The establishment has an open area with tables and a counter where you order and select your ice cream. There is plenty of room to walk around and between the tables, which is lovely. The entire place is bright and clean. The decor is a bit eclectic, like a cross between a movie theater and nostalgic Americana. But the quirkiness works. The prices are reasonable, and the servings are very large, except for the candy (see below). The young lady working behind the counter (just one person was working when we were there) was polite, friendly, and efficient. Regarding the candy, there is a 5' tall "wall" of candy (think tiny candies individually wrapped) that they sell. On top of the wall are some wooden boxes. They sell the boxes for you to buy candy and put in them. Those were an expensive option, but no harm, no foul. You might love this option. We will be going back and I highly recommend you go, too! Five Stars

It lacked the creamy mouth feel of real ice cream, it was overly sweet fake semi-cold goo. I got several chocolates, but stopped ordering them when I saw a bunch of gnats flying around inside the containers. The one chocolate I ate that I felt confident wouldn't come with a side of gnats tasted old and stale. The booth was dirty, table was dirty, the trach can lid had streaks of ice cream smeared all over it. In general, the 3 items were tried were not good and it was dirty.

There is so much they offer. As far as eating they have Breakfast (smoked salmon bagel!), hot if cold sandwiches (the Jezabel ham!), salads (green ones but I love chicken salad), specialty pizzas (Neapolitan Nod!), and charcuterie boards! Then there is an extensive selection of teas, espresso based drinks, and wines (white, red, or sparking). You can enjoy a glass or a bottle. I've been to my share of coffee shops where the espresso based drinks either tasted burned or were so sugary you feel a diabetic coma upcoming. Not so here. Theirs are perfection with perfect balance of strong and sweet if you like flavors. Then there's a rotating bit of seasonal syrups and house-curated drink options. My favorite is the atmosphere. Couches and comfy large armed chairs, great art, tables outside, what's not to love? The owners take such pride in their shop. They keep it clean, always have a smile and kind word, and make sure their staff has that same spirit. This places puts the best out there for Danville.

The breakfast menu did not have much for me, but I was happy that I settled on a texturally intriguing apple crumble cake and paired it with a contrasting vegetal tea, which came loose leaf and ready to steep. Service was on the only slow side with only one person, presumably the owner, working. It was the sort of place where many would come for ambiance and sit a while.

The sign out by the road made me a little skeptical but I convinced my husband to turn around and let me take a look inside- I was sure glad we did. It has an abundance of everything you can think of if you like to bake or just enjoy to eat. I have been wanting to bake pumpernickel bread forever but finding all the ingredients just never happens but I was thrilled to find Every variety of flour from medium rye meal pumpernickel to einkorn. They even had the malt powder. Home I went to bake up my first loaf ever and it was excellent! The have all sorts of things, if you like to bake- thickening agents, Sugars, flavorings,...a variety of jams, cheese, meats, baking pans, gadgets... They have fresh baked bread-we brought home a loaf of sourdough bread- regular loaf style but was fresh and pretty good. Planning a trip back with some friends, there is a nice new cafe in Roxboro- Incorrigible Cafe, will grab lunch there and then head over to Yoder's for something different to do. There is also an old school house and jail in town. I believe you need an appointment to go inside. Also prices were good compared to Whole Foods. Worth a trip if you don't live nearby.

We decided to get the chicken pesto and filet entrees and split them. For starters the risotto and broccolini is so good it melts in your mouth. The chicken pesto is cooked perfectly and very moist. It's stuffed with cheese and pesto which is flavored nicely. Now the steak. OMG!!! The steak was better than Ruth Chris!! It was cooked medium and came perfect!! The au jus sauce that came with it rocked my taste buds!! I dipped everything in it. The fried okra was absolutely the best I've ever had. The mashed potatoes were good also. Needless to say the $51 dollar steak meal was delicious and absolutely worth it!! We appreciate Ashley for serving us and offering recommendations for our next visit. She also made our Golden Rum Punch and Mistletoe Martini. The venue is established in an old building with a really cool set up inside. Absolutely the best place to eat in Danville!
