Run away from this attorney…read more Mr. Rosner, not only does not act in my best interests but has been continuously damaging my case. He took a retainer but did nothing on my case, besides of damaging it. He showed up unprepared to a court date and then, without my consent entered into an agreed order with an opposing party. He leads you to expensive hearings without any need for them and bills you. I had to fight with him that he even makes legal arguments. When I requested him to file a motion, he told me that I did not go to a law school and he did, that I do not understand law and that I could not file that motion. Even though the Illinois Supreme Court Rule e was clear that I had clear grounds to file the motion. Eventually, after a lot of back and force arguments he filed the motion that he initially was stating I cannot file. After filing a motion to withdraw, he had a meeting with the judge and opposing counsel without informing me about that meeting. Next court date the judge denied his Motion to withdraw and he acted completely against my interests. At the hearing of the motion he made false statement to court, he did not argue any false statements that opposing party made. And he did not call any witnesses that were waiting to be called. He presented no evidence that was readily available. He acted completely against my interest. He commits fraud. As of right now, despite of me terminated attorney-client relationship, I am locked by illegal actions of the judge on the case with this attorney and am not allowed to speak. On previous court dates he made statements to the court without consulting with me made statements to court that did not represent my position. He went multiple time with opposing counsel and judge to discuss the case in chambers, came out and multiple times conveyed to me propositions that were clearly against my interests. Attorney Rosner does not send me court's orders. He never discussed a strategy of the case with me. On October 18, 2024 attorney Rosner was directed by the court to update my motion for interim attorney's fees and temporary maintenance but despite of my numerous requests he refused to file it. And he continues to send me invoices and keeps demanding money. I requested him to file Motion to reconsider denial of his withdrawal. On January 17, 2024 he stated to me that he will file motion to reconsider denial of his withdrawal after his outstanding bills are paid. Mr. Rosner does fraudulent billing, he bills for services he does not provide. I requested him to show me prove of emails that he billed for and he refused to provide prove of those emails. There is total lack of transparency. He also suggested to bifurcate my divorce that it would be easier for me to find a man who will be paying Mr Rosner's bills. Based on previous review I see that he had done same to another woman who has chronic health issues, as I do. Mr. Rosner told me to not write him emails. He avoids any communication in writing. He does not answer questions. I do not know what's happening, but it seems he has no access to online court docket or pretends he does not. It is common understanding that attorneys do have access to online filings in Cook County, common public does not. I'll be preparing official complaint against Mr. Rosner but the public should be warned too. Had I seen previous reviews before I hired him I would never enter into contract with him. I request Mr. Rosner to stop his illegal actions and to return my money to me ($2,500.00)

He was great at first and recommended a solution, and the moment I paid him everything went to hell. What was supposed to take "a few weeks" took 6 months, was done incorrectly, and I had to contact a second attorney to contact him to provide the services I had paid for. He made errors in our wills, he forgot numerous times about meetings with my family to sign documents (wasting two hours round trip driving), gave possibly 15 promises in email regarding when I would have documents, and every one of them were broken. At some point he stated that my documents had been sent but did not receive tracking information.....they are considered "Lost by the post office" to him so God knows if he actually sent them out and someone has my estate planning, or if he just gave me one more BS excuse. I am currently paying someone else to undo some of the work Howard did and correct it. The new practice stated he used cookie cutter templates that did not even speak to IL laws correctly. He is unorganized and has no customer service skills. I wouldn't recommend him for anything.
