read more

Recently delt with Mark and have zero complaints. Reasonable and honest, not a "creepy coin guy" like I've encountered other places, and the easy transaction was smooth and quick. I will absolutely be rerunning for any and all coin/precious metal needs. read more

I called Coin Connection regarding a silver bar I wanted to sell (a corporate gift). They gave me a quote over the phone, honored the quote when I came in, & paid me in cash. No muss, no fuss - in & out in under 5 minutes. read more

I recently went there to get my mom and step dad 25 silver Eisenhower dollars for their 25th wedding anniversary . I had given up after calling about 30 banks. I suddenly thought "ok I guess I'll have to pay more to get these coins but I'll go to Coin Connection ". As soon as I walked in they sold me 15 Eisenhower silver dollars for 15.00. I had 10 more to go. I was looking in their window cases thinking ok I'll pay 10.00 each but please please ......then the owner went back somewhere behind the counter and came out with 10 more . So I got 25 silver dollars for 25.00 regular dollars. I was elated and it was a very cool gift. I've been there a few times in the past and walked out happy with a few things......coins etc to give as gifts. This time was too good to be true and I just had to share this on YELP. They offered me more for my gold than the rest of the places I called in the valley. I probably won't be selling or buying gold again any time soon, but if I do... I'm going back to the Coin Connection! read more

Paul is very knowledgeable and fair. You know is is giving you the straight scoop! And I would trust him for any other transactions!

I called ahead to ask if an appointment was needed and the gentleman who answered said no, so I stopped by right before closing. They were so friendly from the moment they greeted me. I was there to have some gold jewelry evaluated and was made an offer, which I took. They made it so simple and did not pressure me whatsoever to sell my items. Thanks Coon Connection for your help. I will return to you if I need anything else in the future. read more

Todd at Coin Connection was great to work, he comes across as an honest business owner who values his customers. I walked away feeling like he gave me a good offer for my gold and I left with a lot of cash in my pocket. I would definitely recommend him and certainly plan to return with more items. read more

This place was absolutely fantastic. I'm used to going to coin shops that are staffed by someone who is basically the real-world equivalent of the Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons. The folks at Coin Connection were super friendly, their inventory of silver was amazing, and they chatted with me for a good half hour about everything under the sun while I dug through their stock of silver bars looking for interesting mints I don't have. They've got a bunch of rad estate jewelry too, which I always love looking at. Coin Connection went from a quick stop I made because I was killing time when staying in Burbank to a place I'll be making a point to stop at anytime I'm in LA. read more

Coin Connection was a revelation! I've never considered selling jewelry before, but I was being ridiculous. I had been holding on to the individual earrings from lost pairs for years. Time to unload unused and useless stuff in my life. It was uncomfortable at first, because parting with stuff is hard to do, and I didn't know what to expect. But the atmosphere in the store, and the personable owner, made it a lot easier. I was happily surprised by what I thought was a fair price for the meltable pieces. read more

I inherited a high-maintenance/lower-value set of silver from my Granny, and after using it for a month, decided it just wasn't for me. I called Paul to ask if he would consider buying the set, and he encouraged me to bring it over for a looksee. Before I went, I did a quick online calculation of the price of solid silver, subtracted a rough, healthy amount I would think he needs to make a profit, so I went down with an idea of the price range to hope for. I showed up and he and his lovely assistant were sooooo nice! He weighed the silver and offered me a completely appropriate price in the range I expected. Yay! He also was kind enough to take the time to educate me about my silver and other sets, along with other pieces he had, discussing desirability, brand names, weight, rarity, etc. Just a great, friendly, all-around experience. If I get another set, I'll be back! Thank you Paul! read more

We found the CC 2 years ago after moving here from the bay area. My husband collects coins and I pass the time by looking at all the treasures they have in and on their cases. They have a fair amount of cool, interesting art in metal and sculpture and of course coins, lots and lots of coins We like the owner Paul very much, he is a personable guy and knows his stuff. We bought a diamond band there and have bought silver there as well. Lori is his very knowledgeable side kick, she has a great eye & has made suggestings for me that I really appreciate, including an inexpensive fix for another ring I wear. We trust these guys, plain and simple. read more

Stopped in considering selling some silver items and hoping for some good advice on others I'm not sure about. Paul took the time to give me some honest tips - whether I wanted to hear them or not. Also, a very fair price for the items I did choose to let go. I'll definately head back there either to sell or perhaps buy. read more

I'm a little late, but here is my review as promised! :-) This place is great! I cleaned out my grandfather's apartment and found a bunch of random coins and jewelry that I brought here to get checked out. The owners were so nice and accomodating. I felt really comfortable with them. I can't say that I got fair value for my items because I honestly have no idea what they were worth, but they seem like genuine people so I trust that they did me right. :-) Thank you! read more

I have had the pleasure of doing business with Coin Connection for over15 years, which is as long as I have lived in Studio City. I have always found Paul Wojdak and other staff members to be professional, courteous and above all - honest. Such a fantastic shop! Hooked from the first visit! Very nice selection of coins and jewelry with reasonable prices. My husband and I each found treasures. Paul and Lori were delightful! I've been looking for a sterling curb chain bracelet for a couple of years. I found it in the treasure trove case for less than half of the price of bracelets I had seen elsewhere. I wore it out of the shop. Really. If you dig estate jewelry, coins, silver jewelry and supporting small businesses then make the time to visit Coin Connection. We are repeat customers for sure. read more
