After 20 min we requested it again which she promptly brought sweet tea. He took one swig and almost vomited. He then politely asked for UN-sweet tea and she kept pointing to the glass insisting "That is sweet tea." Instead of arguing just do your job and don't assume that we don't know what we are talking about. He finally got the UN-sweet tea. We saw another table had an issue with her. I've been to my share of coffee shops where the espresso based drinks either tasted burned or were so sugary you feel a diabetic coma upcoming. Not so here. Theirs are perfection with perfect balance of strong and sweet if you like flavors. Then there's a rotating bit of seasonal syrups and house-curated drink options. My favorite is the atmosphere. Couches and comfy large armed chairs, great art, tables outside, what's not to love? The owners take such pride in their shop. I enjoy the fish and chips and we normally start with the Porter rolls with sea salt butter which are great! Katie was very attentive and focused on giving us a truly enjoyable experience. She was friendly, and was so sweet to speak with. The atmosphere at Ramsey's is always exciting, bustling and fun to watch the chefs prepare your meal. The fish and chips, steamed asparagus and porter rolls were all excellent. Katie made sure our drinks were always filled and offered a to go cup when we were leaving. I used my celebration dinner from Caesar's for our meal. I wanted to use the extra money on the celebration dinner to leave an additional tip for Katie and was surprised to find out that is doesn't work that way. We have always left a tip but there was over $15 left on our Caesar's comp that apparently you can't use as an additional tip and you lose it. So if using a comp- please make sure you top your server and use up the entire amount of your promo. We definitely took care of her but I know she would have appreciated the additional $$. All in all, an excellent meal. Can't wait to return. They are the best restaurant at Caesar's in Danville. Make sure to make reservations. I do want to add that the hostess was somewhat rude, we showed up 5 minutes early for our reservation and there were plenty of empty seats...she literally pointed to an area away from the hostess desk and said "you're early, you need to wait over there" but rudely.
