Today I was sitting in there doing studying at eating some food I had with me and drinking water. I was panning on ordering an iced chai after I finished my water I just wanted to get through drinking it first. That's when Leticia Fernandez came up to me and said I had to buy something then and I was being rude (I had literally only been in there for 5 minutes). I told her I had been planning on it and showed her my capybara points that showed I was a semi regular customer. She scoffed at me saying "some people have way more" She then said she saw me eating sushi from Publix once there (let me tell you this was on their patio for 5 minutes max and no one was out there and it's a public space) Being in a college area where UTK students find places to sit and study should be expected and when I've literally spent so much money on their overpriced coffee there I would expect to be treated with respect. Well now I have no respect for this business and lady it was not me being rude it was you. If I you as a customer are not wanting to get berated and called rude by a passive aggressive money hungry lady then do not go here. Do not support Leticia Fernandez's business because she is a greedy owner. I guess I will never get an iced chai from here again, oh well it wasn't even that good anyway there's plenty of coffe stores better than them in Knox.Oh also she said I was taking up space at a table and they have a crowded atmosphere when there were still many tables open and it's not my fault you set up the space the way you did, what's even crazier is that I was going to pay for an expensive coffee from them until she berated me. Don't go here go to k brew Knox! Way better people, atmosphere, and coffee! Or seed coffee, or awaken, or coffee and chocolate!

Inside, it has a touch of 70's flair and midcentury pizzazz in a small but serene space. Seating is limited, with a few cozy seating spots and many bar seats and low-top tables. The wi-fi was rockin' and many outlets being put to good, techie use. The barista warmly greeted us and quickly got to work with our creations-a cold brew and a hot latte. There is a $1 upgrade for dairy alternatives and any sugar and sweetener is in a self-serve area, not added into the drink (although the barista asked me if that's okay, thus, I think she would have added if I preferred that). They have sugar and stevia, as an FYI for anyone who wants/needs a different option. They have a few baked treats and a few seasonal coffee flavors and add-in flavors and beyond that, the drink menu is simplistic. My latte was the creamiest, foamiest latte in all the land. The coffee itself was a touch more bitter than we like but we were able to doctor it up nicely with stevia. Cute spot with a lovely view of the surrounding, scenic neighborhood.

Beyond its beautiful aesthetics, the milky layer provided a rich and nutty sweetness that complemented the dark and earthy tones of the espresso. The cold brew was quite the adventure, taking in every layer, one at a time. What started out as subtle sweetness quickly turned into a cacao aroma and ended at citrus tartness. Small but mighty brick and mortar shop in a quaint neighborhood across from a church and lined with other local businesses. Bar stools, lounge chair, work bench, they've got it all. Certainly a hidden gem in residential Knoxville. So glad we stopped by!

It wasn't as sweet as I expected (like if you order at Starbucks for eg) but the ambiance inside is excellent - they have tables and regular chairs but also couches and big soft chairs. I sat in a big soft chair and was very comfortable! They also have two clean bathrooms, i changed in there after hiking. There weren't enough hanging pegs but they were spacious so still good enough. The staff up front were quick and helpful! No trouble there. And there were a decent number of parking spots out back - that said, by the time I left, the lot was completely full. Not sure where else you could park in the area. Overall, if passing and needing a rest I would rec this spot! But I would try ordering something else besides a London fog ;)

It's a comfy space though a little small and by 10:00, it was starting to get crowded with laptop folks. I took that as my cue and headed onwards. But first, there was coffee (a cortado that was more like a flat white) and a bunch of time on their wifi. There is a parking lot in the back. If it's full there, it will be full inside.
