New reading room remodel
Stefany V.

I've been a fan of Coffee Religion since they opened the first location and it's been cool to see them expand across the valley. This location in Henderson seems to be struggling more than others, possibly because it's in an area already saturated with great coffee options. They closed for remodeling over the holidays and recently reopened this location with a "Reading Room" concept with built in bookshelves and a quieter atmosphere to encourage quiet reading, working, or lingering. On my recent visit with a large group for book club, it felt kind of empty but it should warm up as the shelves fill up. I do like that the shelves are organized and grouped with sticky note labels for fiction, cookbooks, memoirs, etc. Note they have a promo on social media to bring in a book to donate and get a free coffee. The menu has "coffee" misspelled and only one of their signature lattes, and a handful of pastries. Thankfully my hot Maple Reeves came out with their usual beautiful latte art, and the warmed chicken curry puff was tasty. Hopefully they bring back the tamago egg salad sandwich as well, it's one of their signature items that several of us were planning to order- the barista let us know that people have been constantly asking for it, so fingers crossed. Service was very friendly. Our book club had a good time checking out the new spot, discussing our last read, and browsing the shelves. There were several books with discount stickers from their original store (i.e. 30% off Target stickers that I peeled off myself), but it is unclear how the books are priced here. Their social media page recently announced their own upcoming book club - I like the idea of purchasing a $15 voucher (redeemed in store for food and beverage purchase?) to hold your spot, help ensure people show up, and help them plan for the right group size. I'm not sure a Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 really allows many people to attend, a weekend would probably be better. It seems like the remodel is intended to help them offer something different to the area and increase traffic. I am hoping they succeed in that and stick around, as I've been a longtime fan.

I visited Coffee Religion Reading Room today after seeing it on TikTok and didn't realize yesterday was their soft launch. I'm happy I was able to stop by so soon. The space is beautifully decorated: stylish, zen, and impeccably clean. I love the curated collection of books available for books (organized by genre!) along with several retail items like totes and journals. The barista was very amiable and personable. I asked about different drink options and he took the time to explain them, including that their hojicha is sourced directly from Japan. I ordered an iced Godzilla latte with almond milk and a touch of vanilla. I love trying different tea lattes, and this one was genuinely unique. It's nutty and comforting. The balance between the hojicha and matcha was perfect, and I'd absolutely order it again. There's plenty of seating and little nooks, making it a great spot to read, relax, or work. I also noticed pastries and muffins on display. I'm not sure if they offer more substantial food options. Overall, it is a very welcoming environment, and it'll probably be my go-to after my Trader Joe's runs.

Delicious coffee and adorable vibe inside the cafe! The barista was so sweet and the service was timely, I got a vanilla latte and it was so good! Great coffee spot!

Afternoon Tea Box!

My not so secret weapon. Ive been a fan since they opened on Charleston on the westside since 2021. Fast forward to present day! I order the afternoon tea box as my go to for my clients who want lite bites - something savory, yummy, and a little sweet. My clients love it - EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The cafe is cute, lots of seating for eating, working, socializing. Lots of parking! Something else they execute flawlessly - SERVICE. Everyone is friendly. I call place my order and tell them my name...They already know exactly who it is! I just texted the regional... she is on maternity leave. SHE RESPONDED ANYWAY! An amazing local business! Need coffee, meeting with friends, afternoon tea box to go - COME HERE!

Really cute and quiet coffee shop! Staff was really nice and explained their drink menu to me and the popular options. I got an iced Maple Reeves which was tasty but a wee bit lacking in that coffee taste which I personally prefer. Although it is a small shop, tons of seating options!

Let's take a moment and get closer to the self awareness. We need the best to be the greatest! Those of us that "love" coffee see it as a religion What's not to love about the religion of coffee? This little corner coffee establishment has a beautiful vibe. Do you have feelings that need contemplation? Perhaps you are looking for inner strength? Self worth and love? We all need to get together our thoughts and joy! We sometimes forget about our own path and leave our connection behind to the self. When we wake every day we look into the mirror . Our reflection back is so much deeper than we can even imagine? We are looking at the self light that we have, we will use this inner joy to give to the world . We have responsibilities to our community that need to be shared and fulfilled. Sometimes it's our turn to step up. We need to remember and recognize when we get lower than normal. Sometimes a scared little space can remind you of that inner rhythm that we need to keep going. What's not to love here? Coffee, matcha, fancy little favorites that are unique to the personalized tone of the coffee shop that I have come across just by pausing and listening to my inner voice. The food is tempting and should be enjoyed. They make everything to order . It might take a few extra minutes but what's not to love about slowing down and making life even grander . The ambiance of the store is amazing. It's a sort of quiet that one can use to restore and maintain their energy and grow. Need to study here's the place to start that power session? Or gather with some friends or family! What's not to love ? In fact love can be felt from the outside in! It's sort of how we see ourselves. We reflect happy from the moment we look into the mirror . The moment we step into the world we give that energy back in a smile as a result of our outer and inner light. What is not to love about a drink choice called Purple Rain? Which is espresso and lavender! How about a Copacabana? This fabulous favorite is iced tea, mango, and lychee! The Maple Reeves and Pulp Fiction are a perfect combination for sharing together to enhance any unstable balance felt in life . Get your inner voice and joy back let's make it a coffee religion right here, right now !

Even though this place is not over the top with the typical Vegas vibe it's still very cute with a clean decor style. The service was great and the gentleman that took our order gave great suggestions. I tried a Purple Rain Latte and it was delicious and not that sweet which I enjoyed. Next time I will try a savory food item.

Vietnamese Iced Coffee

Great vibes and even better coffee I've only done pickup from Coffee Religion so far, but the experience was great. The staff was friendly, and the shop had a warm, inviting vibe that makes me want to come back and stay awhile. We tried the Vietnamese iced coffee and it did not disappoint--strong, smooth, and perfectly sweet. Can't wait to explore more of the menu next time!

Small little coffee, making area, and very clean
Mike L.

This is your very basic coffee shop with not a lot of free drinks or even blended options. But what you will get here there's a place to relax and talk with friends or pick up one of the mini books that they have on their shelves there was one barista behind the counter, and she was very helpful and friendly being my first time in. A couple that came in behind me seemed to be a little bit snooty and of the Starbucks level because the gentleman was unhappy that he could not get a receipt or that he did not run the iPad to have one email to you correctly. It's just coffee, dude you don't need to write it off. Other than that very low-key beat Nick type vibe. This so seems like a place that on Saturday nights could have a good crowd of local poets not that I know that that is happening but just seems like the place to do such a thing. Anyway, good coffee a little bit out of my way, but if I'm in the area, I will definitely come back and they do have a point system based off your phone number like most places.

Stopped by on a Friday morning and was easily able to pllace my order with the friendly cashier.. Nicely decorated and I liked looking at all their live plants. There are plenty of seating available. We ordered house coffee, a bluberry scone and the Maple Reeves. My husband enjoyed the Maple Reeves but it was a bit too sweet for him. The bluberry scone was good and I enjoyed the jam and cream it came with.

Marina H.

Cute corner coffee spot ... they offer afternoon tea service too! I have t done it but I've been in there while other patrons were partaking in it. My favorite is their Vietnamese coffee... just the perfect blend of bitter and sweetness... that's just my opinion Join their rewards program to earn points towards a free item in the future

Absolutely adore this coffee shop ! ! The decor is amazing ! It's very unique and has beautiful decor . The vibe of this coffee shop is so cool and welcoming. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I was so impressed by their customers service. We have ordered a Maple Reeves latte and Godzilla Latte, it was absolutely amazing. Very exquisite taste and truly unique for sure. I think they have one of the best lattes in town. They have pastries and sandwiches too, we have tried: chocolate croissant and blueberry muffin and they were delicious and freshly baked. They have a large selection of coffee drinks, teas, and non coffee drinks. Food includes selections from their pastry case and larger options like sandwiches. The spot is cozy and chic. The seats are extra comfy, so much so that we stayed for a couple hours. They have merchandise for sale too. They also offer a tea experience complete with hot tea service and mini sandwiches and desserts. Will definitely come back to try everything on their menu and of course will definitely recommend it to all of my friends and family !!! If you're looking for a new coffee spot to hang out or try some new drinks, check out Coffee Religion.

I kept passing by Coffee Religion and decided to set up my next coffee date there. We were immediately greeted when we walked in and were given a run down of their food and beverage options. They have a large selection of coffee drinks, teas, and non coffee drinks. Food includes selections from their pastry case and larger options like sandwiches. The spot is cozy and chic. The seats are extra comfy, so much so that we stayed for a couple hours. They have merchandise for sale too. I ordered a ham and cheese pastry that was savory and warm. I definitely want to try the truffle grilled cheese on another visit. I ordered the Copacabana drink which had lychee in it which I love. My friend ordered the Maple Reeces specialty coffee and she enjoyed it. They also offer a tea experience complete with hot tea service and mini sandwiches and desserts. There were a few groups enjoying their tea service while we were there. If you're looking for a new coffee spot to hang out or try some new drinks, check out Coffee Religion.

I had earmarked this spot for awhile, but hadn't had a chance to try it yet, so I figured I'd finally stop in. It's located in a parking lot with a few other businesses, but thankfully I didn't have an issue finding a spot. Immediately upon walking in I was greeted with rock music and funky decor, I knew this was a spot for me! The barista greeted me and I told him I'd need a few minutes to review the menu. I asked if their chai was spicy or mild and he advised that while he personally had not tried it, he believed it was mild. Accordingly, I opted to try the cinnamon dolce latte instead as I like a really spicy chai. While I was waiting for my coffee, I settled into a table and started working. To my surprise, the barista hand delivered my drink (and everyone else's) versus just yelling your name to grab it. This was a small, but very nice touch. My latte was good, with the warming spice of the cinnamon and the subtle sweetness, rounded out by espresso. I usually opt for almond milk and it's not always handled well in iced drinks, sometimes it can leave a funky aftertaste, but they handled it perfectly to where it just provided the creamy backdrop. This is definitely a place I'd stop into again to get work done, just not any meetings as it is a bit noisy- as most coffee shops are nowadays. Huge sign, the windows are reflective so you can't really see inside, but when you open the door you are in for a treat. I love a good coffee shop that takes pride in their decor and this one definitely does it. In spades. The place feels open, elegant, but not stuffy, and definitely casual.
