Buffalo Cauliflower wings mashed potatoes and gravy with cornbread.

Ai am rating the Süprmarkt top honors. Found this market on Instagram last night and after a few hours reviewing her (the owner Olympia Auset) page and journey to bring the community a healthy option for food (being familiar with the area) ai was absolutely elated to read about this accomplishment. Ai was so impressed after perusing the IG page that ai had to take the trip to see and experience. So today Ai went. And besides being impressed and floored with the buildings inside and outside aesthetics. The grocery and hot food kitchen were just as impressive. Ai purchased a couple stalks of kale. A couple stalks of fresh cilantro and a half dozen pears. Having started a fast recently ai was looking for better options to aide in my transition from foods like eggs dairy meat and hidden sugars. Ai love pancakes and almost all things baked so upon going into the pantry ai picked up a 12oz bag of Bobs Red Mill Egg replacer and a 5oz bag of Bob's Red Mill nutritional yeast because ai enjoy cooking. Now ai will be changing my food preference from meat dairy and starches to electric non hybridized plant based foods. That's my goal. Either case. Ai also ordered some hot food which was delicious. Don't know the lady's name that helped at the register but she had a very beautiful disposition. She helped me navigate the produce and food menu and ai appreciated that. One of the guys (cooking) threw in a rice pudding type desert that was flavorful and delicious. Give thanks. Ai ordered the buffalo cauliflower wings mashed potatoes and gravy cornbread lentil soup and greens. Ai went out right away and sat down on the patio to delve deep into my meal. Micheal brought out some of the hot honey sauce for the wings that was simply fire. After having my fill ai gathered up my left overs and put them in the bag and went back inside when Micheal came out from behind the food counter and walked me through the pantry and explained to me how they made the cornbread so deliciously. Ai learned something because ai had never known anything about a grain called Einkorn. But a light google search revealed that it was part of the wheat family. Einkorn wheat is either a wild species of wheat or its domesticated form. The wild form is T. boeoticum, and the domesticated form is T. monococcum. Einkorn is a diploid species of hulled wheat, with tough glumes that tightly enclose the grains. Wikipedia Gonna do a little more research just to be informed but give thanks to Micheal for the exposure. The cornbreads really delicious. Either case. Ai am now a steady supporter and customer from now on. Best wishes and top honors for your efforts to bring better to a community that deserves the love. Gratitude and give thanks! &

Energy and food so good I visited twice in one day. The plant-based groceries are so good, and the hot food even better. Arrive early to ensure what you want isn't sold out. Looooooooong live Suprmarkt.

This is a beautiful store selling organic and plant based products in South Central Los Angeles. I've received their produce subscriptions for a few years and I've always enjoyed what SÜPRMARKT had to offer. It has been inspiring to see this local business grow. It is mostly difficult and inconvenient to get quality organic produce in my neighborhood. This is freshest produce in South Central LA! SÜPRMARKT helps keep me on track with my wellness goals. Thanks to them I'm eating right!

But before she had gone into the register she was trying to squeeze past my mom without even saying excuse me. She was too busy talking to our cashier at register 1 (Isabel) . I was so shocked that I never said anything at first because my parents raised me to not be like that. I am always saying excuse me and trying to be polite but not having manners for my mom and probably anybody else will absolutely not be tolerated. I also work retail but the lack of manners in this store is super concerning. Especially since the cashier we had (Isabel) started talking on the phone while ringing us up maybe my work place is more strict than this place but it's still no excuse to not have the ability to say "excuse me" to a customer. You never know if me and my mom would have flipped over how rude that cashier was but we are calm people but we still are very offended by how disrespectful the lady was. Especially me because that is my mother!

I had a coupon for this store ($5 off $10 or more purchase). I guess this was a grand opening deal…read more The store is new. The store just opened Today. Since i was in area, i decided to stop by. The store was congested with the crowd that reflected that neighborhood. Its a mixture of regular to ghetto. No drama. Just people shopping. There is always some idiot who doesnt know how to behave in public. But thats every where. Aisles are narrow. So its not much space for two carts on each side. Frozen food aisle is small. But ok to find what you need. Fresh produced is good for the size of store. You see it when you walk in door. Meat section is ok as well. The selection is a mixture of name brand stuff and off brand stuff i never heard of. But the prices are great for both. Ok for some. But never overpriced, which is great for the community. If you are a name brand buyer, you may be a little heartbroken. Because a lot of stuff is missing. Canned chili aisle doesnt have hormel, etc. It has off brand. For the most part, they have a a decent amount of name brand stuff (jimmy dean, frito lay, general mills quaker, pepsi, etc) and a lot of off brand stuff that may be the same quality. I purchased some "morning delight" french toast sticks. Im an eggo or krustez shopper. Those brands are not sold here. I ate some of the morning delight a few minutes ago. It tasted good. $1.99 was a great price for them. I would buy them again. So dont judge a book by its cover. Their check out is ok. Every check out was opened. There is no bagging area for groceries or a dedicated bagger. The cashier puts your cart at the end of conveyor belt and places your groceries in cart. If you want a 10 cent bag, he or she will bag your groceries. I paid using my visa debit card with chip. What i like about this store is they allow u to use a chip visa or master card debit card as a credit card. So u dont have to enter your pin. Whereas Kroger (ralphs, food4less, etc.) requires chip card holder to enter pin. So this was a great surprise. I generally do not like to enter pin unless im at bank atm machine. They also accept other payment methods such as ebt, checks, etc. Overall its a nice clean store. Good for the people in the area to have a store near them. If im in the area, would definitely visit again. This is a clear alternative to the ralphs and other big stores within this area.

After entering my PIN # to complete the $ 78.19 transaction, waiting for the Cashier to do her part, machine froze upon printing my receipt. Cashier asked for managerial assistance, only to be misdirected by an assistant manger that turned the Cash Register off...erasing all payment history. Now, Assistant Manger/Manger advises me that the transaction didn't go through. Although, my credit card reflected current charges. They wanted me to make an additional payment for $78.19. Not to mention, they refused to give me my food and/or the items that I purchased. I ask the Manger to call Corporate to advise me that if my transaction was paid or voided. Manager calls technical support (IT) not Accounting and he advises the manager that the payment did post to my account, but he requested a reversal and the $78.19 should be placed back on my credit card with 24-48 hrs. Manager offers me $20 in coupons, and made me re-purchased the items for $58.19 As of 6/7/2016 I have not received my $78.19 credit/money back to my card. They are refusing to help me, or let me speak to anyone with Corporate.
