Friendly service in a really cute space. The coffee is some of the best I've had in years, and I highly recommend the pumpkin seed cookies!

Oh boy! What a treat. My girl and I each enjoyed a wonderful breakfast bowl. Plenty of food to fill…read moreyou up, too. We sat at a high top table, and shared it with three gentlemen. Unfortunate for me though, I had to sit right under an air conditioning duct. I bet that the gentlemen were wishing that it was my girlfriend who had that seat. (I think you get the points.) Our meals were as fresh as can be, and tasty too. We had no problem cleaning our plates. It was fairly crowded when we got there. But if you don't mind sharing a table, you'll find a spot for sure. There's outside seating if you like. Quick Tip: Get there early, or get there late, cause if you get there during prime chow down, you'll be lucky to find a seat. Even the cold zone will be occupied. You may want to wear a bra....Just in case.

You order at the counter, grab a number, and find your own table, though most weren't clean when we arrived. We had the chicken and goat cheese biscuit, farmer biscuit, cappuccino, and toffee crunch latte. Drinks came out fairly quickly, but the food took about 30 to 40 minutes. Staff was sweet, just seemed overwhelmed. The food itself was good. The goat cheese and pepper jelly were a great combo, and I personally loved the apple butter, though my partner thought there was too much. Overall, good food if you have time to wait.

It's almost impossible to decide what to order because literally everything looks and sounds amazing -- and based on what we tried, you can't go wrong. The food was such a nice surprise -- it seemed like it would be *fine* but we were impressed. Great flavor, super fresh, oh, and huge portions. Drinks are excellent, you can't go wrong there either. I've tried the coffee, a mimosa, and a spritz on different occasions. So tasty.

The cozy, café-style atmosphere makes it perfect for a relaxed brunch or a casual lunch with friends. It's charming without feeling pretentious -- just simple, welcoming, and full of great smells coming from the kitchen. The crêpes are the real star. Whether you go sweet or savory, they're thin, perfectly cooked, and generously filled. The savory buckwheat galettes are hearty and flavorful, while the sweet crêpes hit that perfect balance of light and indulgent. Pair one with a good coffee and you've got an easy, satisfying meal. If you're in Knoxville and want something a little different from the usual brunch spots, The French Market is absolutely worth a visit. It's a local gem that keeps you coming back.
