Coffee bear is such a nice spot right on silverton's Main Street. I came for a coffee in the morning before going hiking nearby and they open early (6:30a) so it was really convenient! The place was pretty busy already by 7:15am but it's got enough space and tables there were plenty of places to sit and wait. I got a mocha breve latte and it was wonderful, perfect way to start the morning. They have free water, bathrooms, and wifi too. Perfect spot to hang out and pass some time or study/read. Love!

Great find in Silverton, Colorado. the Coffee Bear is special. Great selection of drinks and they also have fresh pastries and sandwiches. Barista was knowledge, ambience was "Old Western Mining Town. They inside seating, a loft, and outside benches. Spent an hour enjoying the sights, the coffee, and conversation.

Fantastic Hot Matcha Latte & House Coffee w/ Cream

Fabulous drinks & food! We stopped on Easter Sunday for coffee & a hot matcha latte & also ordered a Turkey & Cheese squeeze. All were wonderful & the barista was so sweet, even as she ran the coffee shop herself! Definitely make this cool place one of your stops along the Million Dollar Highway

The worst matcha ive ever had, the BEST chai ive ever had. 100% recommend for coffee and they're other array of drinks and simply for the vibes, ESPECIALLY the chai, really its great get it. However im a person who judges baristas based on their matcha haha. It was unsweetened (which is fine just no warning, i usually like it that way) and was prepared poorly, they make it with a matcha whisk but mine was clumped around the bottom(not whisked long enough or with bad ratio), really no worse way to ruin a good drink. I recommend they get a hand held milk frother dedicated to the drink to speed up time and maintain quality. Otherwise GREAT and the oat milk is good too! Everyone go here! Everyone get chai!

This is a must-stop spot if you are visiting Silverton. We had the breakfast burrito and a pastry, both were fresh and made well. I had a chai and it was great! I did not try the coffee but my boyfriend seemed to enjoy it. Don't forget to check out the rooftop deck. Incredible 360 views. On the particular morning we visited, there was even a live musician playing up there. Everyone working was friendly and handled the long line well. Overall good vibes.

We were just passing through to check out the small town and stopped in to grab a quick snack. It's super cute and clean inside, I love the vibes. I'm sure their coffee is delicious. My 3 stars is specifically for the magic bars. The baked goods are made in house, this is definitely a plus. "When were they are made"? is a question you might want to ask before you order yours! Mine was so dry. I could tell it was not made today. I couldn't take it out of the bag to eat bc it was crumbling everywhere. I was pretty disappointed. A local coffee shop like this has such potential to be great! I would say it's expected to be great! Unfortunately my experience was not. Like I said I'm sure their coffee is really good and it's obviously fresh and made right in front of you. I would just ask about freshness before you order your baked goods.

Did not try the coffee just had a cup. It smells great of coffee. Try the breakfast burrito really good. Nice touch making it like a panini. Good green Chile flavor should of try the coffee. Only issue that we saw was when it is done they just sit the food on the counter instead of calling your name

Brewed coffee, cappuccino, and lemon bar were delicious. Hot cocoa was made from a powder and just ok. Carrot cake was slightly dry but frosting was delicious. Service was friendly and lots of seating options.

This is an amazing coffee shop. It is three stories with a rooftop patio. They have indoor seating also. There are so many cool Decorations inside. The staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable. They have a small Food menu. Street parking is free.

My fiancé and I had a caramel macchiato and a squared burrito, both were amazing! We sat on the roof top and it did not disappoint!

A great place for coffee and nibbles, the building is lovely and the owners are fantastic. The view from the roof is more than worth it.

Mediocre coffee mixed with lack of courtesy, hygiene, and price gouging. Should have just gone to a cafe.

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived, but they got us seated much faster than we expected. Even with only two waitresses who were also handling hostess duties, the service was outstanding. They stayed friendly, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly. We ordered the one egg, potatoes, and biscuit combo, along with the pancake, potato, and bacon plate. Everything arrived hot and in a very reasonable amount of time. The potatoes were well-seasoned and full of flavor, and the biscuits tasted fresh and homemade. The pancake and bacon rounded out a delicious breakfast. The prices were very fair, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and they also offer outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the mountain air. Overall, this is an excellent breakfast spot in Silverton, and we'd happily eat here again!

This café is conveniently located about 0.4 miles from the Silverton Train Station, making it an…read moreeasy walk for visitors arriving by train. If you're visiting on the Durango & Silverton train, I recommend heading there promptly upon arrival, as the restaurants in town fill up quickly and long wait times can consume much of your limited time in Silverton. The café serves breakfast and lunch, opening at 7am, stop serving breakfast at 10:40 a.m. and closing at 2:30 p.m. During my visit, I ordered the Frito Pie, a dish featuring chili topped with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and Frito corn chips. While it was enjoyable, it lacked the level of spice I had expected from a Southwest Colorado specialty. My son ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and described it as decent. For dessert, I was fortunate to get the last slice of apple pie available, although they had already run out of whipped cream. The interior has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, but seating is limited and there is no air conditioning. Since temperatures reached 82°F during our visit, we opted to sit outside. Service was average, but the food arrived quickly, which was appreciated. One of the biggest advantages of dining here was avoiding the long lines that had formed at other restaurants. As we walked back to the train station, we noticed many people still waiting to be seated and served. Overall, this is a good option for train passengers looking for a convenient meal in Silverton, especially if you arrive early enough to beat the crowds.
