a breakfast sandwich and a starbucks cup

I was relieved to find this coffee place in the hotel! They do serve Starbucks! I was sad they only had one hot item on the menu, the English muffin sandwich. I was really disappointed when I bit into it and it was still cold inside. Coffee was good, food.. not so much.

The Cocoa Bean is located inside the Gaylord Opryland Hotel - it's right around the corner from the main lobby check in area. I hit The Coffee Bean twice during my stay at the Gaylord Opryland - both times I ordered iced lattes - first time was a triple shot iced latte with whole milk; the second time a double shot iced latte with whole milk. Both drinks were strong and tasty and did the trick! Fed my brain the caffeine it oh so desperately craved and needed! There are a number of tables off to the side where you can sit and enjoy your beverage or work on your notebook computer or mobile device. Service was good!

Simply gross and overpriced. Signs posted reflect Starbucks- yet they aren't Starbucks? Guess selling the product only.

Overpriced hotel coffee and bakery goods. A welcome escape from the cheap coffee available in your room.

A good bean shop on the way to the convention floor! Better than the self serve Starbucks machines scattered around.

Angelica mostly works alone and was very busy as there were over 7,000 attendees at our conference…read more Lines would be LONG but she effortlessly served the customers and was apologetic if items were out of stock. Food options include sandwiches, chips, fruit, yogurt, fresh fruit, desserts and a variety of beverages from Starbucks. Conservatory Cafe is carry out only. There is a microwave in the space and ambiance is nice. It's very clean. Prices are moderate and in alignment for a hotel. It was a lifesaver when I needed to grab something in a hurry!

I came to this cafe 35 mins before closing, and they turned me down saying they closed early today…read more Seemed like the whole staff was there, standing around the register. I spoke to Netosha, and she tried sending me to some other cafe. I said I wanted to dine here instead and cited that I did come well before closing. She didn't provide any form of excuse or apology, just repeated that they are already closed. When I said, "but it's not even 2 pm, and according to the website, you close at 2", she replied with a snark, "is there any particular reason why you want to dine HERE?" I said, there was something on the menu that I had seen earlier and really wanted to try it. She shrugged her shoulders and repeated that they are closed. Again, there were a bunch of workers standing around. The pastries were still behind the glass. They could've easily served me if they cared enough. They could've also asked what I wanted. What if whatever I had in mind was readily available? All I wanted was coffee and a pastry. If her snarky question was only to find out what I wanted to eat so that she could point me in the right direction, it would've been one thing. But when I answered her question, saying about an item on the menu, she didn't ask what it was and simply repeated that they are closed. I found this short encounter with Netosha incredibly rude. This is not how you treat a customer who happens to be a local.

We loved our breakfast at Milk and Honey!…read more I've read this place can get very busy and have lengthy waits! Thankfully when we stopped in on a recent weekday morning there was no wait and we were seated in the most perfect spot right away! We chose an outdoor table! The outdoor patio is so nice, even in the Nashville summer heat!! We got there before it was super hot out and the patio kept us super comfortable the whole time!! :) We had a really great waitress who was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to help us make the best decisions for what we were craving!! We started with a couple of drip coffees that came out in adorable cups, on saucers, with spoons, very lovely appearance! Quite delicious! We ordered a fried chicken biscuit sandwich that was served with their home fries and a side of country gravy. This was delicious! I HIGHLY recommend trying their table hot sauce! We loved it so much we bought a bottle to take home!! :) We also ordered the Chicken and waffles. This dish is also served with home fries and a then a side of syrup. This meal was also fantastic!! We had a really great experience at Milk and Honey and would highly recommend for someone looking for not just a good meal, but an entire lovely breakfast experience! :) Don't forget to check out their gift shop and bakery treats to go, on your way out!!

(We had other dinner plans in a few hrs) we got the ricotta/honey bread, the honey butter biscuits and a Bloody Mary. Ricotta/honey: everyone raves about this but we thought it was boring. Ricotta was cold but the bread was warm. No flavor. Added salt and pepper just for something. It gives me ideas of something better to make some day do for that I'm Grateful. Biscuits: husband and friends loved them!! Could have used more butter but still good. Bloody Mary- YEEEESSS!! It was perfect. Our friend got the hot chicken and he loved it. I had 1 bite and it was definitely hot!! And yes- very good. All in all, a good different brunch place for an out of towner. Nothing amazing that I will come back for. Great customer service!
