I really like to find local coffee shops (or in this case, cafés lol) when I'm visiting a new place. I had C&C on my radar because I wanted to try their Coconut Coffee. This is the 3rd location in Amsterdam and it is a short walk from Metro Station Zuid in the Business District.
The decor is very beautiful and cozy! I felt like I was walking into a large loft. The café is very spacious with lots of greenery and earth tone colors. They have a nice patio out front too.
The staff was very friendly. I was a little confused on the ordering process because I thought it was counter service. If you're dining in, just grab a table and a server will be with you. If you're ordering take away, you can do so at the register near the entrance.
The Coconut Coffee is fire! I loved the coconut flavor! It had the perfect amount of sweetness and I enjoyed the froth. The espresso beans were a nice touch. I wish I would have visited C&C sooner on my trip because I would have stopped by daily for the Coconut Coffee.
Once I finished my drink, I wasn't sure if I needed to pay at the table or the register. I walked up to the register to pay, but the employee said I could pay at the table next time. They are cashless and they do accept Visa (which was a relief as I discovered that some businesses in Amsterdam do not take Visa).
In addition to coffee, they have tea, soda, juices, wine, and beer. They also have a food menu with breakfast, pastries, and dinner options. The coffee is roasted in house and you can of course purchase coffee to brew at home.
If you love coffee and you're in Zuidas/Business District, take some time to check out Coffee and Coconuts. You won't be disappointed. read more
