My husband and I discovered this wonderful coffee shop. We were kindly greeted and we felt so comfortable inside this cozy coffee shop. My latter was delicious and they offer many varieties of brewed coffee. We ordered a breakfast sandwich. The eggs were fluffy and the sandwich was made perfectly and good quality ham and bacon. What a nice place for a cup of joe & breakfast. I enjoyed a generous sized slice of bacon Swiss quiche with their Andes Mountain coffee after a chilly night aboard the boat. Both were really tasty. Coffee was outstanding. I was greeted with a boisterous "Good Morning!" The entire staff seemed cheery, and service was efficient. Nice vibe in this converted house with old photos of Port Clinton on the walls. Lots of walk-in traffic, as well as several sitting at the 8 or so tables. Music, books, and newspapers. Looks like I'll have to come back to try more of the menu, which includes breakfast sandwiches, muffins, and sweet rolls. Several different coffee choices. Didn't look to see what all was available for lunch, but if it's as good as the breakfast menu, I'm all in! read more

I haven't bought a coffee machine, just so I can come here when I REALLY need my coffee. True meaning to a local coffee shop... excellent coffee, baked goods and sandwiches. You can get a punch card towards a free coffee. I always order the Med Cafe latte, which had 2 shots of espresso in it.. wakes me right up! Recently started ordering something called a "Dirty Chai"... ice chai latte with a shot of espresso, now my new favorite. All the guys and girls who work there know me by name and are awesome! Love this place. Great hot coffee and delicious muffins. A good lunch menu too. The chocolate muffin is soooo good, one of the best I ever had. We literally went everyday and got something different. The food was fine, but the brewed coffee was so bad. They have so many flavored coffees that the only thing you smell when you walk in is highlander grogg. The coffees are all sitting in jars on a top shelf which means you can be assured they don't keep up with whether they are stale or fresh. Fine if you want a latte with a bunch of flavored syrups, but not if you are a coffee aficionado. Nice customer service. read more
