What started out as a "simple" main line repair and filtration system installation turned into a brutal boulder-removing nightmare for Larry, Ian, Chase, and Jacob. We contacted Codiak to ask for an estimate to have a kitchen sink and faucet swapped out. The estimate was $500. The owner himself showed up on time and is a really nice person, personable and professional. The job was straightforward, we supplied all parts necessary to complete the job and it went smoothly with no hitches. When the job was completed, my husband asked for the total damages and he told us both it would be $325. He left and when we got the invoice, it was $500. Inexplicably, after we called back, we were told that since we were quoted $500 originally, it would stand despite the business owner stating it would be $325. This is now the third time I have had Coty and his crew come to my home to do some plumbing work. Every time they come, they are a pleasure to deal with. Their work is top notch, he and his crew take the time to listen to what you want and need, and then make sure they get it exactly how you want it. Below is an edit of my review that I wrote earlier today. I decided to edit it after the Business owner wrote a response to my earlier review. The tech, Ian, who did a repair on our master bath faucets did a great job and was polite and communicative with both myself and my wife. He quoted me a price for the job before beginning the repair. He did not tell him how much the parts would cost and how much of the total would be for his labor. The job from start to finish took about one hour. After the work was completed I received an invoice by email. When I read it I was surprised that there was no breakdown differentiating parts and labor. I realize many contractors do not do such a breakdown, but I think that it is more fair for them to let the customer have that information. I phoned the business owner, Cody, and asked for a breakdown. He said he would call me later that day, but he never called. Several days went by so I emailed him to ask for the breakdown; he did not respond. So, three days later I wrote this review. The cost for the job was $250, and the total time for the work was about one hour. I do not know the charge our local plumbing supply charges for the parts here, but I could buy a brass Delta faucet cartridges from Amazon for $7.50 each b-4 tax. Even if the local store charges more for each cartridge than Amazon I doubt that the price for four of them would exceed $50.00. To me, it seems I paid about $200.00 for labor, and, that seems excessive. If Cody does not like this review then he should have called me back or responded to my email. read more

I enjoy submitting reviews of quality companies on Yelp. Top of mind, Codiak plumbing is honest and they have integrity, a rare find in today's plumbing world. I won't bash the 2 other companies but the 1st one wanted to charge me $15,000 to redo all my piping and the 2nd one was going to charge me nearly 2 1/2 times what Codiak did. Larry (see picture) holds the simple piece that needed to be replaced. Resetting a toilet that had been incorrectly installed by another company and augering the line and they also worked in tandem with SWE to reline a section of our sewer, which was the biggest part of the work.
