My husband and friends and I had brunch here last Saturday. I found the prices and menu options…read moreoverall very good (but agree a bit much for the sides) so I don't see all the fuss on that matter. Service wasn't amazing but also want terrible so maybe we were just lucky?! It was quite busy though. I got the kale and sweetcorn fritters, my husband the pancakes and my friends the buttermilk fried chicken burgers. My fritters were lovely: a bit sweet but also savoury with the kale, and the perfect texture. But there were only two small pucks on the plate. I had asked for scrambled rather than poached egg but the egg still came poached. There was a tiny greens and julienned carrot portion as well as a dab of labneh. But the pink kraut I asked for on the side was tiny for £3! So as you can see in my photo below very little for the amount paid. Yummy but I was still hungry after! Meanwhile my husband's pancakes portion was delicious and huge. Three enormous stacks drizzled with caramel and plenty of banana slices and blueberries. I had a few bites and had total food envy. My friends said their buttermilk chicken was fine but nothing to rave about. I was hungry when I left so had a second brunch at Story Coffee down the road (quinoa pancakes yum!)

Brilliant place serving brilliant food…read more I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and to sample the "bottomless prosecco" deal. Needless to say, bottomless definitely was bottomless! How much we drank was unknown and to be honest you never really manage to keep track. This, couple with what I can only describe as the BEST burger I have ever had (posh chicken burger) and the most friendliest and preppy service there is made for a fantastic day and night out.

You don't have to be a soho house member to dine here. Also to highlight that their kitchen open…read moreuntil later than most restaurants! They have recently changed the menu to Mexican food which is bad news for me because I LOVE their burger. But the new menu is pretty we priced so I'm not too mad about it.

For anyone considering eating here, I would recommend you review all your options. I'm quite…read moredisappointed in my experience. Food was underwhelming and basic. Things were looking promising when I saw a vegetarian breakfast offered in lieu of the traditional English breakfast. I was drawn to the dish because it offered spinach and hash browns in lieu of all the meat in its partner dish. My friend ordered the regular Full English and her dish came out well before mine. I waited roughly 10-15 minutes longer for something that would appear to take less cook time. The plate came out and I noticed there was no spinach. I was not offered a choice as a substitute nor made aware of the situation. Long story short I ended up ordering the Full English and they forgot my black pudding. Waited additional time for that as well. Then they forgot I asked for the bill. Overall, I would not recommend it, especially if you're on a time schedule and multiple mishaps occurred. No cash accepted and 12.5% service charge automatically added to the final bill with the usual VAT.
