It's operated by the same company as the Adventure Park, though each requires separate admission tickets. The entrance is about a five-minute walk from the parking lot along a pebbled path. After seeing the tower, it reminded me of the Forest Tower in Denmark and wondered if it served as an inspiration for the design. The Nautilus Tower is 65 feet tall, and you can reach the top via stairs or by a spiral ramp. There are benches along the way for those who need a break. Once at the top, I was greeted with a beautiful view of the surrounding forest and lakes. After enjoying the view, I went down the steel slide, which was a lot of fun! You sit on a mat with handles for the descent, similar to a water slide but without the water. After the steel slide, I explored the Treetop Canopy Walk, accessible from the second level of the tower. The canopy walk was nice but also a little scary, giving me "Final Destination" vibes due to the amount of swinging and swaying on the bridge. I ended my visit at the Children's Treehouse Village, which is a nice play area if you have kids. I would recommend Owl Creek Landing for anyone who loves nature, a great family outing or even a date night. It's a wonderful addition to the Virginia Beach area.

I was responded to with an email back basically saying they can't honor sale promos in person or over the phone. It has to be done online, But it certainly was not a scam. There is an outside boardwalk that connects you to the South Bldg. It a brisk 12 minute walk to the South Bldg if you do not stop to take the kids to explore the animal displays and fun facts. You WILL need to present your tickets again to get into the South Bldg. If you decide to do the zip line there is a yurt where you can buy tickets. Aside from a few jellyfish displays and a hands on where you can touch live ones, that's all there is at the South Bldg. There were lots of little ones and strollers throughout. We walked through everything ( just 2 adults) in about 2 hours. If there was more to see and read, we would've stayed there longer.

We had to return another to glaze our art which was at our flexibility. There were so many glazes to choose from too. Then after our art pieces were glazed, we picked up our art all packaged up safely. This place is perfectly located in a nice shopping center. With easy parking. It clean for an art studio. It's one big colorful party! You go on the course and there are different color stations where people are either throwing color, spraying you with color in water guns, and at one station a girl was color drenched hugging everyone. At the end of the course it's one huge after party! They'll have contests, they'll throw color packets at you to throw on your friends, and tons of music to dance your heart out. We ended up with color in my mouth, and up my nose. We got there 20 minutes before our 10 heat, but we went ahead with everyone else. The event seemed a bit disorganized. When we got to where the crowd was nobody could tell us where we were supposed to go for the main event and it was the first time my husband and I participated. During the race they ran out of water bottles on the course and the course was scattered with plastic bottles. It was a bit disappointing considering the price that we paid for our tickets, but we took it in stride. If you want water along the course please being your own just to be safe. During the after party they were dumping gel buckets on people and we wanted to participate. We stood in line for awhile, but nobody told people that we needed tickets for it. At the after party they gave us a granola bar and bottled water. It was a lot of fun with people throwing color packets everywhere, loud music, contests, and dancing.
