Please stay away ! I am very disappointed with The Davis Law Group representation and outcomes after the court date . When I called the office, the attorney explained to me that he will help to get rid of the ticket and will take it off from the records. I told him that I have CDL drivers license and he said - he still can help and nothing to worry about . I had ticket - with no court appearance required.. had to pay around $ 150 and that's all. I contacted their office for help me to take this ticket off from my records because its not good for my work. AS the result I paid $ 1200 to their office to represent me at the court . When I came to the court room with the attorney - he was not even informed that I had commercial drivers license and only at the court room he found out that ticket can not be switched or changed to different violation or dismissed because - I have CDL.. also the other party showed up and attorney said - nothing we can do .. you have to admit that you are guilty and I will make sure that the ticket will be off your records. I paid additional $ 300 court fee +$75 ticket fee. A few months later I was screened at my workplace and the violation and ticket are on my record- nothing was done .. I just paid almost $ 1600 for nothing instead to pay $ 150 for ticket as it was originally . What kind od business do they do ?? They are ripping off the clients and do not do anything . Never in my life will I spend a dime or waste another minute with this firm. I called for a consultation and was assured I would get a call back that day. When I did not, I called the next afternoon (today) to see if I could receive a call. I am no longer an IL resident, I was not at the time of my arrest, and I still am not. There have been more miscommunications from the court, mvd, etc. than I can even count which has made my case insanely difficult. When Larry Davis answered my call I had but 3 sentences to say before he was criticizing the noise in the background saying "call me when you are in a quiet place". I then went into a quiet room and he proceeded to tell me "are you going to let me finish" before I was finished, that "this is his career but go ahead" and immediately told me there was nothing they could do. I hungup out of pure frustration with his disrespect. Immediately after the call he sent me a condescending email essentially placing the blame on me that I cut the call short. Since then I have found 3 lawyers willing to help me with my revocation that have all laid out a clear path on how to reinstate my license so that I can get a license in the state that I work. Did I mention it's been a year and a half of completing 24+ hours of classes, jail time, etc for a misdemeanor. I would never recommend this firm as it was a 5 minute phone call in which all hope was destroyed and after a year and a half I broke down in tears. Brandon Davis took what was a sticky situation and made it into an easy one. I had been pulled over for misdemeanor speeding, over 30 mph over the limit. Something technically punishable with up to 6 months in prison! I somehow had thought my court date was on Wednesday, but it turned out to be on Tuesday, so I missed it! With one day notice, Brandon got to the courthouse early, filed the motion to remove the suspension to my license for not showing up to my court appearance, and got my case put back on the docket. He then got the whole ticket busted down to petty speeding and essentially had it dismissed! I ended up only paying court costs, and had no traffic school or anything! I am still very surprised how this whole thing turned out, and definitely attribute this whole resolution to Brandon's expertise and knowledge. I had a Scott's Law ticket I needed assistance with. I had a clean record so I was worried this would effect my driving record. On short notice Brandon Davis was able to assist me. His initial phone consultation alleviated me of any worries I had. Super friendly and professional he explained the process so I decided to have him represent me. At court he was able to get me in and out within 20 minutes which was huge for me (not much free time running a business). Only hiccup was the wait at the cashier (out of Brandon's control). When I was up they had the incorrect fine so they had to correct it. Brandon saw me waiting and after telling him my issue he had me write out the check for the fine and said he would take care of payment. Off I was with only 45 min lost! I got charged with a Class A Misdemeanor for Aggravated Speeding. I was hit with going 90 on a 35. I contacted each of the top traffic lawyers near me. All of them said they could help but I wasn't confident in any of them. They all claimed they could bring this charge down to 50-70 hours of community service, Traffic School, Reduced fine(2500 to 500-600), and that it would be a reduced charge. Brandon handled my case, aggravated driving. Was going 85 on a 55. He was able to get it down to a $75 fine with no conviction and 4 months supervision, amazing! I can't speak for Mr. LaScola, but Mr. Davis is a total scam artist. I called because I was charged with a moving violation I did not commit. Mr. Davis then told me that the potential penalty for this traffic violation was revocation of my license for 6 months and urged me to retain him to make sure this didn't happen. This happened to be a lie. He also said he was going to get my charge lessened, so I would only have to pay $194 for court costs and his fee of $300 and it wouldn't go on my record. I did NOT commit the violation, but he kept urging me to settle and when I mentioned that I might as well go to traffic school if, for some crazy reason I was found guilty, he said that the state has the right to deny me that option if they think my driving record is too good. Another LIE! When I called him back (I was initially flustered and uninformed, so I didn't question his assertions) and confronted him with his dishonestly, he got very aggravated and told me not to trust the other sources of my information and that I would end up with harsher consequences if I didn't listen to him. He finally told me that perhaps I should not retain his services. No kidding. I opted to not go with him and his firm and my case was DISMISSED. Money owed: $0. If I had gone with his strong armed dishonestly, I would have ended up paying nearly $500 and been on probation with the court for a violation I never even committed! Please think twice before hiring this company and make sure you get some corroboration for whatever they tell you because, in my case, the majority of it was completely fallacious. read more
