It is currently a heat wave in LA and this order is perfect for the hot weather. The grape juice is sweet and has a little bit of the pulp. It is very refreshing! The candy-coated grapes are their signature product and I am happy to try this unique dessert for the first time. It's pretty good. The grapes are firm so they have a bit of a snap and the toppings are not that sweet (which to me, is a compliment). When I got home, I put them in the freezer and I like them even more. DD'z Treatz is located in a corner where you can also grab Carribean food so these luxury grapes would be great for dessert.

A single post seeking free-range and organic Turkey sources to my 800+ followers turned up a lot of the usual. Gelson's. Whole Foods. etc. But there was one that stood out: a tweet from Farmer's Market Fairy. Linda stated she could procure anything I desired. Being that my needs were specific (unfrozen, un-brined, free range, organic and butchered into a whole breast, separate thighs/drums/wings) I felt this would be an option that would get me exactly what I wanted and in a timely fashion. After a couple DM's on twitter and some follow up emails, all was arranged. Linda, was knowledgeable, efficient and able to get me my bird that same day. She met me at my place in Downtown (near to where she lives/operates). The bird was exactly what I asked for and very reasonably priced and I never had to leave my place. She even gave me some info on the source of the bird (great fodder to relay to guests). The turkey ended up being amazing. Amazing taste, and thankfully my preparation went off with out a hitch. E&J was able to get me everything I needed, AND Lupe delivered it to my place on the morning of my event. It was so easy, and all the items were high quality. It's a travesty that there was only 1 review for E&J, because it's easy to look past, but if you're having a big event and you need high quality produce and fruits, he's your guy. As I am traveling I wasn't able to really ship, but I did grab a bag of cheesy puffs and an adaptogen tonic water. I love that the water was locally made! And the prices are not too bad, very comparable to a Sprouts or Trader Joe's. I will be back when I am back in this area.
