Sriracha fries were very Spicy hot. Truffles were grade A++. Each of us got a top shelf Margarita. Come to this restaurant if you love eating grease, and love to wait a long time for your food. Our server was good at her job. She did apologize for providing dessert fork because their dish washer was still running.. she was quick with our requests. Food... we were there for brunch, and they served maybe 15 different variety of food. it may look good in the photos, but they were so greasy (see photos) it's worse than the photo. I also had potatoes, and they were so crunchy. They were over cooked and I was unable to eat them. My cousin had chicken and waffles and, which was also greasy. Chicken taco was a small portion for any adult. You can see through the kitchen to the bathroom and kitchen was a huge mess. I cannot believe this place has so many good reviews. Also bartender broke bunch of glasses multiple times while we were there. So I have no idea what's happening with this restaurant. Also their mimosa was just orange juice. We had high hopes for our meal as Cody's came highly recommended by the hotel staff at the Courtyard. Unfortunately, our experience was underwhelming. First, it took more than an hour for us to get out food. Our waitress could tell we were unhappy, but here was not much she could do. Second when the food did finally arrive it wasn't that over the top meal worth waiting for. I ordered the wasabi encrusted salmon that was to be served with seasonal vegetable and starch. It came served in a pool of what looked like oatmeal. There were some granules on top of the salmon that didn't have much flavor. I guess that was the wasabi. Otherwise the salmon was very bland. I thought the starch was potatoes, but according to the waitress it was butternut squash. It sure seemed like potatoes to me. My daughter got the udon noodles. They came with lots of chicken, but the broth was incredibly salty, you didn't really get any other flavor out of it. We did express our disappointment to the waitperson who asked us how the meal was. She was apologetic and we did get a free dessert, but I felt like we got excuses. A new chef and each meal hand crafted...if the meal had been exceptional, I could have swallowed that explanation. But unfortunately it was not. First time getting here, and I'm truly kicking myself for not making time earlier. Dad and I stopped off to grab a quick bite to eat after a seminar, and started with the Honey Sriracha french fries. My dad is currently adhering to a vegan diet, so we got them without bleu cheese (I love bleu cheese), and they were outstanding. For a meal, he got the vegan Bean Machine 4.0 sandwich which has falafel style chickpea bites on a ciabatta bun, and I got the Swai Tacos, which have blackened Vietnamese catfish on corn tortillas. Both sandwiches came with kettle style chips, that aren't too greasy, and just the right level of saltiness. This is a very good choice when staying at this exit. It's so much better than hotel food. I had the wedge salad and gnocchi Mac and cheese and my SO had the Udon noodles. We thought the noodles were quite expensive for the amount and the fact it was only noodles. The gnocchi wasn't the best I've had, but it was good. I wil Fabulous wine and drink selection. Excellent! Amazing find in a town that did not seem to have much to offer that was unique. The Asian twist on classic dishes was a surprise. The chicken appetizer was amazing and had a sushi flavor that we sipped up with each bite of tender. The gnocchi Mac was amazing and smoky. I had to be stopped from ordering seconds due to dinner coming soon. I had the udon which was like the best comforting lo mein delish taste with chicken. Dessert did not disappoint. I think it's too pricey there. I ordered ahi tuna for starter. It was really good. The price for this one was acceptable. For main, I ordered there special. It was fish with Penang curry. It came with just 4-5 small pieces of fish one top of a little bit of rice and purple cabbage. The curry was good. Fish was so salty. American might like it but for me it was too much. Also Too much cabbage. The price was $22 if I'm not remember wrong. I would say not worth the price and would probably not gonna go back there again. My husband got burger. This visit to Cody's makes me never want to go back. After sitting in the restaurant for an hour, our appetizer was finally brought out to us. Our order was very simple, and after an hour and a half our meals were ready. But after the absurdly long wait, accompanied by uncharacteristicly poor service from our server, we'd decided it best to just take our food and leave. Once finally Being able to enjoy the food once home, I find the food thrown into a box, and flavorless. On my way from NY to Kentucky I made a night stop in the Marriott here at Bridgeport. Across the parking lot was a TGIF and I loathed to go there. On the other side was this little place called Cody's and I figured I would take a chance. So happy I did small restaurant was busy but room at the bar. Staff was friendly and they had a full bar service. I ordered the pot stickers as an appetizer and for the main i ordered the crispy pork belly with rice noodles . As promised the pork belly was crispy on the outside but moist and tender on the inside and not fatty at all. The rice noodles were in a delicious sweet and tangy sauce making a great salty sweet combo. Washed down with a glass of wine it was a Pleasant surprise for a road trip stop. read more

Terrible. We were so excited to try this place but will never be coming back. I'm not even one to complain, as I'm in the industry myself but the service we received was so bad. We waited 45 minutes for drinks and our app when there were 3 tables and 2 servers on. I had to stop her and ask for them. I had to go to the bar to order our second round of drinks because she NEVER checked on us. Food was okay but not worth the $100 check for 2 meals and 2 rounds of drinks. Do not recommend. I've been coming here since when they opened few years ago. I loved how they put a lot of veggies on their foods (usually foods that comes with noodles). In the past two months, I've been eating there and ordered take out few times, and last few times, it was not much of veggies or proteins, but it was mostly noodles. Specifically, I'm talking about Kung pao chicken that comes with glass noodle, japanese street udon and beef and mushroom which comes with udon noodles. I didn't mind pay extra to eat asian fusion foods from Cody's compare to other Asian restaurants around here BECAUSE OF Cody's food quality and balanced combination of veggies, carbs, and protein. However, it seems like it is now becoming mainly carbs (noodles) in the bowl. I wish they put variety of veggies along with noodles and proteins in a bowl. Last thing, it would be great if the each bowls of noodles taste different each other. Seems like they are all based on sweets and soy sauce... even fried rice tasted same. So when i ordered fried rice, kung pao chicken and beef and mushroom, they were all tasted same but just different ingredients which makes me tired of eating them even though i believed i ordered three different dishes. Great little find tucked into the plaza that's in walking distance to a number of hotels! Dined there on a Monday evening at 7pm when I was in town on business and I was one of very few patrons there when I arrived. Wait staff was friendly and my order was taken promptly. Menu selections were interesting and definitely not just standard (this is a good thing!). The Goat Cheese and Berry salad was excellent, as were the BBQ chicken skewers! This is a fantastic little place that serves excellent food and has a nice and relaxed interior atmosphere. I will definitely be back when I return to the area on business. read more

Bam! Based on the Yelp reviews, I tried Cody's. I was in the area and looking to grab lunch. Loved the menu selections. Not big menu, but it is unique. I had the blackened catfish (flour) tacos with fries. They did NOT disappoint! My critique would be speed. This is not a place for a quick lunch. I spent more time waiting for my food than eating it. Visited Cody's for dinner. My date had the Steak and Frites and I had the Cornish Game Hen. The steak was cooked to perfection and the cream sauce was awesome. The Cornish Game Hen is more flavorful than chicken. This was my first time for this dish. The service was great and the cozy atmosphere has class. We shared the Bread Pudding for dessert. My only suggestion is to dump the Maxwell House burner type coffee and replace it with a brew by the cup rich, bold coffee to compliment this truly unique venue. read more

I have been excited to try this new addition to the area for some time! Located in the new, White Oaks plaza in Bridgeport, Cody's is close to many large businesses and hotels. This restaurant has a cozy, yet modern, atmosphere. I can only review the lunch menu because I hear the menu during dinner hours differs. The first time I ate lunch there I ordered the Chicken and Pesto Flatbread. It was delicious and full of flavor! I can say the same thing for my second experience as well. Utterly indifferent service. I'd been stuck in traffic for an hour on a freezing nighjt and had been looking forward to trying the place. It was utterly dead in the dining area with about an hour left to close. There was no hostess or waitress around so I had to walk up to the bar and ask the bartender where I could sit. She said "Anywhere" despite about half the tables being dirty. I found a clean spot and sat down. After ten minutes of no recognition whatsoever, even from the bartender who sat around chatting with patrons at the far end of the bar, I grew infuriated and left. The staff couldn't have cared less. Perhaps they have a trust fund or Mob money to fall back on because it's inconceivable they could make much money by not serving the public. Avoid this miserable place at all costs. read more
