They used to be Cafe Toast, but changed their name to One Sip One Bite recently. The interior is basically the same except there used to have a little display of pre-baked goodies, but they put tables there now. Their menu is smaller...more focused. Service was quick and friendly. The Korean Street Toast was perfectly balanced and came out hot and fresh! The bread was toasted and held it's shape well. Inside is neatly layered with ham, egg, cabbage (thinly sliced), onion, cheese, and ketchup. The Jasmine Tea was like any regular jasmine tea - light and refreshing. They use tea bags, and leave it in the drink for you. Great spot for the Korean Toast (and I'm sure any of other goodies they offer is tasty too). Quick and satisfying bite to grab.

Ended up ordering the K-street toast afterwards, which was my first time trying it, simple sandwich with ketchup, cabbage, ham, and egg for $7. This was simple yet appetizing. It won't make you super full, but it'll be enough for a small bite. This is a nice cafe to stop by and grab a quick coffee fix as I saw many people did. The owners are very polite and nice. Some stopped by to study, and others stopped by to chat. Soft music is playing the background. Even though we were the only customers for a while since we were waiting for an errand nearby, it was an overall pleasant experience. I'll be sure to visit again if I'm ever in the area!

Walking in, you see green, lots of it in the form of lush plants and flowers everywhere. There is no over powering scents and the high ceilings do make the space feel open and calm. The counter to order is closer to the rear of the store and there's plenty of cafe style seating and communal seating all around. In warmer months, they put small tables and chairs outside on the sidewalk. The artisanal coffee here is what sets them apart. Bold flavor choices, robust and velvety varieties. Many options to choose from, check out the menu pics. I had the Americano and loved it. We also ordered hot food while hanging out. As they are popular for brunch, Jo and I shared the lemon curd blueberry pancakes as well as the savory salmon lox pancake. We likely over ordered but didn't mind, as we're always open to trying more dishes. The lemon curd blueberry was our favorite. I liked that there was extra lemon curd on the side and the blueberries were fresh. They were lightly dusted with powered sugar and thankfully not bathed in syrup. It was a light and satisfying dish even though it was pancakes. Didn't feel heavy at all. The ice cream was a nice touch so you could consider this as a dessert. The lox and eggs were really good as well. Those pancakes were topped with tomato, greens and avocado. Like a full meal on a plate. So glad we shared everything. I'd totally recommend a dine in experience so you can try the food once it's prepared. We both bought sandwiches to go for our family and those held up well considering it needed to be transported home. I recommend the ham and cheese croissant sandwich.

Sweet! Way too sweet!…read more I order my drinks from all beverage shops at 30% sugar level. Either they got it wrong or they are just adding more sugar than most places. Their 30% tasted like a regular drink elsewhere, if not more. I had hope that was the case and that they made a mistake. However, the lady insisted that they made the drink correctly. Okay then. Did I mention their drinks are too sweet?

I took this opportunity to sign up right away and try their Strawberry Crema Latte. This was definitely the right move! We ordered this as 50% sugar (I usually drink my bubble tea with 30% sugar) and it was perfectly sweet. I would definitely recommend trying this if you like strawberry milk, the 50% sugar also allowed for the bitterness of the coffee to sneak up as well which gave it the prefect balance of lightly sweet and bitter. It tasted like a melted Strawberry Coffee iced cream. The service was very quick and I would definitely be back to try more drink items!

This is not necessarily the coziest or the quietest place to spend all day in, but plenty of people do it, myself included. The space here is much smaller than most of the other coffee shops in the area, and I think it is more all-ages-friendly than the other ones that attract a more hip, younger crowd. They're also known for their desserts, which I haven't tried yet, but will eventually. I also have yet eaten their food other than a sandwich that was OK for $3.50, but I'd say their drinks are pretty above average and very reasonably-priced. I usually get their Matcha Latte, cappuccino, and grapefruit iced tea, and they're usually consistent in making the flavors strong. The price range is around high $3s - low $5s, which is pretty decent for non-Starbucks prices, and I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of their menu items. The best thing about them is that they don't charge extra for almond milk (you won't go back to regular milk after this, I promise). Power outlets are indeed limited, but WiFi is usually very fast. There's usually a substantial amount of older people coming in to chill during the day and they can be aggressive about seating, so be wary about having to move over/make adjustments sometimes. Nonetheless, kind of interesting to see the generation gap at coffee shops.
