What's great for events is the ability to open large train station doors on the rear (west) side of the building because it connects to a beautifully finished patio. So for events the ability to customize the layout, provide a good stroll for attendees and not feel cramped into a small space is fantastic! Perhaps the best thing is how photogenic the space can be! The play structure is built wide enough that parents can follow their kids around/look for them without bothering other kids/parents. The have lots of seating areas/benches/tables. They even have the playground split in two parts, one for the bigger kids and one for the little ones (2-5yrs). Also, instead of sand on the ground to break kids falls, they have soft rubber padding which stays much cleaner than sand. Theres even a nice grassy area for picnics. Cons- None

There was a coffee machine accessible to guests at all hours of the day. The black out curtains worked well. The bad: Our keycard got demagnetized multiple times so we had to keep bringing it to the lobby to activate. It happened to other guests too. Lesser known groups play here and locals, so you get to see some raw talent at its best. I came on a Friday night and when I showed up 5 minutes before the advertised time no one was there. Literally no one. But within 30 minutes about 20-30 people came. They started the show about 30 minutes late which was kind of annoying but it was all right. I would suggest showing up "fashionably late." The owner, Jet, is really nice and even came up to me between bands and started talking to me because he didn't recognize me and wanted to know if I was new. The sound guy is friendly as well. There is a bar, coffee shop, and restaurants all within walking distance so people usually hit those places up before or after the show. If you want to experience the Logan music scene, this is the place to go. They have all different types of shows from acoustic guitar playing to open mic night to heavy metal.

Kangaroo Zoo has lots of inflatables for the kids and enough space so they aren't constantly bouncing on top of each other. There are some reserved for the littlest of littles which protects them. Food and party spaces are available and the fees to get in are reasonable. They also have drinks and snacks available pretty cheap (they don't allow outside food and drink in. There are plenty of tables, chairs, couches, and benches to sit and visit with other adults or watch your kids. Everybody takes their shoes off so make sure even the adults have non-holey socks on.
