This summer, we attended the annual Geneva Illinois Car Show. While we were there, I saw several people with shopping bags from The Cocoon Boutique store. I was intrigued, so I went inside to check out out. It is listed as a furniture and household goods store, but it is much more than that. Yes, they have some furniture, but, they also have a lot of eclectic kitschy items as well as some clothing. There is a vast assortment of soaps, toiletries, figurines, costume jewelry, and unique gift items. It's 2 floors of fun and I suggest that you stop in next time you're in the area.

This store is really cute and big! It has two levels of items with various rooms. It has home decor, wall art, Knick knacks, some clothing, some baby items, bath and body. Really a wide range of items! Everything was displayed in an eye appealing way and flowed nicely. I would definitely stop in again!

OK.... I'm not in to gift shop stuff but this place is in an old home in Geneva, Illinois. Plenty of rooms to keep the curios lid interested... for me .... Let the wife look and I'll find a nearby bar. So ladies leave the guys to split a few pints in the bar while you ogle at room after room of ..... stuff,

Fun selfies in the upstairs bathroom shower!

My absolute favorite spot in Geneva to shop around. Geneva is adorable with tons of stores in converted houses so it's fun to wander them. Cocoon has an excellent section of home goods/decor, fun little knick knacks, some clothing/jewelry/accessories and just a wide variety of small little gifts that are thoughtful and cute! I ALWAYS leave with something for my mom and she is always thrilled with what I bring her. Pricing is also INCREDIBLY reasonable and great deals! Make sure you stop here in if you're in Geneva

I love this place. Perfect reading material for your children. Wether you are trying to raise the next leader of Antifa, communist revolutionary commander or just want to mold your little one to understand why she needs to put on a vagina hat and march against any given conservative politician. They have the book for you! If you don't have this all time favorite classic in your collection stop by Cocoon for your chance to own one today! Certainly one you will not want to burn in your town square when the time comes.

This is a very nice, neat store for you to shop for presents for families and friends, decorating objects for home, or some special treats for everyday life, such as good quality soaps. Compared to the little traveler, just down the third street a little bit more, I realize I like cocoon more and more over the years in terms of shopping for presents. I still love the little traveler since they offer a wider range of products from food, snack, home decoration, kitchen collection, or fashion accessories. But, I would say that, with two floors of nice collection, Cocoon offers a good range of nice goodies and especially girls I believe would find this shop very visual appealing and useful. That's the main reason I started to come here more often to purchase presents for my girl friends mainly. Don't forget to go upstairs for more inspiration and surprises!

“I have been looking for a retailer that carried Tokyo Milk for the longest time so I could finally smell them (Sephora sells online, but they don't carry in store = womp).”

This is a great store that exudes love for Chicago everywhere. You'll find some stuff local to…read morethese far west suburbs as well, but a lot of the stuff has Chicago-specific themes to it (for instance, the Chicago flag). They have t-shirts, blankets, coasters, glasses, hats, wall art... you name it, you might find it. It's a great place for Chicago souvenirs or just for those who love the city (and most people around here love their city) and its environs to find something for themselves. I saw some things that looked familiar and that's because they were from Tori Grace Outfitters, a local artist whom I love (check out her Chicago icon pajamas, they're great!). The place is super packed but we were able to navigate well enough with strollers. But being packed to the gills just means it's that much more likely you'll find just the thing you're looking for. I ended up with a Swiftie t-shirt for my kiddo because my friend handed it to her and then she would not part with it. The employees were friendly and talkative, and one of them I think was the owner. I liked the store a lot and as I said, it's a great place for souvenirs. I don't live close to Geneva but that's the only reason I wouldn't shop here. If I had known about the place before I went home a few weeks ago, I probably would have visited because I was looking for a place to get some souvenirs for my friends kids, and may keep them in mind for the next visit home for exactly that reason.

This store is very Chicago themed and features goods from local artisans…read more I bought a sports themed shirt for my son and coasters. The coasters had tons of unique options. Some were of children's books, adult books, and sport logos. Friendly customer service!

Either I came at a good time, or this place is chocked full of good deals! I love World Market and…read moreI get really excited when I see one. It's rare for me to ever pass up a chance to shop here. When I came in, I wasn't really in a shopping mood per se and I was with my mom who thinks that anything over $1 is a rip-off. However, neither of these situations changed the fact that I was going to peruse every aisle. I was surprised at the amount of sale items each aisle had. I ended up buying a turquoise stone necklace and some matching earrings. They were both already marked down with an additional 30% on the sale items. I also found a really cute gift bag and matching tissue paper that ended up being around $1 on sale. For the same price of an ugly gift bag at Party City, I got a really cool handmade one. My favorite thing about World Market is their wordly foods and this particular location had a great selection too (although I left without picking any food related item up) My in-laws went to Italy and for Christmas, I decided to make them an Italian themed gift basket. I found about 90% of the imported items from World Market. I find that at least half of my Christmas shopping is done at World Market because you can find really unique things for anyone on your list. I also recommend signing up for their reward club. You can earn points just by providing your phone # at checkout and if you sign up for emails, you frequently receive store coupons that can be used on anything minus alcohol. The service at this particular store was great. I had a nice guy ring me up and there were even a few people ask if we needed help.
