The coffee crossing has AMAZING coffee. Whenever I'm in Livingston, I love to get beans for my coffee at home. Today I got a specialty coffee for the first time and it was truly the best I've ever had. I had the chai charger (dirty chai) with oat milk and it was the BEST dirty chai latte that I've had in the state of Montana. It wasn't spicy; perfectly sweet with a warm vanilla accent and rich espresso to balance the sweetness. The oat milk made it so creamy and I enjoyed every drop. It's located right next to the theatre in downtown and it's a charming little spot. For some reason I think the variations on the name Joe as the sizes is SO hilarious (Joe=12oz, Joseph=16oz etc). They also have some great food and bakery items I have yet to try. I'd highly recommend this coffee shop in Livingston especially if you love chai lattes as much as I do. read more

Stop here! Daily! Highly recommend! Delicious coffee drinks Have been here 3 times now in a span of 5 days. (4 of those days I wasn't in town) Twice during our first stay and my third time, passing thru town on way back to Bozeman from Red Lodge. I would start my day here if I lived here! Delicious fresh flavorful coffees made to order. Delicious local treats--pastries, cookies, rice krispy treats. So much character and charm. Service is polite, efficient and talented. Ambiance is full of character. Whether you stand or sit at a table in the theater courtyard. read more

This is a cute hidden gem in "downtown" Livingston MT. The owner is amazing and very personable. If you want a strong drink go with something simple the chai is really good too! The breakfast Sammie's are legit! And made to order with no griddle just the magic of this amazing female and her microwaves. Sounds odd, but it works. They have pastries as well and a ton of cold drinks! You enter through the old theater entrance. read more

Ok, it's small and the service isn't super-fast. The line moves at a pace that you'll hate if you are accustomed to Starbucks-assembly-line speed. The prices are great, and the coffee is very good. It's small inside and you'll likely need to enjoy your cup elsewhere, but that's not terrible. I think it's really cool in their space. It's a good, independent coffee spot. Is not for the Dunkin' crowd, but I think they're happy with that. read more

Wow I really love this place. It's the best part of coming to Livingston! I was there for work a few times and came upon Coffee Crossing by accident as it was across the street from our hotel. I discovered and fell in love with their "hard caramel" which even as a coffee person I'd never heard of, but as mentioned -- immediately smitten. They also have breakfast sammies and burritos which my colleagues said were also yummy. The old timey locals that hang out there daily are super friendly and always up for a chat and a lunch or dinner recommendation. They don't have a phone so don't plan to place any orders in advance but just show up and get in line! read more

The "Banana Walnut" bread (freshly baked this morning according to John, behind the counter) was worth every penny, and, a good-sized slice also. I had black coffee which tasted fresh (5:45 PM and on a Saturday evening). A well-balanced flavor. Taste was a good medium strength with no acidity. They advertised something called "Hammer Coffee", which I understood to be a Drip coffee with 2 shots of Expresso. Sounds like a good morning starter. . Coffee crossing is a good choice for a quick cup and if you want to sit out on the sidewalk and taking in the town of Livingston. It has a pleasant vibe to it. It isn't overly fancy with specialty drinks and the food is average. But the spot is unique and has its own character that is worth stoping by and siping a cup on the sidewalk under the marquee of the old movie theatre. The man I encountered working there was slightly gruff in a endearing small town way but genuinely seemed to enjoy talking about music. And I got the feeling he had lived a life well traveled and could probably converse on a variety of interesting subjects. If your staying at the Murat Hotel, this will be your closest go-to cafe. read more

Was in Livingston a few weeks ago and stopped in for an iced coffee... Unbelievably good. I'm not sure whether it was cold-brewed or whatnot, but it was one of the best coffees we had on our 4 week road trip. The staff was also ridiculously friendly. (Thanks, guys!) Such a quaint and cozy little shop nestled between two busy store fronts. A passerbyer would probably miss this spot if you weren't looking for it. The interior has a huge "FRIENDS" vibe and the wall decor is impeccable. Reminding me of my aunt and uncles fridge littered with child's art and sticky notes. My friend and I were in Livingston for an appointment and we came across this little coffee shop. The atmosphere is perfect. The shop is not too small nor is it too big. Of note, the ketchup did not have high fructose corn syrup which I really appreciated and it tasted so much better! The man working at the front was SO friendly and kind and the chef even came to check on us to see how our meal was. Such amazing service! The ambiance is also 5 stars. It's an adorable spot with cozy seating, lamps on the table and homey decorations. This is a must try in Livingston!

Dont get me wrong their coffee is good. But the experience i got yesterday was unacceptable... whoever was working yesterday is a real dick. I stood inside for 10 mins waiting for the couple ahead of me to finish ordering. During that time ppl start coming in, needless to say maybe1 person knew how they set up their entrence and exit. So instead of simply saying hey guys come in through the movie theater, but no he puts us 4th in line with a smugg comment about serving ppl who know whats going on.
