#fatjared say... a great place to go, and honestly a 4.99 out of 5 stars!! For those who dk how I grade, if I have ANY complaints at all I can't give 5 stars because it's not perfect! Sometimes I hate having to stick to it, and this is one of those times! GO HERE...it's worth it and as close to 5 stars as you can get! I have been here twice now...I dk why I didn't review the first time! Each time I have gotten their Cold Brew (see photos). The inside is a very small and quaint fun place to hang out. Probably a total of 25 people at most. If you're looking for a local coffee place to just hang out this is a GREAT choice! They have fun books to read, a very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a very cool feel inside. They also have a drive thru, which is great for being lazy! But there inlays my ONLY complaint (hence the 4 star review). A drive thru should be quick! While I know it's a small place and the staff is not huge, I was in the drive thru for 20 min! They had someone come out and take the order before getting to the window, which helped speed the process, but I still felt it was too long for just a cold brew! That being said, get the cold brew if you like that strong flavor! It's phenomenal! They have 4 different sizes! All very fairly priced, and it was NOT loaded with ice! They put some in there, but DEF gave you your moneys worth of coffee! To recap, GREAT place to go! Only reason I can't give 5 stars is because of the wait time in the drive thru! read more

What a special gem. I thought it was just a coffee place but the food was so fresh and delicious, i was truly impressed. My drip coffee with extra cream was hot, bacon bagel sandwich filing and yummy, muffin fresh and tasty. And my favorite were the helpful Polite ladies who served us. Crustless quiche is on point - great flavor and holds its shape!! Coffee is better than Starbucks and the prices are lower so why wouldn't you choose this local gem over a corporate hog!! I yelped it and am happy I did!! read more

Berry Blast with Banana! Created by The sweetest ladies in the coffee and morning miracle brews industry. I work out and my muscles feel every fiber and protein. I can't help but grow muscles with this drink. My taste buds scream with excitement in every sip, yes sip! Because I want to savor this drink as long as I possibly can and that's saying something considering I'm #8 out of 10 in my family meaning by nature I eat and drink faster than the average human being. I picked up 2 drinks for my husband and I. The drive-through was very slow, (over 10 mintues) and it was just myself and 1 person. We got 2 different drinks but both made our stomachs hurt and feel bad for the rest of the day. Not worth the wait. read more

The coffee drinks are so good here - they use real ingredients, not a lot of artificial flavors. The breakfast bagels are my favorite - with bacon or just veggies. The danishes and cookies are to die for. I recommend Coffee Ranch! read more

I would have gladly given this coffee house 5 stars ... until my visit and meal were ruined. I hope the owner reads this and takes the time to train his/her team. Because this was a great experience until someone ruined the whole experience. 1 star for being warmly welcomed and great customer service. Another star for great coffee and quiche. Negative 3 stars for the loud, unprofessional, 20+ minute long tirade where one employee went off to another employee about a third employee, who was not there. F bombs, loud! Totally obnoxious rant. Everyone else in the shop heard it and we all just kinda looked at each other like "really?" I came here to enjoy coffee and a quick meal. Did NOT need or want to hear that nonsense. Small & quaint coffee shop! Indoor seating for about 24. If you have a larger party finding a spot might be an issue. There is a small outdoor patio with limited seating available. I ordered a frozen mocha which was pretty good. Substantially better than a Frappuccino from Starbucks! The ice was crushed nicely & although there were no espresso shots it was prepared with cold brew. Pleasantly happy with the results. We also ordered a hot latte and that was also a thumbs up. This is my very favorite coffee shop in Chico! I've been two times and ordered the Cinnabon latte both times which is honey, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon... and it it amazing. My boyfriend ordered the wild monkey which is peanut butter, banana, protein, and 2 shots of espresso. Also super good. We came back the next day for breakfast and ordered the breakfast sandwich on a jalapeño bagel... I mean, everything I've had here has been on point. We stopped here Sunday morning before meeting my son for breakfast. My husband had a double shot latte and I had a honey bee latte. We went through drive thru but ended up having to pull off to the side to wait for the drinks. Next time I'll just go in. :) My latte was perfect! I would definitely visit again. I literally wish i could give no stars. i ordered two bagels with cream cheese and two coffees for me and my co worker through doordash and when i got the order the cream cheese has literal mold in it (picture shown) and along with that our coffee tasted like water. i called coffee ranch and explained to them nicely that i was kind of frustrated and that i have proof there was mold and the lady said there was "nothing we could do." she said it "was probably chives" and i explained that i definitely knew it was not. There was no offer to give me a refund even though i asked so here is what i resorted to... a long detailed review with pictures because clearly they won't do anything. read more

My girlfriend was helping out at one of the local churches and I had time to kill before the big service. I was directed to this place to get a simple, dairy free, latte. When I rate coffee shops, more than anything, I rate the quality of the drink itself. To me, that's the most important thing. You can be a jerk in terms of customer service, and while I will probably dock you a star for that, I will still base a majority of my review on your coffee. So I walk into coffee ranch and am immediately taken with the decor. Its simple, clean and really just a pleasant environment. I stroll up to the counter and notice they have a couple of gluten free choices. I hadn't eaten breakfast so I order something. I then order my latte. I am blessed with a beautiful looking late. That's the first bonus check. I take a moment to smell the coffee and it is very deep and fragrant. Then, I take that very first (and most important) sip. Oh folks, I was so very happy. The espresso was so smooth, deep and delicious. The shot was pulled excellently and the quality of the espresso was really good. Then, the first bite of the gluten free pastry. Oh man, equally as good. The two together, awesome. The price for this wonderful experience was good. The customer service was great. Lots of locals came in while I chilled there. It was my first visit to this delicious new-ish coffee shop here in Chico and I was quite pleased! The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and very patient with the indecisive(me). They offer a variety of delicious coffee, smoothies packed with nutrishop protein, or espresso shots to get you through your day! If you're hungry they have delicious apple pie parfait, crust less quiche(for the gluten free), crusted quiche, Gordo burritos (though I think I like beatnik burritos a bit better these are delicious too), and assorted items. They also have fruit smoothies for the kids and non caffeinated options. I ended up with an iced coffee (they gave us a sample of the hot coffee when we came in) a smoothie, and a crust less quiche. I also had a bit of a Gordo burrito my cousin ordered. The atmosphere is relaxing and they even have outdoor seating complete with "doggy parking". On the weekends they offer paleo donuts! I like their breakfast bagel with the salsa and mushroom. It's good but the coffee here is mids.

I needed a place to eat with my puppy and they delivered. Breakfast sandwich was ok. It's premixed so I had to have what was in it. Too much egg and onion for me but all in all it was edible and the croissant was really tasty. The coffee is 5 stars!! The service was great. The atmosphere was awesome. And I ate with my puppy sitting right beside me sleeping:) read more
