Hello, I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed in this business Coin Connection, I went there with old coins that my grandpa had left me after he passed away, The Woman at the counter was handling my coins taking them out of their booklets and had taken one of my coins in the back, she comes back and put it back on the counter and walks away Not telling me anything about the coin, first off nothing should have left my site, she had all the coins reference book she needed right there, I get back home because she had taken most the Mercury dimes out. To fine a well worned out 2009 dime. I should've payed better attention, I contact the owner and he's rude ,wouldn't let me talk, saying he has cameras, he didn't see anything like that on camera, well I'm just glad that he has those cameras up he's going to need it. If I could give them zero stars I would. I specifically went to this place because it had such good reviews. Little did I know I was wasting my time going there. I don't know much about coins or stamps or anything of that sort. Nor do I know the apparent etiquette that is preferred when bringing your items in. I came in with a smile on my face and greeted the employees nicely. I simply said I'm looking to get rid of some of these things. The first thing out of the man, whom I'm assuming is this Paul fella everyone seems so pleased with, is "this is yuck" (in reference to a coin set I had) and he then tossed it to the side. Then he started going through a box of loose coins and kept tossing them around saying this is 70 cents, this is a dollar, so On and so forth throughout the majority of the box and consistently tossing them as he went. Then came some old paper money including a few silver certificates (mind you I have no idea the value of these things and I'm not gonna spend hours looking them up one by one when there are experts out there who I can ask). He starts with this is a dollar, this is NOTHING, this is WORTHLESS. He consistently put emphasis on the lack of value instead of just speaking to me like a damn adult and just saying hey these aren't really worth much. No. He had to use words like worthless and nothing and yuck. I also had some stamps with me in a large bin. I asked if he knew anything about them and he said yes but he wouldn't be taking them "like that". They are in a clean plastic box within several envelopes. Again. Why would I look each one up if someone can go through them and just tell me NICELY if they have any worth. He wouldn't even take one minute of his time to look at a single one. The woman who assisted him. I assume that's Lori. Was very kind and sweet and used her adult voice and grammar to tell me there wasn't a whole lot of value she could see. She should be running the front of the house instead of Mr. Rude (Paul). I'll be sure to never come back and forward the info along to anyone I know looking to sell or buy anything in the nature of what they have. It's unfortunate it went the way it did. As a customer I should never feel that uncomfortable in a place where I'm simply there to get information about something in my possession that I would like to find the value of. I'm there because you know something I don't and I'm basically asking for help. I'm not asking to be spoken down to or made to feel like I'm dumb or not welcome. If you want to work with only high ticket people then maybe you should become a more exclusive business instead of being open to the PUBLIC. I'm sorry Lori has to work there. She is a very sweet woman who seems to have the patience of a saint. Paul is nothing more than just plain rude and unprofessional. read more

There's always something nice to be found in the shop and the owner is really attentive and friendly. He's one of those gentlemen who will share his knowledge with you if the shop isn't too busy, which is really awesome. I went here about two weeks ago, so this is a delayed review. I'm giving this place five stars because they were so helpful. I believe the woman's name was Lori and the man's name is Paul. I came in to sell some old silver and gold jewelry (mostly mismatched items and old chains). But I didn't budget really any time for this walk in. I had another appointment to get to so I was really rushed and didn't even know if they could help me. I figured I could always come back later, but I wanted to get an estimate before leaving. They were really kind, Lori started sorting through what I had and Paul came out from the back to help sort through it all in order to get me out of there as soon as possible. They offered me a price to which I agreed to and cut me a check on the spot. I feel they gave me a fair price for what I had, but I'm not someone who sells jewelry so I'm not an expert. They seemed legit, and very eager to help me. If I need to sell anything again I'll go to them and I'd definitely recommend. I didn't know where to park, so I just parked in back, but they told me that next time I could park in their parking on the side, if you're looking at the building, it looks like a little alley to the left of the business, they said that customers could park there.
