History
Established in 1986.
Coet 2 CPAs, P.C. started as a one person, sole proprietorship in the home of John and Frances Coet. After three filing periods and progressive growth, the Coets moved to an office space in Westminster, CO in 1988. John had been part-time with the business while working full-time in the Finance Center at Lowry Air Force Base, but became full-time with the practice in 1989. Ten years later, Cathie Asmus, an EA, and DU graduate in accounting, joined the firm. Cathie later attained her CPA, and became a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, working directly with business clients. Over the past 30+ years, the practice has grown dramatically in its expertise, services provided, and number of employees. Barbara Arnold, EA, has been with the firm for many years, assisting clients with notices from the IRS. Coet 2's excellent support staff also includes Sherri Schalamon, Bobbi Grim, and Keirsy DiGiovanni - professional bookkeepers - and Christina Hudson, payroll specialist.
