We chatted a bit about the time when she owned the large restaurant next door and used to have all sorts of Au Pair coming form Europe to work the season in Silverton as servers. It was nice to meet a friendly shop owner as this does not seem to be always the case in this tourist Mecca :) We ordered a Strawberry Smoothie, a Chocolate filled croissant and an iced Coconut Latte. Everything was delicious, refreshing and it was great that the shop had a few benches outside where to relax and enjoy the cold drinks while gazing at the mountains.

The service was also great, the gentleman there in the early morning was super friendly, I bought a coffee and prepaid for a bag of donuts that I wouldn't want for a couple of hours, and he had no problem with it and was happy to make the donuts later in the morning whenever I was ready--- I'm so happy I did because the donuts were the highlight of my day.
