Nonetheless, it's a cute spot with a nice, cozy atmosphere. They have a few tables along with a couple of sofas, and I really liked the overall vibe. It can definitely get busy, so depending on when you come, finding a seat might be a little challenging. I do appreciate that they're open until 5 p.m., especially since there aren't many other coffee shop options around. One afternoon it was raining, so we came here and hung out for a while, and it was the perfect cozy place to spend some time. We tried the breakfast burrito once, which was okay, but I enjoyed their coffee and pastries more. They actually have a pretty good pastry selection. I tried the pumpkin bread one day and a cinnamon roll another time, and both were good. The staff was also consistently friendly each time we visited. As someone who likes my coffee stout, drip & diluted is rarely on my radar, but this cup of Americano ("Taste of the Law" - dark roast) is exceptional, and worth a drive (or ship a bag of beans). They are designed for hotels, offices, and airport lounges where you just push a button. When your "barista" hasn't have enough training on food safety to know you cant leave milk at room temp for 3 hours, that's a problem. We got two curdled lattes. That happens when the milk is too warm for the machines settings. Literally $20 straight in the trash because food poisoning in vacation isn't it. We won't be back.

We chatted a bit about the time when she owned the large restaurant next door and used to have all sorts of Au Pair coming form Europe to work the season in Silverton as servers. It was nice to meet a friendly shop owner as this does not seem to be always the case in this tourist Mecca :) We ordered a Strawberry Smoothie, a Chocolate filled croissant and an iced Coconut Latte. Everything was delicious, refreshing and it was great that the shop had a few benches outside where to relax and enjoy the cold drinks while gazing at the mountains.

Cute surrounding area with amazing coffee if you are around. Would highly recommended chai with oat milk, best I have ever had. Stop by and also grab freshly roasted beans by the bag to go home with you.

I got the breakfast bowl with eggs and summer vegetables, and unfortunately it was pretty disappointing. The bowl was also supposed to have sunchokes, but I honestly didn't see or taste any. Overall, it was just very bland. I also ordered a flat white, which had way too much milk and didn't really taste like a flat white. The milk didn't seem properly steamed and it almost tasted like cold/warm milk had just been added to the espresso. The one thing I really enjoyed was the homemade pop tart. That was actually delicious and easily the best thing we had. Overall, I found it pretty pricey, although I know that's somewhat expected in Telluride. For the price, though, I was hoping for much better food and coffee. The pop tart was great, but unfortunately the rest of the breakfast was a miss for me.

We love the mining decor inside the place as you walk down the stairs into the Cafe. We both ordered the Yankee girl breakfast, one with bacon and one with sausage and both with pancakes. Our food came out nice and hot in about 15 minutes. The sausage doesn't look like much but it's quite delicious and we actually preferred it over the bacon. The pancakes were good (a little dry) and we would've loved to have real maple syrup instead of pancake syrup. The eggs were nicely cooked and we loved the country potatoes. The coffee was very nice, a medium roast that's a little on the dark side. We would get it again though they do have options for latte and mocha. Everyone was very nice, especially Samantha, our server, and we would come back here again
