However, having Dr. Daigler help me with my 18 year old Callie (cat) was honestly the most compassionate and caring passing that I could have hoped for my little one. If you are struggling with a pet in need of final help, please call Dr. Daigler of A Peaceful Passage. She's a Godsend and a wonderful person. She'll help you through a very difficult time.

The family was able to be together to send our precious girl off because we were able to coordinate it on a Sunday. No scary trip to the vet. Before Dr. Daiger came, we got Mila outside as a family. She soaked in some sunshine, was able to see some of the million bunnies in our neighborhood, and even spotted a neighborhood cat on it's front porch. She died warm from her short walk, with a belly full of bacon from breakfast and the treats that Dr. Daigler brought. She was calm and happy, and her poor broken body is no longer in pain. What Dr. Daigler does cannot be easy, but she offers the kindest form of passing for our much cherished pets. Would that we could all be so lucky. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Daigler.

We lost him unexpectedly, and Megan was incredibly compassionate, caring, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She came to our home to pick him up, performed an examination, and shared her professional thoughts on what may have caused his sudden passing. She carefully wrapped him in a blanket before taking him for the water cremation, which helped bring us comfort during such a heartbreaking time. The entire process was quick, affordable, and handled with exceptional care. The water cremation was beautifully done. His remains were returned in a lovely silk pouch, and we received beautifully crafted paw prints for my husband, myself, and each of our children. We also received a small glass keepsake containing his name and a lock of his fur. As an added touch, there was a packet of wildflower seeds and a scented candle, which was such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture. Overall, we were truly blown away by the level of compassion, care, and attention to detail provided by Companion Crossroads. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness they showed our family and would highly recommend their services to anyone facing the loss of a beloved pet.

I am here to express my unending gratitude for every single employee at the centennial location as well as the Henderson location(where her body was originally transported) for making the worst moment of my life a bit more bearable. From the employees I spoke with that suggested the viewing service while I was hysterically trying to secure peace of mind to Louis who took care of and prepared my baby girl for her final walk home, the compassion shown was nothing short of incredible. With her passing being during the holiday season(12/23) I was not able to have the service until 1/6, exactly 2 weeks after her passing and I was very nervous about how she would look, feel and overall be presented to me. As soon as they opened the door to the bereavement room that was prepared for us an instant cry of relief, she looked just as she did while she was sleeping, so peaceful. I've seen a lot of reviews commenting negatively on prices for this service(and pricing in general) so it's important to me to share just how incredible lasting paws staff made the worst moment of my life. Honestly the cost was such a small price to pay for the experience of being able to touch, kiss, hug my baby girl one last time. So while some may think this is a "money grab on grieving pet parents" I could see(and feel) just how much love and care went into her viewing service by the staff. They bathed her, brushed her and had her prepared on a table with soft blankets and a pillow for her head. Louis did a very thorough job of explaining everything about the cremation process and communicated with me through every step. I brought supplies to make more nose/paw prints but forgot scissors so that I could clip more of her fur, without question the sweet front desk staff provided a pair of scissors and a small plastic bag to keep the clippings in. I had used a euthabag(instead of standard issued plastic bags) that I had sent to all of her loved ones to write sweet final goodbye messages. One of the many reasons I did this was so that whoever was handling her could tell how loved and special she was...Louis made a point to comment on this stating that him and the staff really enjoyed reading the messages on her bag and could feel how loved and special she was. That small seemingly insignificant exchange truly helped my grieving heart so much, just to know she was seen in death the same way as when she was here, so very loved. I had 30 mins with her but of course was offered more time if I felt as though I need it, in fact when Louis came back in to check on us and I had said I was ready, after explaining everything he even confirmed again that I did not need more time. I was given the option to leave and come back when everything was done OR stay in the room dedicated for us while she was being cremated. I opted to stay with her throughout the entire process because I promised her I would be with her until the very end. Once Louis took her to the back I was still able to watch via a tv with a live feed in the bereavement room and Louis even came back in the room to let me know when it was finished and he was going to be opening the door to begin brushing her ashes out so that I may look away if I needed to. I was there from 9am-2:30pm and was able to go home with her and all of her prints and clay paws. I guess I'm leaving this review to sing the highest of praises for lasting paws employees and their viewing service option but also to let any grieving pet parents know: if you're on the fence on whether or not the viewing services is "worth the money" ....it 100% is-being able to kiss her sweet nose one last time was priceless and truly has helped so much with my grieving process. Also I hope Louis sees this and knows how much of a positive impact he made during the worst time of my life and how grateful I am for the care he showed my girl after her passing-He made this whole experience a bit more bearable and really honored my girl.

So we wanted to meet her outside of the pen and they agreed and while we spent 2 hours bonding with the dog, the director basically said she would not be letting us get her because she was "bonded" with another dog even though there was no indication of that, the dogs sleep and eat separately, and did not interact with each other at all for the whole time we were there. The entire time she talked about everything other than the dog and when we tried to bring it up she changed the subject, and asked entirely inappropriate and unrelated questions. We came from 6 hours away and wasted our time bonding with the dog only to not be able to get it over something so arbitrary and subjective. The director would rather let that dog sit in a small pen in inhumane conditions than let someone get her and open that spot up for another rescue.
