Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable, and their center director (Nathan) is amazing with the kids and a graduate of Stanford!

There's parking in the back and also street parking. Pricing wasn't too bad considering I think they play here for a couple of hours so it's good they don't charge by the hour(s). Also, you get a discount for the 2nd child. The place has a lot of space compared to the other playgrounds around here. From slides to balls to pretend stores and make up, there's a section for all ages which is pretty neat. First room has a play area for toddlers while the opposite side has a slide and maze for school aged kids. Then there's the other bigger room with a trampoline, basketball hoops and maze. Adults can hang out at the tables or sofas while their kids roam around. Place seems pretty secure but could use a better lock control at the front. Otherwise, place is great to bring your kids to have fun and get out of the house for a bit.

Ball pits, trampolines, slides and many more engaging things wait for your kiddos. I have taken my 19-month son here twice and he loves it every time. It is $35 for 2 hours on the weekend, and unlimited time on the weekdays. Since they host birthday parties, check their yelp or call to see if they are open on the weekends. One thing I like is about Wonderland is that I can bring my coffee or outside food/drinks while I watch my son play. Socks are worn in the play areas at all times. One piece of advice for adults, bring your exercise clothes because you will be warm going through the play areas with your young ones. If your child needs a space to expend energy, I would recommend bringing him/her here!

The event was seamless as the group of kids started off with a scavenger hunt, made necklaces with the "treasure" they found and had something to eat while the necklaces were assembled. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt magical, filled with warmth, joy, and genuine care. The hosts were exceptionally kind and had a wonderful way of connecting with the children, making every child feel seen and included. This is, without a doubt, the best party venue I have ever visited. The celebration began with a scavenger hunt that was thoughtfully designed. The instructions were simple and easy for kids to follow, yet the presentation was playful, mysterious, and captivating. Every child was completely absorbed, watching with excitement and curiosity. Next, the children created their own necklaces, and all kids will pick a bead to make a special necklace for the birthday girl. Each activity felt intentional and meaningful. Nothing felt rushed, chaotic, or overwhelming. Instead, the pace was calm and well balanced, creating a peaceful and welcoming environment. The entire experience was relaxing and joyful, allowing you to savor every moment. It was the kind of place that makes you wish you could be a child again. We spent two truly magical hours here, and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It is a rare and beautiful hidden gem.

Our kids ages 2 to 7 all had a great time! There was so much to do, from walking through the river and doing water play, to sand play in the pretend lake, to crafts (that we didn't have time for), to climbing equipment, and building/engineering/physics activities. Plenty of things to do both indoor and outdoor. The physics section is great for older kids too, even middle school (but the rest of the museum is definitely geared to elementary).

Outside, there are two adjacent outdoor kid's playgrounds. Near the entrance they have juice and fruit vendors and a balloonist. Entry fee is very reasonable at under $50 for family of three with in-and-out privileges. Inside the museum, its like 80% outdoor exhibits and 20% indoor. They have an onsite cafe and food vendors throughout. The outdoor exhibits has a park area dedicated to physics. You'll see fans, pulleys, etc. to help your child appreciate scientific concepts while having fun. They also have tie-dye stations, climbing structures, tricycle race tracks, live music, and my son's favorites - the sandbox and pretend farmer's market and veggie patch. I noted lots of friendly staff dressed as camp rangers working with the kids and maintaining order with a smile, which is huge. Inside the buildings, you'll see traditional kid activities like toy trains, quiet reading areas, legos, and even more climbing structures. Looking forward to coming back next time we're in the area. The in-and-out policy is nice since they have lots of nearby offsite restaurants in nearby Old Pasadena.

Nothing feels difficult or intimidating. The instructor quietly walks around, making sure each child has what they need and offering support without interrupting their creative flow. They're attentive, calm, and truly professional. The pricing is a bit on the higher side, but totally worth it for the quality of instruction and support. Check for promotions or deals. They spend about 5 minutes going over some rules, and then it's just up to the kids to throw paint on the canvas.
