We love the mining decor inside the place as you walk down the stairs into the Cafe. We both ordered the Yankee girl breakfast, one with bacon and one with sausage and both with pancakes. Our food came out nice and hot in about 15 minutes. The sausage doesn't look like much but it's quite delicious and we actually preferred it over the bacon. The pancakes were good (a little dry) and we would've loved to have real maple syrup instead of pancake syrup. The eggs were nicely cooked and we loved the country potatoes. The coffee was very nice, a medium roast that's a little on the dark side. We would get it again though they do have options for latte and mocha. Everyone was very nice, especially Samantha, our server, and we would come back here again

I needed a place I could get strong Wi-Fi to take Zoom meetings for work and spend the morning, and the icehouse was perfect! It's not too big, they have two side rooms branching off from the main room, with seating and tables that were perfect for a work from home day. The service was also great, the gentleman there in the early morning was super friendly, I bought a coffee and prepaid for a bag of donuts that I wouldn't want for a couple of hours, and he had no problem with it and was happy to make the donuts later in the morning whenever I was ready--- I'm so happy I did because the donuts were the highlight of my day. Overall, the food was amazing, but the portions were really small for pretty high prices, but I guess that's to be expected in a mountain town. I know rents there are high. I think it was still totally worth the money and I would definitely stop by again
