We've ordered beef, chicken, kale, and other dishes - every item's seasoning was perfect and cooked to perfection! I couldn't stop eating until everything's gone! Now, I'm a big Sheldon Simeon fan!

They have a lot of interesting sauces and almost every food can be a side, which is amazing. After you order, they will text you when the order is ready. Got the: 1. Mochiko Chicken 7.5/10, with crispy crackers sprinkled on top that helps with texture 2. garlic shrimp: 9/10, large garlicky shrimp that's not overcooked like the original truck 3. Garlic noodles: 9/10, delicious and garlicky, a worthy side if you want large portions of the noodle 4. Kochujang miso Aioli: 8.5/10, slightly sweet and not at all spicy, it was a perfect accompaniment to the Mochiko Chicken Parking: shared lot in the strip mall, turnover is usually quick enough that if it is full, you only have to wait 5 mins for a spot to open up. We ended up sitting at the bar, which still had a beautiful view of the water. We ordered the ono with sweet potato gnocchi, but the fish was substituted with mahi-mahi, and it was hands down the best mahi-mahi I've ever had! We also ordered the upu since neither of us had tried it before, and surprisingly, it tasted just like chicken. Honestly, it was probably the best chicken I've ever had too. Service was amazing! Our bartender was incredibly helpful and even gave us recommendations on where to catch the best sunsets on the island. The complimentary bread and au jus were so good that the couple sitting next to us inhaled three orders! We ended our meal with the Black Pearl dessert, which was the cutest little chocolate mousse cake. I'm so glad we got to experience this place! We were seriously debating coming back the very next day, but since it's our first time in Maui, we figured we should probably explore some other restaurants too. That's how much we enjoyed it here!

Excited to go to to Maui so I can eat at Sparky's. This has become one of my go to places on Maui…read more Food is constantly very yummy. My top two favorites are pastele stew and the guava chicken katsu. Pastele stew is really good, I would recommend to anyone who has not tried this type of stew. It's not very common and I'm pretty particular about the taste. They do it very well. The guava chicken katsu is also equally addictive even when it's cold. My former favorite was the smoke meat. I sometimes buy all three so that I can get it over $50. They give a discount with American savings debit card and give you $10 back. Took a friend there who has the loco moco and he was very impressed by the size and quality of the food. I haven't been able to try that yet cause I'm still stuck craving my top three. I've tried the coconut cake and it's ok. Also tried the candy pork jerky. It has a more pure flavor which is ok though kinda pricey. So I would say you should try those for yourself and decide. Eating in is very nice and clean. The staff serving are always very warm and welcoming. They serve a good mix of locals and visitors. Soon to have a bar. Going to be an awesome place to hang out. Hopefully it doesn't get to crazy crowded. But if it does, they deserve it. Tip. Freeze the pastel stew and bring it back to Oahu so you can enjoy between maui trips.

Five Stars - A Sweet Maui Treat Worth Returning For!…read more This was our family's first visit to Tobi's Shave Ice, and it definitely won't be our last! As first-timers, I asked the staff for a recommendation and decided to trust their expertise. Great decision. I ordered the High Surf, and it was absolutely delicious--refreshing, flavorful, and exactly what you want after a day in the Maui sun. One of my daughters chose to add soft serve underneath her shave ice, which was a combination I had never tried before. It sounded unusual at first, but after a few bites, I completely understood why it's so popular. The creamy soft serve paired perfectly with the light, fluffy shave ice. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help us navigate the menu. Their enthusiasm added to the experience and made us feel right at home. Beyond the shave ice itself, the atmosphere was part of what made this stop special. Sitting outside in a charming small-town setting with a relaxed island vibe made it feel like more than just a dessert stop--it was an experience. The shave ice was fantastic, the service was great, and the overall vibe was exactly what we hoped for during our Maui visit. We're very happy we gave Tobi's a try and would absolutely return the next time we're on the island. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!
