I had such high hopes for this place. The hours alone are a big put-off for me. The coffee is average. The flavors are creative. But, the pasta straw is gross. The place has a real "laid back" vibe inside. I could tell a lot of people were regulars there (a frequent customer suggested it to me). They offer dairy free options for coffee (almond). So many coffee places don't know how to pull a shot of espresso. I constantly find myself tortured by under extracted pulls at other places. The fallacy of sunk costs -- not going to throw out something I paid for, even if it tastes bad! Right? The espresso here was great. Perfect extraction, perfect temp. In my coffee I had almond milk. The coffee was pretty low in acid, nice and smooth. They are cash only. I know some people complain... but card companies take a lot of money from vendors who already have tight margins. Just pay cash, guys. Parking here... Looks a little tight. I'd imagine you could just park along New Lane (road next to it) and walk up. read more

I am always cautious with restaurants or cafes that look "instagram-perfect" because I have had experiences where the food looked better than it actually tasted but I must say - that is not the case with Coffee Booths! I had the cinnamon Bun iced coffee and it was awesome. I asked for half the amount of syrup (because I'm not a huge fan of overly sweet coffee) and also a double shot of espresso -- it was perfect. You have to get the whipped cream though, hah! Also - the owner mentioned that they make their own syrups which I think is pretty cool. Super friendly staff and a great breakfast. I came by with my 2 daughters. Two of us got iced Americano coffee, and a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. The egg and cheese are actually baked right in the biscuit. My other daughter had a banana chocolate chip muffin which they warmed up for her. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. We will be back for lunch. They also have homemade 'hot pockets' that sound delicious. One is stuffed with kielbasa and sauerkraut, another has chicken and spinach. On my way to work on a rainy Saturday morning when I had a craving for some eggs. Yelped the options for the area. Closest place that showed up was Coffee Booths. I was so close that I almost passed it! That's easy to do because they are set back off Middle Country Rd. But I pulled in and walked into what is a charming little spot that is just as inviting as it is small. The folks are friendly and the menu for coffee is long. As I mentioned I was in the mood for eggs. I saw that they had "stuffed biscuits " on the menu and ordered one with eggs, bacon and cheddar. Then I looked at the board. The big board of options for coffee! I'm no barista but I do enjoy coffee so I asked about the options. After an quick lesson in latte vs cappuccino vs coffee I opted for a Nutella cappuccino. The wait was short and the stuffed biscuit was delicious. Almost too hot to eat quickly which is preferable to being not hot enough. The cappuccino was great as well but without being a cappuccino aficionado I can't say to what degree. But the people and decor and atmosphere is also another draw here. Down to earth people working there along wIth a cozy intimate atmosphere with local artists artwork for sale and a map for people to leave notes on where they came from it reminded me of a spot you might find in rural New England. All in all I enjoyed the breakfast and my only regret is that my wife wasn't with me to enjoy it too. Next time she will be. read more

Super cool little local spot. This cozy coffee shop is a hidden gem in Selden. Each coffee, latte, espresso or specialty drink is made with tender love and care. They have a large variety of drink options and food as well. We tried the Samoas Iced Latte and a regular cappuccino. Both were delicious. We discovered this lovely coffee shop about a year ago and we get out there every chance we get (which admittedly isn't as often as we really want!) and the people there are always incredibly friendly and the coffee is nothing but amazing every time. Came in early Saturday morning. Staff was friendly. Ordered the black and white cookie latte and it was okay- I also ordered the chicken pesto stuff pocket- only problem was lacked chicken. Not sure if they are made ahead and heated in the microwave but the ends were too tough to eat. Seems like a lot of regulars come in and knew a lot of people by their name. Never disappoints- Coffee Booths is a gem in the rough on Middle Country Road I discovered this place with a friend back in June and we have both in turn kept going back and brought other friends here. Forgetting about the food itself the people who run this place are amazing! Always very kind and is a very family oriented atmosphere. Part of the experience going here is the conversation to be had. But now to the good stuff. The first thing I had here was in the summer and it was a nutella frap- to die for. The coffee is just as amazing and you dont have to be a coffee drinker! (I have long been convinced I'm in a 22 year long prank where people try to convince me coffee is good) but here it actually is! If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!! The staff is incredibly friendly and the coffee is unmatched. My coffee was already being made when I realized it was a cash only business and I was blown away when the man at the counter told me to come back later and pay and gave me an "I owe you" card. In this day and age things like that don't happen anymore and that's what makes businesses like this stand out. If you're just passing by, or even if you're not this place is a MUST visit!! This place had phenomenal reviews so me and my boyfriend decided to check it out, it really is a hidden gem-hole in the wall- type of place, very "mom and pops vibe" Pros: *The stuffed biscuits and stuffed pockets were fantastic, truly out of this world, home made taste! *the coffee drinks were delicious, my cinnamon late was alittle bit sweet but the quality was there and I was deff "wow'd" *great customer service from these two gentlemen that were there, so sweet! Cons: *The place is very small- and not in a cozy way. Chairs were 7/10 pretty dirty (not surprised says 52/100 on health score) *they don't have the ability to keep up with the demand on weekends- very long wait times and for customers who want to stay, there seats are being taken up by people who won't leave. People who buy a late then stay for 3 hours is a waste of a seat and seats are how you get good buisness. You want a constant flow of people waking in and out and that is not what goes down there. *The women, I'm assuming owner, was just rude. We ordered food to go and it took about 45 minutes so we drank our coffees there but persisted to ask if we were sure we wanted to leave. We tipped her anyway even though we did not stay and have the food brought out to us but I was very displeased. On top of that, it was a "big deal" to get our free muffins that come with the purchase of a coffee! Her own coupon that they made for yelp to bring in customers. Safe to say- I will absolutely be getting food here again because of the quality but unless you're a regular who is a favorite of this small buisness I would recommend calling in- waiting- and taking out. read more

Came here for breakfast today and loved it! Coffee is perfect...I had a decaf cappuccino. The owner was very friendly and chatted with us. I had a couple of their stuffed breakfast biscuits which are delicious. I had the corned beef hash biscuit and their egg white spinach and feta biscuit. Im writing this slightly under duress. My father is holding my iced strawberry shortcake latte hostage until I finish writing this review. I have been a frequent customer of Coffee Booths for a little over two years now and I brought my father here for the first time today. He is not a coffee drinker so he got a hot chocolate. Once we had ordered and went back to the car, he was already commenting about how fantastic the customer service was. When he saw that the workers bring out the drinks to the car he was amazed at a such a service. He noted that the man was all smiles and looked like he enjoyed his job. Before he even took a sip of his Oreo hot chocolate he could tell it was going to be good and he was not wrong. We also ordered a sausage and gravy biscuit which is now his favorite. He is absolutely jealous that I will be able to come back while he can't. He might take a trip back to Long Island just for this place. read more
